I bought these boots in black as I already have them in cognac and I simply love them. They're a little hard to put on in the beginning (that's why I only gave 4 stars), but once on are very comfortable. I just simply love my new boots.

I bought these boots two weeks ago and I am loving them. They do run large but I wouldn't size down. They are good for a normal Teacher workday and for going out. It is hard to take them off at night but I don't mind. I recommend them:)

These boots are beautiful and high quality, as expected from Frye! I was so glad to see them offered in wide calf. However, the calf really isn't as wide as I had hoped it would be. So far, I've only been able to pull them up over socks - not jeans. The foot is also more narrow than I had hoped, but has plenty of length. I'm keeping them in hopes that the calf will stretch out enough for me to get them more easily over some skinny jeans, and in the meantime I'm wearing them around the house without tucking my pants into them.

These boots are gorgeous. The leather is thick and smooth. The calf is wide enough for my athletic, ample calf. I wear a 4 to 6 in clothes, but I have a 9 1/2 wide foot. My complaint is the width in the foot area. I only wear these with tights, but they are fairly tight and rub on my pinky toes. I have bunions on both feet on the big toe and little toe joints. So, these boots are a bit painful for me. I have kept them and continued to wear them because I have two other pair of Frye Boots, and they stretched a great deal over time. For now bandaids help. Eventually, I hope I can put orthotics In and skip the bandaids. Frye should consider making the width of their shoes wider. Wider calves probably correlate with wider feet most of the time. These are really beautiful boots. There is no other brand with this quality of leather.

I love them. They do run big and the reviews stated that but others complained about how tight they were. I have an avg wide foot and I bought my size and I find them SL big. No worry, I just use my insoles .

I paid full price for these boots and was sent used boots. Considering the return policy that Frye has Im surprised they were even shipped to me. Im shipping them back and have to wait for them to do a quality check before they will send out another pair, which is just frustrating.

I have never returned anything to the Frye co. before so I was really disappointed that I had to pay shipping both ways. I thought a company of your caliber & items of your quality & price should appreciate your customers a little more. Ive resolved to reframe from ordering from Frye.

The boots were beautiful. I am 79 years old. I had to return them because I didn't realize the soles would be so slick.

I had to send the Black boots back because they were TOO big. I read in many reviews that the boots run small, so I sized up 1/2. They dont run small. The second reason I returned the boots is Because I was not the first owner of-the boots. The sole of the boots definitely showed signs of wear The shaft of one of the boots also was discolored. I am very disappointed that I had to pay for return shipping. Frye makes Great Boots, however I recommend buying them from a reputable retailer, Not on line.

The boots are beautiful. However, there are women that are not the size of cows. There are those with slim/narrow calves. This company does not offer a boot with this slim calf option. Beautiful product. Would not recommend for slim ladies. Sorry had to return.

They do not have a zipper which makes putting them on or taking them off very difficult. I also find it is causing them to loose their shape faster than expected.

Boot is so tight I cant get foot into boot. Try to exchange and website shows in stock until I attempt to pay. Then it wont go through saying size not in stock. Then I get follow up emails of item left in cart. Very frustrating! Only option then is to return and get charged $12 for the pleasure. Extremely poor showing.

Fit is big but very easy to get on and comfortable with heavy socks.

The boots I received had been worn. The bottom of both boots were scuffed. There was a scratch mark on the side of a boot and there wasn't any protective paper in the box, just the boots. I had to ship them back, pay shipping both ways for boots I should have never been sent. Sent back Saturday. Still waiting for refund.

I finally pushed the button and bought these and I am glad I did. They are gorgeous!

Beautiful boots. Stitch and tailoring look amazing. Yet, near impossible to get one heal into boot. One boot fine. Need to return, but hope to purchase a different cut/ style.

Beautiful boot, incredible quality and the natural leather smells so good. My shoe size is 9. 5, so I upsized to 10 to be able to wear thicker socks if needed. The shaft is very slim and there isnt a zipper, which I prefer.
