I wear these on a daily basis . I purchase because they are the only 6E leather on the market. I'm on my feet at work and I have to replace the insoles in about a month, as they compress and then my foot moves.

The quality of these shoes seems to be slipping, these are expensive shoes and are very seldom included in sales or special deals. I would expect them to be top of the line..I need a deep and wide toe box, V3 is better then V2, but neither are as good as the original 928 or even the 927.. I wore these shoes less than a week and one of the lace holes ripped. I have a pair that I have for a year and the holes are all fine. The material seems to be of cheaper quality then the older versions. I once got a pair of 928v2 that had a strong odor. I returned them to the store where I purchased them and they took them back. I wrote a note to New Balance, but never heard a word from anyone. I would have given this shoe 5 Stars a couple of years ago. Since they were moved offshore the quality has gone down.

I just walked two miles in these shoes and they are fine. I am not please with any shoe I buy as they all feel as though I am walking on marbles, even this new shoe. I have tried inserts from my foot doctor and from Doctor Scholl. I have tried different socks. Nothing seems to stop this problem. This has been a discomfort for me for about 10 years. I guess I will just live with it.

I use for walking. Looks are good. Fit was different than previous models with a little more room front to back. The tongue is shorter and laces cinch up closer to the toes which isn't that comfortable for me. For being the most expensive shoes from NB I own, they come in last place for fit.

from pronator's perspective: not enough support when your foot rolling inward (overpronation), not enough long tongue, not enough stiff heel collar, a little hard cushion(maybe after some breaking period it changes), las but not least - seems to fit better for someone with fat foot than normal

Personal daily use. The shoe string gap is too wide. Shoe strings are too short.

Have bought this same shoe for over 10 years and they just keep making them cheaper. Tongue is too short, laces are way too short and overall quality is lacking. I will wear them as there is nothing else on the market that meets my needs.

I like the quality of the shoes, but I have worn several other NB shoes in the past and have always needed a 11.5 size shoe. These seem to have more room in the toe than I have been used to. Not sure if this model runs large or not.

When I ordered these sneakers online, I thought I would be getting a replacement pair for my current go to sneakers. These shoes are not all leather and not like the pair I currently wear. I am returning them and going to a New Balance store to buy the correct pair. The shoes are probably good but not the ones that I want,

Over the years (at least five or six) I have purchased men's New Balance model 928, 928 v2, 928 v3 (multiple pairs of the v2) The "roll bar" feature is especially important to me. Something has changed in the v3. I have always purchased size 11, 4E width shoes. The v3 I recently purchased is different from the earlier versions in two respects. One: the v3 is a looser fit I needed a show horn for the earlier versions to get them on and I liked that they were a more snug fit. Two: the tongue in the v3 wants to slide down under the laces and I have to pull it back up after a short time of wearing the shoes. The 928 is my preferred shoe I just wonder why there seems to be a change in the way the shoe fits in v3. Sincerely, George

After a year of nearly everyday use, they have completely fallen apart. I think some of it was defect and some bad fit. Still, the Rollbar has save by ankles and i could walk miles in them without pain.

I have been buying the shoes since the 928 came out. They have been the best for my neuropathy. This last purchase I was emailed a coupon from NB for 15% of and free shipping. I didn't need a new pair but these are expensive and hard to find any discounts. I made the purchase on line entered the coupon code and nothing happened. Continued with the purchase thinking it was a computer error and contacted NB customer service. They informed me the 928 models do not qualify for the coupon they sent me!

I always purchase New balance shoes. when I find an exceptional fit/feel I purchase multiples. I currently wear 608, but can no longer find them in stores. I tried these, but they are not nearly as comfortable, feels like I am walking on concrete, not rubber.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for twenty + years (990, 991, and 993). This is my third pair of 928's -- first pair was V2, and other two are V3. I gave the first two pairs a 5 star rating, I am my 70's and it's the best shoe I've found to help my foot pain. I've planned to keep wearing 928's indefinitely -- but..... The tounges in the most recent pair are about 3/8 in. shorter than the last two pair, and are too short to cushion the top laces. I'm making do, but if the next pair have the same problem, I'll have to return them and search a new favorite shoe.

Have been wearing NB 900 series back to the 926. The design of the 928V3 tongue is terrible. If you try to lace the 928V3 all the way into the top - plastic enhanced - hole the result is the shoelace is exposed to the ankle instead of the tongue. Yes, I do have the laces through the slot in the tongue. I call NB Customer Service. Their response was: 1) have not heard about that problem. 2) Try a different model NB shoe. Using the search "new balance 928v3 tongue problem" on internet will result in this same comments. Even the NB web site review of this shoe mentions the tongue on the 928V3.

I purchased these shoes (928v3s) as a potential remedy for plantar fasciitis after returning a pair of Kurus purchased for the same reason. While these shoes are very supportive and easy to walk in, they did not help my condition at all. Some other users have reported swift results using this shoe for the same medical problem. I wanted potential buyers to know the obvious, that these shoes, for that condition, are not for everybody. Otherwise, if you want a comfortable walking shoe with very firm heel support, these are worth a try. I am keeping mine for that purpose, walking.

Reasonably well-made shoes that fit my feet. That's the best I can say about New Balance offerings for 4E wide feet. I've been buying NB for years and settling for utilitarian style in the name of fit that doesn't hurt. New Balance needs to start offering their most stylish shoes in extra wide widths if you want more than 3 stars from me. I'm sick to death of boring, utilitarian shoes. I hate settling for nondescript, basic, safe designs. I bought these white shoes as a palette to create something with color and style on top of since you refuse to.

Fit was great. This shoe seems extremely well made. However I have a very high arch and the tung was too short. Dug into front of my ankle. Also this shoe was very stiff, would need to be broken in. Something I’ve never had to do with a tennis shoe.

I'm thinking this is the last time I purchase this shoe. The tongue is so short it is necessary to continuously pre-shape it to conform to foot. Alos the toe compartment has been downsized significantly over years of purchase. Disappointed to see New Balance dumb-down cheap-out design of what had been a great shoe to plain average shoe. Meanwhile seeking alternatives

Very nice workmanship on the leather uppers. The soles have a curious forward cant and collect too much street dirt for my liking but otherwise a nice shoe. Toe box is very roomy the way all NBs used to be.

Undecided about keeping the shoe since I really need an extra narrow size that does not appear to be available in this shoe.
