The BEST MAT I've worked on so far. As a suggestion, a mat line with demarcation lines would be extremely welcome, it would have saved me 13 hours of "painting" work with a toothpick, and the subsequent emotions regarding how it will last over time (the paint ) considering that I work on it daily for 2.5-3 hours.

It took a while till it stopped being slippery but once that stopped the mat is just perfect. Perfect size even though I am 185 cm, very stern, fits in my manduka bag. Maybe a bit too heavy if you often carry it around, but then it is 6mm :)

Finally, a mat that is long enough and cushions well. Salting made the magic and the grip is excellent with dry hands.

Strong material, nice color, non slippery, not too soft. Heavy enough to stay firm and flat on the floor. No problems with purchase and shipping. At 88 euro it's worth every cent of its price!

Im slipping all over. Ive done everything it says on the instructions with the salt. My yoga teacher cant understand it. As Ive tried her mats with no issues.

I cant believe how slippery this mat is! For a professional yoga mat and at this price point I expected this mat to be far superior. I like the thickness and weight of the mat. It didnt slide around on the floor but I slid all over the mat in the first session. I followed the recommendations to salt the mat first, but I dont know that I will be able to use this mat at all during hot yoga or during the summer at all! So disappointed!

Very slipper on the hands but its sturdy.

I wish I could return it. This Yoga mat is super heavy and not thick enough to protect my knees. Also, I still have the slipping issue that I had with a much cheaper yoga mat from TJ Maxx. Very disappointed with this super pricey product.

it is wider, and after I broke it with sea salt, the grip is so good. I have bought 4mm ones, but 6mm one I bought this time is the best. It has pushed my practice to a higher level. love it>

Perfect grip on the floor, doesnt move , sweat soaking, extra cushioned for smooth flow

Its a bit slippery, I was expecting a strong grip, especially when doing the salt process, but Im not getting a secure feel when using this mat. Im disappointed for the price I paid. I do love the thickness and length, hopefully itll just take a few more workouts to get more grippy

Nice cushion, but so so slippery! I did the salt rub as suggested, but it made no difference. Im hoping grip will improve soon, its so uncomfortable and a little scary to be sliding around during practice.

Super mate!

High quality and very durable! The only problem is it is too slippery to be used right out of the box. So per advice on the packaging, I covered it in sea salt and let it sit for 24 hours. After the 24 hours was up, I washed it off with a wet rag, let it dry on it's own, and tried to use it again just to realize it still needs a repeat salt treatment. Couldn't they do that at the yoga mat factory?

I love all Manduka Mats. They are never slippery and always feel so good. This mat is for my son.

Upon initial use, after prep (with salt), still a little slippery. In addition to using it to break it in, I simply leave it out/unrolled for a few days, which historically has shortened the slippery period of a new mat. Great quality!

It does get slippery when you sweat. There's plenty of cheaper yoga towels you can find so I don't feel obligated to buy one that's brand specific. It is closed so that's going to happen. I don't mind because it's more hygienic than open cell and it also won't disintegrate. I ordered Verve and the picture doesn't do the color justice. I'm happy with my purchase. This was an investment, like a really nice bike, something I plan to use a lot but also take care of and in return I'll have it indefinitely.

The mat is crazy slippery. No grip at all. Also not after doing geh SPA treatment with salt on it. Which I think is reticules.

Manduka mats are the best! This is my second matnot because my first wore out. My first is fine. I just wanted another because theyre so awesome and this one is pretty.
