Looked to be the usual high standard NB quality, but unacceptably uncomfortable as the ankle relief was too high. Not much cushion in the soles either. Sent them back after 10 minutes.

These shoes are worn for general daily walkers. I have had Rock-ports, Nike's and the quality is hands down the best. I DID NOT Like the innersoles, They are not comfortable ! But I do have innersoles I prefer and have on hand to go inside them. I would like to see New Balance put the money into a better quality innersole and that would make this shoe perfect.

I have purchased several NB shoes in the past so I really looked forward to wearing these shoes for walking. I have used them for about 1.3 years and wanted to provide some feedback. First off, yes the tongue is too short. I saw this before purchasing the shoe but I did not think it would be an issue. However, having to adjust the tongue every time you put them on really does become a hassle. Upon receiving the shoe, I noticed what looked like a double stitch on one of the seams located on the top of the shoe. I did not think much of it at the time, but now that seam is coming apart. In general, I liked the shoe but for the cost, I would not take the chance of purchasing another pair.

Nice shoes. Good padding all around. There is one design problem: the tongue of the shoe is not long enough. When wearing them for a few hours, the tongue of the shoe creeps down below the top of the laces. Wonder why New Balance would approve a design that seems, to me at least, flawed.

Purchased for every day walking shoe. The quality of the leather and construction seems good but the fit was much smaller than the black version. They must be made on different last's. Don't understand why they make same the same version two different ways.

The tongue is too short to use all the eyelets. Not using all the eyelets means the shoe strings are too long. The shoe is heavier than any NB walking shoe I've used in 20+ years. NB designers are not listening.

The shoes are great and live up to the expectations, but ordering them and receive them was very upsetting., They say ship in 2-3 days after receiving order but mine were not shipped until 7-10 days after order was placed. All in all it took 2-3 weeks before I received the shoes. They were impossible to contact no phone # that I could actually speek to a person had to send email that no one ever responded to. Great shoes!!!!

Quite honestly I am going back to Brooks. I find they are a little more suited to my feet. Nothing wrong with the NB but sometimes the shoes just don't fit the feet.

This shoe has changed since I started buying it years ago. I used to buy a 2wide and now I bought the 6wide annd it is still snugg maybe because it is made in China. It is well made except for the size.

I work in sales and customer service. I'm always on my feet. The shoes are very comfortable and had to wash and reuse my old arch support insoles. This is because, New Balance does not produce top quality and comfortable arch support Insoles anymore!!

Unfortunately, we had to return these shoes because they didn’t provide the support that my husband needs.

I have probably ordered or bought through a store over 30 pair of these shoes since they came out. 4 to 5 times (even though I ordered two pair at a time) the shoe's fit differently. Sometimes one pair was perfect and the other pair seemed to be as much as a 1/2 size larger or smaller. I just ordered two pair within a week of each other and the first pair were perfect. I just got the second pair and they are a bit shorter and narrower than the one's received the week before. This is really the only shoe I wear as I have an artificial right ankle and the bottom right side will wear out quicker than usual. I most likely am sending the second pair back and then ordering another to see if I can find a match. I do not know why they would be different. Do you?

The tweaks made from V2 to V3 do not make my feet happy. I have been wearing these shoes since they first came out- and IMHO they should go back to V2. The heel cup isn't as stable on this version, and they seem a bit stiffer- but maybe after break in that will take care of itself. I actually had to return the mesh version (which I prefer) because there was too much slip at the heel. The other walker I wore regularly was the AISICS gel- but the higher end version has been discontinued. At least NB keeps making this shoe- even if this version is a big step backwards.

This was our last purchase from new balance. They are not an American made company.

product fits very well but I have not been able to eliminate them from squeaking. Maybe they are made that way to warn all the dogs in the neighborhood when the mailman is approaching.

This is a walking shoe? I would prefer more cushion from the ball of the foot to the toe. Great heel support and comfort there. The arch support is not as functional as on my other older NB shoes. Same comments made by others reviewing optional sole inserts. To thin.

I have purchased this shoe on several occasions first, second and now third version. Other reviews here and elsewhere faulted V3 because the tongue was too short. I didn't notice that at first, but after wearing them for several months I have to agree that the tongue is too short. As the shoe breaks in, the tongue position shifts. You wind up with the top lacing beyond the end of the tongue. This makes the shoes look cheap. I hope the manufacturer checks these reviews and corrects this problem.
