Im disappointed in the PRO. It is super slippery and I know we are supposed to wash it, salt it, lay it in the sun, and break it in for a few months or whatever but I feel like paying $140+ship for a yoga mat we should be able to use right away. Ill keep working on it, but I think I will eventually resell it. I got the GRP Manduka and I love it.

After 10-ish practice the grip got perfect and still than I love to use my Manduka pro, and I'm never going back to any other mat again

The mat had a very strong smell out of the box but is heavy-duty and will last a very long time. It is also very slippery out of the box. I washed it with soap and water (not the recommended salting process but it worked just fine for me) and it's great. No slipping and no more smell for the most part.

I love the extra length and breadth of this mat, so luxurious.

I purchased the black purple I think it's called it's of good quality good grip I think I'll still have to add something to pad it more for my knees.

I've had this mat for about 6 months now and I still slip in hot yoga. I am purchasing a yoga towel to help with this but for the price of this mat I feel like I shouldn't have to cave in to purchase a towel.

super high quality and arrived when expected

When I unrolled the mat it was a little slimy, so as suggested in the label I used the overnight salt method. At first it was was still a little bit slippery, I let it out flat without rolling it for two weeks, using the towel when I felt there was the slimy film coming out and now I am happy :)

Excellent thickness and quality, i returned it though because it is wayyyy too heavy to take anywhere.

This is not my first Manduka Pro and it won't be my last. Best mat ever! Green color is so pretty! I want all the colors! lol

Love my new mat!

I love the thickness but the mat is so incredibly slippery. I did the whole sea salt thing that was suggested but that did not improve matters. I have to havr a grippy towel to go with the mat, never had to do that with any other brand. Do you have a stickier option?

This mat has the absolute perfect level of cushioning for me, and the grip - even brand new is impressive.

A high quality Mat for sure. The salting process was a whole new thing to us, but makes sense. Thoroughly enjoying it for sure!

This mat will make you feel like a superhero! The grip is perfect and the support is amazing.

This is my favorite mat to practice on. It doesnt slide around on the floor during practice, and provides a nice firm cushiony support. I now own it in two colors. I love it!

Had the Matt for a week now! Love the 6mm thickness. First day I used it , I had not salted it yet, so my hands slipped especially in down dog. This weekend I did the recommended salt treatment and my practice was fabulous! I shouldve bought this mat 20 years ago! Love it

The length is perfect and the grip is outstanding. Worth the price!

Like that it is longer and wider than normal mats. Purchased for my 65 son and it is the perfect size.
