Feels too hard, narrow toe box for a 4e shoe and narrow forefoot. Returning. Feels and looks too big.

These were literally two different shoe sizes, although marked as the same. The right shoe fit great! I could not get my foot in the left shoe. Keep in mind I ordered three other pairs with this one, all the same sizes, and the others fit fine. NB used to be my go to shoe. Quality is, down.

VERY disappointed in the fit of these sneakers! This is the 2nd pair in a row that have not fit. My feet are so bad after surgery that these have been the only foot wear I can wear. I don't know what I will do now that they are being made differently!!!!! HELP

How do I make a return when I no longer have the original box? These are just too short and I must wear Brooks only. May I exchange them for a pair of Brooks? This is not a review but I need customer help. Please advise. Thank you kindly,

Same size as my other NB shoes, but much smaller. Front is narrower and shallower. Disappointing.

I have other 928v3 shoes. These are significantly smaller. I think I need 1 size larger than I have ever purchased in shoe.

No matter how I tied it, my foot still slipped out of the shoes in the heel area. The shoes are too shallow. Also, THE TONGUE . . . why can't New Balance put a decent length tongue in this shoe??? It is skimpy and will not stay under the laces. It slides around, then bunches up under the laces and can't be pulled out since you can't even grab it with your fingers because it's disappeared under the laces! This shoe has major design flaws. Great support, terrible fit.

I have been wearing this particular shoe for many years. The quality of the shoe has really gone down. This last pair was not the width it said it was. It also has been very difficult to get my particular size. I am returning the shoes in hopes the next pair is better. Until this last time these are the only shoes I can wear that don't hurt my feet.

I've always boughten these shoes as I'm a care aide and work 12 hour shifts plus I have club feet. This last pair I ordered were very uncomfortable and I'm still trying to break them in. Very expensive for something that hurts your feet.

This shoe hurt my foot. The insole felt non-existent. It rubbed the top of my foot. The shoe was very hard and stiff around my ankle bone on both shoes, to the point it felt bruised. I tried to get used to it for 2 days and I just couldnt take the pain. I returned the shoe back to the store.

I have bought roll bar shoes from new balance for 10 years, this pair is so bad I can not wear them to work! I'm so disappointed.

WORST FITTING SHOE EVER. I tried this in 3 different sizes/widths. I really wanted to like this shoe because it has a rollbar and is made well of long lasting pigskin leather. NONE of the 3 fit. Ordered: 1) My normal size 6 M, too short & too narrow. 2) 6.5 Wide, too huge all over, heel slipped. 3) 6.5 M, still too tight in toe box, too narrow all over and left 1/2 in gap in back behind heel, because 6 is the right fit for me, not 6.5 but thought I'd try. I have an AVERAGE size foot, medium width, nothing unusual! But this shoe is made extremely narrow and short. I'll go back to my NB 993 -- the most comfortable and supportive shoe I've ever worn. It is actually sized CORRECTLY.

Ordered this in my regular 6M size -- way too tight in toebox, even without socks. And at least 1/2 size too short. So I returned and ordered 6W and 1/2 size up. Wide feels good in toebox but is too big everywhere else. Heel area does not hold my now and it slips. And the tongue is way too short! It slips under the sides of the shoe and under the laces. So disappointed. I wanted a rollbar shoe and the 928 is recommended by podiatrists, but it is not sized correctly. Too narrow, too short in length and too short tongue. I'm sticking with my New Balance 993(s) -- fantastic shoe, sized correctly, supportive and comfortable. Might give the 990v5 a try, but the 990v4 was too narrow in toe box in Med size and too big all over in Wide. The 993 fits me perfectly. Hope they never stop making it.

I am amazed at how cheapened these shoes are now. The tongue is way too short. There is no cushioning in the bottom from heel to forefoot. The leather (I am not sure it is leather!) feels like plastic. This shoe is way too small and very uncomfortable. I just am so disappointed in New Balance and Brooks also. Both manufacturers have ruined their shoes..limited support, no padding and just uncomfortable all around. What are we suppose to do when we have counted on them to produce shoes that fit?!!!! Thank goodness for Zappos letting me return way too many shoes and I apologize for it as I wish I could keep them all but they do not work!

What happened to new balance???
These shoes are like walking on cement. The tongue is way too short. The sizing/fit is very uncomfortable. What are we to do when they keep cheapening these shoes?!!! Don’t buy them you will be disappointed.

I really needed a solid walking shoe so I paid top dollar for these. Had to resort to mostly wearing my old Brooks because these walkers were hard to walk on, not roomy and short for their size. I finally decided to call customer service about it and was told, "there is nothing we can do for you because it already 1 month pass the return date". I was not offered any help, no recommendation was given. I was pretty shocked by that because it was a different experience than in previous years. I purchased New Balance for my family since my kids were little and they are recent college grads. I wasted a lot of money on these shoes and I'm not a satisfied customer. The shoes are not usable.

I have been wearing Walking shoes: Leather 928v3, Width: XX-Wide - 4 E for over 10 years and have never had problems before. I have bought two pairs of these same shoes each year for 10 years.
But I am disappointed about this pair (ORDER # NSE959053 ). and it has made my feet hurtful. The stitch lines are so tight and make these shoes so squeezed and narrow. It is supposed to xx wide, but it is not wide at all. I even could not put my feet into it.

Does ANYONE make genuine leather shoes anymore? I understood the ad to mean genuine leather, not the AWFUL FAUX LEATHERwhich doesn't breathe and lets off toxins! Sent them right back without even trying them on!

Both the length and width were fine. The cut/shape of the sole caused knees and back to hurt. It just was not the right shoe for me. The 847 style is a better one in my case.

I would like to return my gym shoes. I purchased the 928v3 for ankle support due to surgery of right ankle. My ankle is supported however I can not stand or walk in these gym shoes longer than 30 minutes due to my feet being in excruciating pain. I have a heating pad on my foot due to pain from wearing the gym shoes throughout the day. Great support for ankles but the comfort level needs improvement.

Cheaper materials, shallow fit, lacks cushioning. No longer a sturdy shoe. I've worn New Balance walking shoes for over fifteen years, and have watched the quality decline. I needed a new pair of leather walkers, but reluctant to do a lot of shopping in the pandemic. I need the rollbar, but can't even tell if that's effective on the new pair. They hurt my back. I disliked version 2, but at 3 or 4 years old, that pair has held up. I don't think the new pair will make it a full year.
