In the past, I was able to wear the 927's then the 928's and loved them, until they took away the soft area that gave room for my bunions. Such a disappointment! . I need the anti-pronation feature of the 928, and like leather so that I can wear them in a variety of situations. Running shoes are not great to wear with slacks. Please bring that soft area back to the 928.

I am so sorry! But these HAVE to be returned! I was so hoping these would be perfect! But, they are too short and too narrow! I have always known that NB runs small and accommodate for that. I ordered the same size I have been wearing for in NB for YEARS! I started with the NB926! They were PERFECT! NB927 were pretty good, too. All of the NB928s have been a complete DISASTER! ( This is my 3rd pair!) I thought, from the reviews, I would be getting back to the shoe that helped my poor old feet so very much. But, NO. I am devastated! I have ingrown toenails, hammer toes, Tailor Bunions, flat feet, and I over pronate. I see a podiatrist every 4 -8 weeks. NB926's and NB927's were such miracles to me! I am going to visit my (military) children and grandchildren in Europe and needed fresh new shoes for walking a LOT! These 928v3 actually HURT when I put them on. (They DO look nice, though!) I am so very sad and must search for a new brand to, hopefully, help my feet enjoy my trip and my work, which is 8+ hours of walking on concrete floors. I cannot begin to tell you how this saddens this loyal customer.

I got someone else's shoes and so I returned them. Than instead of having my order shipped to me I was told to reorder them. Well I don't think I want to do that. I still am waiting for my refund. I don't like the fact that I did not get what I originally ordered plus I had the trouble of getting a return address label plus I had to ship it back. I am a senior and I thought ordering on line would make my life easier. It didn't it complicated it.

The toe box is too small and I wore them twice before I realized they didn't give my fore foot enough room. I always wear NB and decided to try these as I thought they would be warmer. I should have sent them back before wearing. If you need room in the toe box don't buy these.

My shoes are to big and I've been trying to return them but I'm having trouble returning them

I ordered the same size shoe I always order, 7 1/2 WW. But this pair is at least a size larger than all my others. What on earth?

I bought these sneakers for work. I could not wear them. I found the fabric to be so hard not flexible at all. Felt like my feet were being punished and I hadn't even left the house. Very disappointed

The sneakers had an awful smell, like mildew. I sent them back and am waiting for my refund.

Way, way, way too wide for my feet. Returning and will try once more in a different style in Narrow. I've always worn a standard in Nike but my podiatrist was quite insistent that I need a New Balance walking shoe. Frankly, I have just about lost hope for my poor feet.

Have been wearing these sneakers for years. Having broken both ankles proper fit is a must. Spoke with the chat people so I could get the proper fit to accommodate the new medical brace I must wear. Told them the #'s on the tongue and all. Was informed what to get, waited the 6 days to receive them only to find out they were the same exact shoe and width (only 1 size bigger). Not what I asked for. Had to return them to the UPS store and reorder so it took another 6 days. Normally it would be fine but when you have to build up the time wearing the brace because of an upcoming doctors appointment timing is everything. Brace adjustments all have to be worked out and when the shoes don't work it slows the whole process down and painful.

The shoe was very stiff, and hard insoles. Not conducive to walking IMO. I returned them and that process was easy, haven't seen the refund as yet

Top edge of innersole is not tapered - rubs side of foot. Tight pattern on sole traps grit.

They run way smaller and tighter than described in sizing chart.

These are the worse New Balance shoe I ever bought let alone they look like combat boots! Don't waste your money! Not comfortable @all!

Good for custom orthotics and good heel support; however, for me, the only thing this shoe is good for is power walking on flat pavement. The soles are too high and inflexible. Rough terrain can twist my ankles and I lose my balance.

I need good support and a wider toy box and Im getting a wider shoe it feels like as the shoe wears down I'll slip and slide in it.

The width and the overall fit was not good. Also, the look was not stylish, but I did purchase the the shoe fir comfort etc. and not not style.

I wore these w928 every day for many years then couldn't get any during the pandemic until March or April this year 2022. I ordered a womens size 12 that always fit me perfect but was too small !

I have worn the 1540v3 in 6 4E for years but this style narrows at the toe box and didn't fit me. Will return it.

They stated the shoes were skid proof that's not true

If your foot is shaped like a long tube or pencil, and you like a tight cramped toe box, this is the shoe for you. I need a roomy toe box. My foot is wider at the top and normal around the mid-foot and ankle. I can't wear shoes that cramp the toes with a tongue so short it keeps sliding under the laces. Too bad NB doesn't make this for a normal shaped foot. I like the support. That's the only reason I decided to try the 928. And I tried it in different sizes and widths. None worked. I gave up. I can't wear this submarine-shaped shoe. Poorly designed fit, not anatomically correct.
