Very heavy pair of shoes

My left foot is a half size larger than my right. However, with this shoe the left foot felt OK but the right foot fell too large. Even the shoe looked a bit longer than the left one. Both tags had the same size listed. The style was......meh. The color was very bland. Might like it better in a navy or black/white combo. Also I need a neutral support and this shoe didn't fit the bill.

Disappointed. I have purchased New Balance shoes for years because I need a narrow shoe. I tried this looking for better arch support.This was the first time a narrow NB shoe actually pinched my foot. I also found it more rigid than is good for walking. I am returning them.

Too wide. My feet do run on the narrow side but I used to be able to get a great fit with NB. The length was good (8.5, my usual). The arch support was okay, but even with the laces cranked up pretty good my foot was sliding around in the shoe. Bummer. Back it goes.

Didnt feel like an EE width and the roller bar was very hard and noticeable. The colors are nice though.

These seem well made but there's no arch support at all. And they were not wide enough for me and I ordered my normal double width.

The size was right but the shoe slipped up and down on my heels. Too clunky and heavy for me.

These need to be ordered at least a half size or possibly a full size larger than other shoes. Disappointing, because otherwise lie the shoe very much.

Too heavy a shoe for me. I prefer a lighter shoe.

The fit was fine and they felt comfortable but they didn't "roll" with my stride. I wore them all day indoors and at the end of the day had to take them off due to discomfort in my lower back.

This New Balance style, in and of itself, is very good, BUT the pair I received had been worn :(. Therefore, I am returning this pair to Zappos, from which I ordered them.

I love NB. I've had multiple pairs over the years. I have a pair of these shoes (928) in 6.5B for walking and they're wonderful but have to wear very thin socks. I wanted to try 6.5D for more room. This shoe is stiff, not much insole padding or arch support, feels like a box. Disappointed, sending back, but will keep trying.

Nice shoe but too big for me and they were out of the next smaller size.

I must return them; although regretfully. The right one is just a bit too short; I wear orthopedic inserts over the shoe inserts so I have to compensate. Also, they are very heavy. The leather certainly would be durable and wouldn't wear out!

It felt like I was wearing Big Foot's sneakers. Definitely not for me. Returned.

I liked the shoes but after one day of wear they left an open sore on my toe. I have to return them, unfortunately.

Good idea for a design that's easier to use than laces, but it could use another strap for a better fit and support. I trimmed off the excess straps at the reinforced places so they wouldn't stick out. The comfort is far below what the 928 used to have, feels like walking on cardboard and needs more cushioning. They are durable and hold up well with the tongue being leather, but more fabric and mesh are replacing parts of the uppers, which make it difficult to keep clean. The sizing has always been accurate, and the roomy toebox is better than most of the other brands. I still can find these in narrow width, but not at every store. The price has gone up, but without improving the shoe. I usually replace the round laces with flat ones that stay tied better. Also use waterproofing products to protect the leather, like mink oil.
