These shoes fit perfect. I bought three pairs of shoes. The Naot Rahina were too small and two narrow. The Joseph Seibel Cara were too narrow. The Dansko Fawna has a great bit of height for my Achilles Tendon, they are wide enough for my wide feet and there is enough room in the toe area for my hammer toes. They are a little plain but the comfort is wonderful.

My foot has a hammer toe on right side and the shoe toe crunched my toes on that side. I would have had blisters had I continued wearing. The shoes were not as comfortable as had hoped. I wear a 7.5 regular and ordered 37 European size. No slippage on heel and shoe fit pretty good.

I love this shoe and am only returning because the left toe of the chestnut color was scuffed on top. I returned both the chestnut and the navy because I was concerned the shoes would look scuffed all the time. I liked this shoe so much I may decide to give it another try. Zappos has the best customer service...they are so quick with delivery and return refunds. I gave this a shoe a four star because of the scuff marks.

Nice shoes, well-made, but the toe box too short or just not high enough—the shoe hits the tops of my big toes uncomfortably. I normally wear a size 6, and these fit otherwise, but I know they would not have worked, had to sadly send them back.

I ordered these in the hopes that my bad feet would be happy in these shoes. I have to have a wide width and these were plenty wide as far as the platform of the shoe, but they gapped quite a bit elsewhere. I'm not crazy about the style but I think for a comfort-type shoe they would be fine. Wish they'd worked, but back they go. . .thank goodness for Zappos and they're awesome return policy.

Have not worn yet, but seem to be very comfortable. Was surprised to see the velcro straps, and worry for its strength a bit... Hope it will last as well as I was told by customer service reps!

The Dankso Fawna is listed as EUR 42 but equaling size 11.5-12. I'm usually a size 12, EUR 43, but decided to take a chance. The shoe is very cute but just too small for my foot - snug all around (toes/width). Had to return and the shoe isn't available in a 43 so going with Aravon Portia.

I have ball of he foot pain and putting the pad in toe area made the shoe to tight. I really wanted to keep this shoe but I need a little more room.

Comfortable shoe with better arch support than the Dansko clog. Slightly small; I ordered the size that compared to my US size with a half-size range, but these just fit. I couldn't be a half size larger and wear them. Overall very happy with this purchase.

This is a useful and cute shoe, but even buying a size up from my usual, it was tight. It needs a very thin sock.

These are generally what you would expect out of Dansko in terms of comfort and high quality. However, the toe box seems smaller than all other Danskos that I have (either that or the shoe is shorter, but I'm pretty sure it is the toe box). I'm making due but won't buy the Fawna again for that reason. Also, they are attractive enough for work, but they are not super-cute. I got them mainly because I needed an updated Mary Jane with lowish heels, and this seemed to be the best option.

Really wanted these to work. Unlike most other dansko flats, these had enough room for my wider toes. Unfortunately the toe box is to shallow for my (admittedly large) big toes, and I don’t think I can live with the pressure on my toenails. I hope dansko increase the toe box height on future versions! Then there will finally be a cute dansko flat for the ‘duck-footed’ ladies! I usually wear 7.5-8 wide and 38 fit well otherwise.

These have very little support compared to other Dansko shoes. Love the style and color. They are comfortable but I need a bit more support.

Not sure what was wrong with my initial review so this is all you get this time. I have found returns are not al slick and easy as advertised.

I am on my feet for most of the day and these shoes provide comfort. I think they pair well with my dress slacks. I loved the black so much I thought I'd get the brown, but the color was awful. It looked like the leather was stained or wet. I did not like this style at all. If they carried this shoe in solid colors, I would but multiple pairs.

These are really comfortable. The only reason I didn't give them 4 stars is that they kind of look like old lady shoes when on my feet. My retired mother really likes them... that should tell you something- (sorry, Mom.) I've got a troubled foot- had surgery to remove a sesamoid bone- so finding comfortable shoes for work is a trial and tribulation. These feel just right and don't pinch or rub. The interior is really soft and smooth leather. The arch support is not very noticeable, so low arches shouldn't have a problem with it being too high. I originally ordered the navy, but it was so dark it looked black almost, so I sent them back for black ones. I ended up sizing down to wear them barefoot or with thin nylons. I wear an 8 in heels and the 38 was the right size for me.

Dansko has always been my go to shoe for shoe comfort. This shoe did not disappoint. They feel like slippers but with arch support. Very comfortable shoe. I have only worn with pants and looks great.

These were super comfortable! I ultimately returned them because I didn't think they looked cute on my feet.

I really like these shoes. I could use a little more arch support, and I would like it if the leather were a little bit softer. But I am very happy with these.

It's so hard for us women who have large feet and foot problems. So for those of you searching for pumps, I offer this comparison of three styles I just tried. I wear 11 wide or 42 normally and have multiple foot problems. I typically buy only orthopedic shoes or use orthopedic inserts. First, Taos Footwear Virtue size 11 W: Nice looking and stylish, can be worn as both dressy and dressy casual. Maybe a little more on the casual side because of the stitching, which does however add style. Not at all grandmotherly, made my feet look smaller. True to size, stays on, not constricting in the toes or bunion areas. They were comfortable out of the box and quite comfortable to walk in, feeling nicely padded under the feet. I may have to add metatarsal pads to ensure they will be comfortable for a few hours, but I keep a supply of those. Kept, and delighted with them! Taupe Oiled Leather was a pretty medium taupe. Second, Dansko Fawna 41 Regular: Although I usually buy size 42 in foreign-made shoes, Danski/Zappos recommended a 41 regular in these for me and that is what I tried. Also quite good looking and the most comfortable of the lot. Very cushy. The fit was very good, but it did pull a little over my right big toe joint. I do have a fairly small bunion on that foot, so if I had it removed, this would have been a dynamite shoe. As is today, I don't take chances on tightness in that area so they were returned. The fit was so good I know the 42 would have been too big. I agree with the reviewer who said the Chocolate Burnished Nappa is a darkish brown, not at all like the taupe color shown in the picture. AND the burnishing on the toes made that look black, not a good look for a dressy shoe. Third, SAS Milano 11 Wide: Very good looking shoe but a terror for those of us with problem feet. They fit fine but felt like concrete on the ball of the foot. Not that there wasn't padding, but in-motion all the weight went to the ball and they felt like boxes. Won't try another of this brand again. Tried black.

Way too clunky for me but- wow- the usual Dansko comfort out the wazoo. I just can’t see myself wearing them out in public - made me feel oafish. Sorry... because boy are they comfortable.

These are wonderfully comfortable shoes and even cuter in person than in the photos. I was loathe to return them. I found a similar pair of Danskos that I thought would be more suitable for work.

Nice shoe! Not wide enough for my foot. The edge of the front cut across the end of my instep.

Love these shoes so much I'm keeping them - despite the fact that the strap is too short for my high instep and the velcro shows a bit where the strap hits the shoe. Taking them to our awesome cobbler to insert elastic on the interior of strap (really Dansko. Could you not do this for us? Clark, Mephisto and Josef Siebel all do!) But the foot bed is so comfortable. The size fit perfectly (8M for a wide foot) and the style is perfect. Worth the extra effort.
