I have bought at least half a dozen pair of this particular NB sneaker over the years because they fit my wide foot so well, while also providing the arch support I need. This would be my usual five-stars for the product but the pair I just received, white ones, seems a bit shorter and tighter than previously. Perhaps just a glitch with this one, but hopefully NB will look into whether there's been a change in manufacuring.

I wanted comfortable shoes for walking around the neighborhood, and these shoes fit the bill perfectly. They have nice padding, and my feet still feel great after a four mile walk on sidewalks. They run bigger than other walking or hiking shoes I have purchased from New Balance, especially across the instep. I could have gone down a half size (I usually wear 7 1/2 D) Since I use a orthotics, that was not a problem for me. I think it could be a problem, though, for someone with narrower feet.

These shoes accommodate my foot issues (arthritis + bunion) well. I bought a size wider than I normally would based on comments this shoe runs narrow and the fit is good. In the extra wide, at least, the toe box is wide and almost square.

They're wall-made, comfortable and they were easy to purchase. They do run small, though. I'll buy them again.

It's a beautiful shoe, but they were too narrow and I had to return them. I don't think a larger size would fix this. Additional information on the width of these shoes would be a big help.

Had this shoe in black for 2 yrs and LOVED it. I recently ordered it in the gray and found it too big, especially in the heel. What a disappointment. Been wearing nothing but New Balance shoes for at least 20 years and never had a problem till now. Ended up getting another style (813), same size, and it fits great. I am still loyal to NB but be careful about the fit if it has been more than a year since original order.

These are really comfy! I am on my feet all day at work and need to wear orthotics so these are perfect with black pants. I've had this style before and just wanted to update.

My orthotics fit nice in these and I can wear them all day and evening with no pain. Great shoes, on my 3rd pair.

These new balance 928v3 walking shoes fit great. Loved that they came in black, had my size (10 1/2) for ladies and were made of leather. They felt sturdy and comfortable in the carpeted store. At first I thought they needed to be broken in for walking on the pavement, but finally had to put padding in as my feet began to hurt. I was told I have flat feet, but never had a problem with my feet hurting during long walks before. For the price I paid, I feel they skippered on the padding.

I have a hard to fit shoe size. Not just a wide but an extra wide foot. New Balance designed this in their walking shoe. Gives me the balance I need. The comfort and support but also looks pretty good without looking awkward in a 4E. I wish more shoe companies made the effort New Balance does for people who need a hint more room in the toe box of their shoes for people like myself.

Very comfortable and supportive, if a little stiff in terms of flexibility. Solid shoe, Ould use additional art support, but that's me, very high arches.

Use this as a every day shoe. Fits well at the instep and ball but could have a narrower heal.

I have been wearing this exact shoe for over 5 years (with the same type of sock). I ordered the size I had been wearing, and it was too short. I returned it, ordered half a size up, and it's pretty good now, although I would be happier if it were a quarter size bigger! The reason I really like this shoe is that is comes in a narrow width, a difficult thing to find in an athletic shoe.

I have purchased New Balance for many years. Now it is very good that some styles are offered in wider widths 2E and 4E as many people have widths beyond medium. For women, it would be good to also have 4 and 4 1/2 available, and in wider widths, too! When shoes can be made to each individual foot, that would be really great!!!

I walk 2 miles or more 6-7 days a week, at a moderate to brisk pace. I have 2E (extra-wide) feet, very high arches, and wear orthotics. These shoes are comfortable, accommodate my orthotics, and feel stable for my supinating gait. They are also deep enough to fit an additional store-bought flat foam insole for a little extra cushioning. They are definitely clunky and "orthopedic-shoe" looking, but do satisfy my needs for my exercise routine.

This is my 3rd pair of New Balance with the roll bar feature. I can wear them all day & have no pain at the end of the day. This pair I just bought doesn't have the breathable fabric, hopefully my white socks will stay whiter.

I love my new pairs of these shoes, in both white and black. I wish the small amounts of mesh had a dirt-resistant coating.

The toe box was a lot more narrow and shorter than new balance 847s. My toes kept rubbing against the front even though I have the exact same size and width in other New balance shoes.

Good narrow walking shoes. However, toe/ball of foot is wide for a narrow shoe. I use orthotics for better support.

Good fit for my weird feet, except maybe I tend to walk on the outside of my feet a bit too much in them.
I'd also recommend:
I've only worn New Balance for years, at my podiatrists recommendation to wear any NB above 845.

This is the first black pair of this shoe I have purchased. I have a pair of beige ones that I have worn for several years. I like the stabilizer and the cushioning. I am not excited about solid black but there is a limited color selection. I bought another beige pair as well. I did not see them on sale.

I wear them for my work in hospital environment. I am on my feet all day. They are comfortable. My feet do not perspire in the shoe coverings that I must wear all day.

I like everything about these shoes except for the weight. They are very, very heavy. I'm still breaking them in, but they are comfortable.

Disclaimer: the following is not the fault of the show, company, manufactures or any affiliates. Two and a half weeks later, I am still suffering rear-end and low back pain from a horrific slip and fall on slick rain. These shoes are great ankle and arch support and stop my rolling tendencies. But they truly need a tread update. 100% will buy again and again. Just do something about that tread.
