The VIP Black/Brushed Gold Red Zip -Large is what drew me to Hammitt. I saw it on a FB ad and knew I HAD to have it. This bag is wonderful becuase you can carry it as a clutch, a shoulder bag or a crossbody. The leather is luscious and soft. It is a perfect piece to add to my growing Hammitt collection!

After seeing ads cross my Insta feed, I was curious about your bags. I am very cautious about ordering online from unknown vendors, but the bags looked so beautiful, I was planning to take the risk. But then, I was so pleased to see that Hammitt has a store at South Coast Plaza! I purchased the large VIP with the red zipper and matching 110 North wallet. LOVE both. The front pocket for glasses is such a great idea! (Especially for those of us who use reading glasses!) I also love the cellphone pocket on the outside that is deep enough so that my phone is fully protected. The leather is soft and pliable and having full closure of the bag with a zipper is a necessity these days. I was so impressed with your product that I took my husband with me back to the shop and we purchased a gray Montana and a small, star print credit card case for my daughter. Santa will be bringing me the small black Roger bag. So happy to purchase products made in America and especially made in L.A.!!

Feel like a total rockstar. Really soft, holding up very well, light weight. And the red zipper is the perfect pop of color. I'm super picky about my bags so this was an awesome everyday bag. Thank you, Hammitt!

First of all, the packaging was beautiful so I knew immediately I was going to love my new crossbody. The leather is incredibly soft and just gorgeous. Extremely happy with my purchase!

found Hammitt scrolling through FB. clicked and fell in love with the purse. ordered and it's better than expected. the medium was a tiny bit smaller than expected, so darn. - I had to order a smaller wallet to match and fit. I'm considering a bag for work now.

The large VIP is the bag I have been searching for! It's the right size to fit everything I need and has an external phone pocket, which is a must for me! I have gotten many compliments already, and I am hooked. WIll be purchasing more bags soon.

There are many things to like about this beautiful purse. The color combo was different than on my monitor, and just didn't work for what I would wear it with. I would shop for Hammitt items again.

The quality is unmatched, there's just enough sure to give a cool weather feel, but not so much that it feels out of place in the summer. If I'm going out and don't want the bulk of a big bag, I can fit all my essentials with room to spare in it! I've never gotten so many compliments for a crossbody bag before I bought this one!

This is the first Hammitt I have ever purchased a couple of years ago and it still looks amazing!!! It is a good size to fit a wallet, sunglasses, phone, lip gloss, and hand lotion without looking bulky!

Perfect for vacation

I purchased about 20 cross body bags and returned 19 of them. This bag is beautiful- very soft leather, intriguing color contrast, and a nice fall. I wore it every day of an 8 day Ireland trip and it served its purpose nicely. It was even noticed by the girl at the Chanel boutique who asked who made it and where I found it! My only critique is that I wish they offered the same bag in a larger size. It's hard to find the perfect bag for Disneyland with a toddler!

I love my Large VIP and I have received compliments when I've worn it, just in the first few weeks. There are a few changes I would suggest being made to really elevate this item from "nice" to "WOW". It is slightly smaller than I anticipated. Even using the measurements provided, I find it difficult sometimes to fold over the flap and have it lay flat easily, when there is bulk in the bag. I wish it were just a tad wider to accommodate more. The red suede lining is not as rich as I would like. It is more of a sun faded red/burnt orange color. It would be more rich it it were a true cardinal red. So far, the hardware is state of the art and the zipper has held up well; no scratches to the rivets. Bottom line - I am impressed with the hardware. The strap, is just ok. I am fine with the width and length of the strap. I do feel like, for the price point, the side edges of the strap should be waxed or sealed so that it does not fray as easily. Wouldn't a red sealant on the sides of the straps really elevate this bag?! The exposed rough leather edges make the strap look worn and rustic. This is a look some may be going for, but I find that the strap does not match the overall high end quality of the bag itself. I'm eager to use it as a clutch, but no so much as a crossbody. 4 out of 5 stars.
