I debated whether to keep these. The toe box was perfect, but the top part of the heel rubbed on one foot. Tried tightening the strap but, alas, no improvement. Back they go.

The left shoe made clicking sound while walking. It appears the left shoe is wider in the toe area than that of the right shoe. I have an identical pair in navy and they fit fine. I would consider ordering the same black shoe again if I knew I would receive a different pair in the same size.

I’m getting fed up with Dansko sizing. Very inconsistent and inconvenient. Thank goodness Zappos has free returns

There was an error in the order. The box said Size 37, but both shoes inside were Size 38. Other than that, the shoe was amazing. High quality leather. Good slope and not too tall. Great arch support and cushion. Worth the money! I had to return the shoe because of the size error, but the shoe itself was perfect. Great for a full day of work and very professional. For someone with a high arch, wide foot, narrow heel, struggles with plantar fasciitis, I will be buying more Dansko again!

Cute shoes. Fairly comfortable. But for the price I expected them to be a bit more comfortable.

This shoe is just ok. I wear a 9 and ordered 39 & 40. The 39 was too snug in toe box while the 40 has plenty of room for toes.

This is a good looking shoe but it runs big. Size down at least a half size. Well made.

I'm so sad these did not work for me. I have a narrow heel and they slide up and down when I walk. I've tried every insert known to mankind (heel grippers, heel risers, insoles, half insoles) and nothing helps. Otherwise they were very comfortable.

I wear a 40 in Dansko clogs but need a 39 in the Fawna.

cute style for a shoe that is wide and needs to provide support. would like more arch support and the edge for the instep is borderline cutting into foot. hoping that it will loosen up as I wear them. nice and wide toe box, so I could wear a true size as opposed to having to size up to gain width.

I have been wanting a pair of Dansko's for years. They were always too narrow or too tight. I received these today and they feel good. I am going to wear them around my apartment and see if they continue to feel good. It wont be the same as standing my feet all day when I am in the classroom but I hope I can keep them.

The Velcro wore out before the shoe

I was hesitant to order this style being over 60 yrs. it also appeared to have a little higher heel. Upon receiving them they are classy looking. I tried my best to wear them, unfortunately they were too small in the toe box. While I was walking the heel felt like I was wearing well supported flats. They are the best looking shoe I have had on in many years. I had purchased the largest size so nothing else to do but return. The strap has been placed very well. Instead of giving your foot a cut off look it showed your ankles at their best. If your on the fence try these they are such a comfortable shoe and a great style. This was the first time I've tied European sizing.

Haven’t worn yet but tried on- cute style and color, easy to put on with Velcro adjustable closure. Nice red color, a few small scratches but to be expected with this kind of leather

Lovely shade of red. The shoes are reasonably comfortable but the top tends to cut into your ankle when walking any distance. I had to take the strap up to make the shoes tight enough as they seem a little wide which may be cause of the ankle rubbing. I am going to keep these shoes because they are only red shoes with a low heel I could find. I generally buy Ecco to Dansko and wear a 37 and have for years. While I love the color they are a little clunky looking but go well with the outfit I need them for so I am happy. Would have liked a slightly more dressy shoe but was unable to find one in red. Since it is Dansko I know it will last and give me good arch support which is essential.

Quality shoe, and classic style. I was pleased to find the depth of the shoe allowed me to wear my custom orthotic which typically doesn't happen with a dressier shoe. Comfort was decent, but not the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I will attribute that to the feet problem I have, but I would still recommend this shoe overall.

Love Dansko's usually. I realized after receiving it I actually have this shoe but in taller clunkier heel - maybe that's why I chose it since the taller one I find a little too clunky to pair with skirts easily. Was hoping this would fit the bill but the profile isn't quite right. Maybe if they had cut the heel a little more separate from the rest of the base it would look more like a proper pump-sort of Mary Jane but still with the good Dansko support. But I guess the shoe is just too low for that. Unfortunately going back.

Looking for travel shoes: I ordered a size larger than normal, thinking I wanted more room for socks and be able to spread my toes out while walking. These ran a bit larger than what I generally order from Dansko. I think the 35 would probably have worked but I wasn't too pleased with the style.

These were cute but too narrow for me. I do not have a wide foot but they just didn't hit me in the right places.

These are the perfect pair of everyday Mary Janes. I'm a 39 in Dansko and they fit perfectly. I took off one star because they rubbed a couple spots on my feet until I broke them in a little, but now that's resolved and they're great. I like that they have a slight heel but not a big one, and I love the Velcro instead of a small buckle I have to wrestle with. (I'm a little concerned about the Velcro wearing out, but we'll see.) Super comfortable, supportive, and cute.

Just a bit snug- since dansko's come in one width only, it's hit or miss for me. When they fit, they are wonderful, supportive, nearly indestructible shoes. I'll try one size up and hope for a good fit. They look very nice, Not clunky like most Dansko's.

Ordered these in a 8W and felt fine width-wise across my toes. However, my left foot rubbed against the front edge whenever I took a step, especially the tendons of my big toe and pinky toe. I like the convenience of the velcro straps and I thought the style looked really old-woman at first (esp for a 24yo) but it looks cute with the right outfits.

I’m happy with these shoes. I’m always a 37 in Danskos (7 in street shoes, 7.5 in athletic shoes) and these feel TTS. They are comfortable. I was hesitant about the Velcro strap, but you cannot tell it’s Velcro and it stays securely fastened. They look better on than in the box. For a comfort shoe, they are a good pick.

I have problem feet and Danskos have been good to me in the past. I have owned many pairs of various styles of Dansko shoes over the years. I got these hoping for a cuter look I could wear to the office. I thought they were okay, and gave them a try, but realized too late that my feet swell a bit near the front, top edge, and it gets uncomfortably tight as the day wears on. Unfortunately, I had to wear them outside for a day to find this out, so I could not return. I have noticed some inconsistency with Dansko sizing lately, so it is a good idea to give the shoes a good try out at home before making final decisions.
