The padding on the back of the right foot heel collar/heel counter is more delicate than I was expecting and is broken after only a week. I was careless and put on my shoes a couple of times without loosening the laces enough all the way. All the padding got smushed down beneath the fabric lining and it never bounced back. So now the collar is too loose and the back is gappy. The left shoe is still okay.

Nice shoes, but I had to return them. Really too big ! Almost an each in front of my big toe ! I already wear a New Balance Hard Court tennis shoe, size 10,5 Wide, and ordered the same size for the Suede 928v3, but it was way too long and too wide. A bit annoying that the size from a model to another has not the same fit. Otherwise, thanks to New Balance to produce shoes that fit difficult feet !

This pair of shoes felt rather stiff and bulky. It looked a bit clumsy on my foot. There was plenty of support and the wider width was fine. Unfortunately, I have to return them because every time I tried them on, my right big toe went numb. I tried them on with and without the insole and found that the footbed was not flat. It seemed to go down where the big toe would sit. Too bad. Must be a flaw in the manufacturing of this pair of shoes.

I relied on the reviews for this shoe and thought it would be a good option, but it's very stiff, not stylish and actually hurts my left foot (probably should have gotten a wider width). I am in the process of stretching the left show and will wear them again to see if the leather loosens a bit. I hope it improves with time because they were pricey .

When I called to ask about this shoe, I was told it was made in America. When it arrived, I saw that it was not. As for the shoes, they are fine albeit a little tight. Hopefully, they stretch out some.

Received the shoes on 8/11. They were beautiful, but as soon as I saw them, I noticed they were not my size. The box had the correct size, but inside was another thing. It was the size for the UK, not USA. I returned it within 10 minutes of receiving it. They received it on 8/13. I had to wait 10 more business days until the credit card showed it was received, Frustrating, as I had hoped to purchase a replacement immediately.
I called customer service. They were great! Plan to purchase another pair after the credit card company removes the charge.
I finally received notification that the return was processed. I will order another pair after I see the return is finalized on the statement, and hope the size is correct this time.

I returned the shoes as they did not feel as comfortable as my new 928v2 suede shoes. The left shoe on the outside of my foot just before the toes (no, I do not have bunions) hurt me. In addition I do not like the color. I will try to find a pair of 928v2 in white leather and hope that works.
I am not sure about the overall fit.

The shoelaces were too short. I wanted to be able to use all the eyelets to lace up my shoes. I called customer service to complain about it, but they were no help whatsoever. The customer service representative said that all I could do was to order longer shoelaces and pay for them myself. I thought that was ridiculous considering the high price of these shoes.

I have been buying NB for years; this is the first time I felt the sizing was off. Too narrow by a long shot.

I know there are lots of problems out there and sometimes we have to make fun of it all.
Last pair where much too big. This time the tongue of one shoe is shorter then the other.
Must be shoe virus going on too.

These are possibly the worst shoes New Balance shoes I've ever ordered (in nearly 10 years of ordering). As one reviewer said here, it's like these shoes are made of steel - they are stiff beyond stiff, inflexible in both sole and top, and heavy. Because of the stiffness my high arches were pressed down. I order a pair of New Balance every year and this one was a big disappointment. I tried to make it work - thinking they just needed to be broken in. After a few months of zero comport I finally caved and purchased a different model of New Balance. Also the color is a weird taupe/grey mix.

Shoe was too big, even with an orthotic in it. Width was good, but length was too long. Also-no arch support.

While this model of New Balance looks good on the outside, if you have sensitive feet, as I do, it's not for you.
The mesh on the outside is ALSO on the INSIDE, therefore rubbing on the top of your foot as you walk.
So much that it severely scratches your foot sometimes to the point of causing them to bleed.
As for me, I still prefer the "old foot friendly New Balance shoe" that sadly no longer exists.
If you do not have sensitive feet, I recommend this shoe.

I ordered these sneakers in white they fit great. When I went to tie the shoe laces the tongue part that you pull down was very very short. I sent them back this is unacceptable. Very disappointed in how they are made. Please correct this matter immediately.

Have worn the 847 for years and years. But now the 847 has a mesh top. Wrong. Not for me in winter. Now, this shoe, the 928 (suggested by NB staff) in the toe box is too tight, and uses the same shoe last as the 847.. Have returned the shoes. I love New Balance, but am disappointed in the change of the 847 shoe. I used to not even have to hesitate, but now ....? Very disappointing.

Good sneaker but found it at a much better price through another business. I gave New Balance a chance to match that price, but they opted not to do so. I am in the process of doing a return now.

I bought and returned the WW928v3 Navy/Grey suede in 7W. I found it to be stiff and with very little give. Uncomfortable. The toe area needed to be wider for my comfort level. The New Balance shoes I've bought in the past were wide, comfortable and supportive. Can't find that anymore.

I tried both the 8.5(2E) and 8.5(4E). The shoe did not feel comfortable, and would need to be worn for awhile to "break in", also, while the 4E was wider than the 2E, it was actually shorter in length and instep height, making the shoe feel smaller than the 2E. All in all, not a comfortable shoe and not something I would personally recommend.

Have never seen a shoe run so small. I buy 11 womens because I need to put rather thick orthotics in there. Had to squeeze my foot in when I put them in. (I do take out the liner) With every other mfg the 11's are super roomy but my big toe was touching the front in these. I ordered an 11med and 11 wide but really couldn't tell much of a difference. I ordered a 12 for my DH and same thing; was a full size smaller probably...very tight. Guess I'll stick with the Saucony's.

I spent lots of money on these shoes, and when I first tried them on, they felt good, but after wearing them a half hour, I felt like I was walking on blocks
of wood. Unfortunately, since I have worn them, they can not be returned. I would not recommend these to anybody.

I have been a NB customer for years. Have loved all the shoes I bought with the exception of this one. I was recommended by the store clerk to buy this as I needed a good walking shoes with orthotic support. However, I can barely walk without experiencing discomfort and pain as the shoes are very heavy. I feel I wasted a lot of money on a pair I can't wear. Have worn it for maybe 10 times.

I am 90 years old and have problem feet. My foot Dr. recommended New Balance, which I had, so I now have 3 pair in a larger size. I was looking for a beige -tan color and this looks greige. Also sneakers are quite heavy . You really need to make more tan colored sneakers to wear with yellow, chinos, greens and turquoise. Sorry but pink, mauve and "Hot" colors don't look good to me. The foam sneakers are much lighter on the feet. I have several pair of them but I am missing tan.The 1080 foam series are the best for me, I love the black ones especially as they are only black and white, not some garish color. They are the most comfortable I had navy, but the loud pink was unattractive to me and now I have to go up a size so I can't wear them . I am looking for a navy replacement also .
