Manduka mats are the best! This is my second matnot because my first wore out. My first is fine. I just wanted another because theyre so awesome and this one is pretty.

It smelled so bad!! Still has a smell. And its the heaviest thing ever. It is very nice quality and the color is also nice.

Texture of the mat is perfect looking forward spending time on it

This is a nice large mat, with great grip. The thickness is ideal for comfort during Pilates. Its also environmentally conscious which is an important factor.

I love the look and feel of my new mat. And I also appreciate the thickness.

The mat is very slippery. I was in a gentle yoga class with mostly stretching and very little flow, so not a lot of sweating, and my hands and feet were slipping on the mat. I even salted the mat to help break it in, per the instructions, but it's still slippery.

It's just like my mat I've had since about 2010 when the green was a specialty color! The original is still going strong. This second mat is for our cabin so I don't have to keep transporting my mat back and forth.

I hope it lasts me a long time

It just not as grippy as Id hoped. A lot of money (for me) to not be perfect.

I love everything about it the color is fabulous the size is wonderful and the thickness is great for my aging body and sore knees plus the grip is perfect no slipping in some of the more challenging postures.

The color is so nice, the surface seems strong and not slippery.

Great for home gym. Too heavy for my needs.

Love it. I have been using the PRO 6mm in black for over 10 years. So please to add some colours to my practice. Did try a similar price range yoga mat brand..but there is nothing like the Manduka PRO.

Great texture and very comfortable

It is embarrassing that you need to use salt to make the mat usable. In completely dry non sweaty moments my hands still slide. 20 yoga mats dont have this issue. I gave it two stars because other than the sliding the mat is heavy, doesnt move on the floor and provides cushion for my knees

As gym one

After years of yoga practice I decide to treat myself with Manduka. The design is lovely, the mat is sturdy, good quality rubber, BUT very slippery. Salt method used, it helped insignificantly. I'll try again. If you practice in hot environments (I'm based in Greece) it's not suitable without the towel (+) . I'll try to work on it now that I bought it, and try to be positive it will get better over time.

Nothing to compare to this, a world leader and beautifully made, I always look forward to practising on my Manduka mat

I understand that the mat needs to be broken in but it's so slippy that I can't even use it to break it in. I'm so disappointed with it. I did the salt method to try to break it but it didn't help much and I'm slipping out of basic poses. My hands slip out of downward dog, my feet are slipping out of warrior two, it's completely ruins my practice. I'm going to try continuing the salt method and search other ways to break it in.
