Love the texture, thickness and the color is calming. I have received lots of compliments too.

The grip is great, and the thickness is just perfect for my knees.

Love the grip and is big enough to move easily and comfortably on it.

So far so good. I added salt for 24 hours to help break it in. It was still slick so I added some more and put the mat in direct sunlight. That worked perfectly.

It is not as sticky or grippy as I would like. My hands and feet slip. Any suggestions

This mat is beautiful and somehow very comfortable. It is very heavy to take to the studio.....I was going to return it, but I used it at home 2 times and it just feels right.....I'll keep it!

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this mat if you have an active practice like vinyasa or ashtanga, or even just a hatha flow. I have broken it for several months and also tried to break it again and again with sea salt as recommended, but this mat is very slippery. Your hands will absolutely slip, especially in your downward dog. It may be life guaranteed and good quality, but sadly it will stay at home since I had to buy another mat to keep up with my practice!

The Pro mat is longer and wider than other mats. The thickness really makes my knees happy. Theres enough grip that you dont slip, but not so much that you feel glued to the mat.

It was very slippery the first time I used it. but probably just needs to be broken in.

This is the best yoga mat Ive ever owned, and Ive tried many different kinds. I held off trying the Manduka because of the slippery reviews, but I dont find it to be slippery. I feel the grip is perfect for me.

The grip is very good, the length is just perfect, and 6 mm is better than 4.5mm, for sure. I love 6mm better, and purchased another for my yoga classes in another location.

Wonderful mat, right out of the box! It came with instructions for reducing initial slippery-ness, but I didn't need to do anything - the grip is great. Love the thickness under my knees. Amazing product.

Heavier than expected. Sturdy and provides adequate cushioning. Very slippery on first use. Was expecting a bit better quality for the price.

I was hesitant to purchase the Pro because I read about it being a slip and slide at first and I wasn't sure I wanted to do the salting thing. I'm glad I took a chance and did so! Love this mat!! Good cushion for my bad knees, yet stable for practice. Great grip. I'm not experiencing much slipping so trying to break it in the old fashioned way, and so far, so good!

High quality, sticky enough for my needs, very long and thick.

Very well crafted. a little on the heavy side for traveling, a strap-mat carrier its a must for traveling.

I like the thickness of this mat - so comfortable!
