I LOVE the look and feel of this purse! It works well for me when I go out for a casual event. It is not large enough to be an everyday purse for me and that's on me for needing a larger everyday purse. I am working at reducing what I put in a purse so I could use it every day. Again, I LOVE this purse.

Love the quality and feel of this bag, and I'm able to (just barely) get by with it as my daily purse. (I'm used to a large Daniel-sized bag!) The only thing I'm frustrated by is the flap zipper, the hardware dangle seems to get caught at an odd angle which impedes opening it simply. It's a very small annoyance and overall it's lovely and I'm looking forward to traveling with it!

Cabana is too cute. Holds just enough and is neutral enough to go with most outfits. Knocked off a star because there isn't much structure so the top of the bag between the straps bunches a bit. Definitely not a problem if you carry as a clutch!

I still love the style of the bag and the softness of the leather. I'm planning to order an all leather version for fall. Hammitt does suggest the Raffia material should be handled with care around deep colors and jeans but I've found that all colors regardless of the material stain the Raffia. So far I have had to limit when I can wear it. Mostly white and creams. Hammitt it would be wonderful if your company could come up with a solution to this problem.

Absolutely love this bag. My only complaint is that I wish the strap was a little thicker or if there was an option for a thicker strap.

I love this color! The description says that it's grey, but it's more beige to me...like a taupe. The size is perfect if you're looking for a medium sized bag. I love the style and convenience of the flap pocket. I can keep my sunglasses in there without worrying about using the space-hogging sunglasses case. I am taking away a star for the high maintenance material though.

I received my Raffia Gunmetal VIP today. The leather is extremely soft and the style is so unique. I was a bit disappointed as the zipper on the flap does not lay flat, more like a wave. Also, there were quite a few loose threads. I decided to overlook these things as the bag was just so pretty. I used it immediately.

I like the size and the inside is very nice. I am not crazy about the puffy leather.

My large VIP is absolutely great texture and quality. However, the bag is smaller than the description. My bag length is 11" instead of 12". One inch makes huge difference in these smaller size bags. I was hoping little more capacity for daily use. Still love it though

I bought this in a gorgeous deep olive color. The bag is stunning and holds a ton. I was surprised this littlw bag held so much. The only thing that was not aaaaahhhmazing was the thinness of the strap for the size and weight of the bag

I would give this bag more than 5 stars if Hammitt swap out the " strap for the 1" one it deserves without having to invest an additional $75. The narrow strap is not only uncomfortable, it looks wrong. It's disproportionately small for the large bag and solid design aesthetic. The bag itself is buttery soft and gorgeously well made. I love that the flap pocket is a pocket unto itself, rather than opening to the entire bag and the fact that it's magnetized to hold it over in the fold. Today my wider strap arrived and NOW the bag looks like a 5 bag. I'm trying not to feel a little cheated about having to spend the additional money to make it look like the expensive bag is.

I was very excited for my Hammit bag purchase. I do love the quality of the leather and the overall style, but I was very upset to see that within a few weeks, the leather strap is fraying. This is highly disappointing considering on how much these bags are. For this, I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful light weight bag with gorgeous detail. Downside, for the price, the shoulder strap is very narrow (less than 1/2 inch), pretty sure this won't last long with regular use. Other colors in this bag do have a 1 inch strap.

I purchased a beautiful pebble leather VIP large at Dillards in a beautiful peach color. My only dislike about this style is the flatness of the bag. It's a great bag if you aren't going to stuff it.

Love the vip large bag with matching wallet. Only complaint is the thin crossbody strap on bag, needs to be a little wider. Would purchase black bag if improved strap. So many comments on bag.

I had been eyeing this green lizard bag for a while and my husband bought it for me for my birthday. I have the Montana Large in black (first Hammitt bag). This bag is pretty and different. The green color is perfect. This bag has some flaws though. The crossbody strap is too short by about 3 inches - substantially shorter than the Montana so it just won't lay right as a crossbody. The other odd thing about this bag is the top zipper pocket will not stay down if you have keys or sunglasses in it (the intended purpose) - the hooks get twisted and the flap sticks out or up. Finally - just as a public service announcement really - I guess we have to register these bags somehow to use the warranty - I bought both of mine at a local department store . . . there was not any paperwork saying I needed to register the bags. So buyer beware when you purchase these from the retailers that I guess there is some document that should be included with the bag to allow you to register it . . . . . I LOVE my first hammitt bag. . . this one was a little bit of a let down - mostly just because of the shorted crossbody strap and the weird flap issue that is driving me nuts. I have 5 kids - 4 are teenagers and one is a toddler. constant shoving of things into my bag is not uncommon . . . . that flap not laying flat and the hooks holding the strap on getting stuck on the flap is driving me crazy . . . on day 2. I would buy another hammitt. . . . they are doing a lot of things right . . . but this bag may just not work as well for the working mom of multiple kids. . . .

This bag is utterly gorgeous. The black/gold/red combo is stunning, and the leather is so soft. I bought this to be my everyday bag, and it fits my 210 West wallet, keys, kindle, chapstick, mask, and phone with some room left. I really love the dedicated phone pocket. However I agree with other reviews that this bag should come with a 1" strap. I haven't bought one yet but I will most likely end up doing so, and it would be great to not spend an extra $75 on something that fits the bag better.

Love the bag. VIP large is perfect. Wish this size bag came with thicker strap. Why does medium size bag have the thicker strap ? I am trying to find out if i can buy just the thicker strap now

I wanted to love this bag so much but it's just a tad too narrow for me.

I really like the bag, the leather is so soft! The only thing I am not really happy about is the strap. It is very thin and feels pretty flimsy to me. I feel like at that price point there should be a better strap that comes with it. I love the packing that the bag comes in!

Everything about it is as described by by others that have purchased the VIP lg. I gave four stars because it really does need the 1" wide strap.

I purchased the large Hammitt bag! Black and red with gold hardware!!! Love it!

I love it! I'm not a big fan of suede because i'm really clumsy, so when ever I where it, I have to be super careful. It goes with every outfit. It's great!

The bag is beautiful but the straps are very thin and the leather in the gray color stains very easily. I really like the design of the bag but it is just too delicate in my opinion.
