Very nice and comfortable shoes, especially if you have problem feet like mine. They visually slim down your feet, which is nice. The quality of the leather, liner, marksmanship is outstanding. They are pretty expensive but I am keeping them.

Fits great, looks professional and appropriate for more formal wear occasions and I can stand on my feet all day without pain. Totally recommend.

Great stability and support without looking too frumpy.

I've always been a fan of Danskos, and have been waiting for a mary jane style shoe with a higher vamp. This is it! I have a wide forefoot with bunionettes and the toebox on these is wide enough to accommodate my feet with no squeezing or pinching. I like that the closure is actually velcro, as I find that far more adjustable. The heel is the perfect height for everyday wear, and the footbed is cushy and supportive. I purchased the shoe in Navy, and while it IS navy, it's so dark as to appear nearly black. That works great for me, as I'd hoped to wear this shoe with both black and navy outfits. I would recommend this shoe to people with a wide forefoot, who want an office-appropriate shoe that's more comfortable than a flat but not a heel.

I love this shoe! I had bought it a couple of years ago (I think they changed the name, but it's the same shoe) and I wore it ALL THE TIME. Now I've got the Fawna and I wear them ALL THE TIME! Such a versatile look! I've worn them with dresses, capris, dress slacks, shorts. . . the list goes on. The fit is wonderful, and they are SO comfortable from the get-go. I absolutely recommend this shoe!

Was skeptical about the burnished look on the chocolate colored shoe but it really looks nice on. Too bad for me that it's too snug in the toe box. I have a small bunion on one foot so sadly these won't work. Oddly, I also ordered these in black, and that pair seems to have more room in the toe box - still deciding on the black ones. I wish the heel was a little smaller, maybe 1 1/4. I'm a size 37, usually I'm a 6.5 or 7, narrow ankles, regular width foot.

These shoes are fantastic. They are the right combination of dressy and practical. I love the low heal and the crisscross design in the front. Hopefully the velcro will last a good long time. I wore them to a wedding straight out of the box (after a quick check to make sure they fit). I'm very happy. And yes, I received compliments. Granted, I'm part of the over-60 crew, but my years of yoga has had me in wider toe, low heal shoes for years now. Thank you, Dansko!

I love this shoes, unfortunately I have freakishly large big toes, so they didn't work for me, I will have to keep searching. Very cute and comfortable.

These aren't your typical Danskos-- they have a much more flexible sole that is typical in most of their models of shoes, clogs, and sandals. They were quite comfortable and attractive, although I ended up returning them in favor of a shoe without a heel. One thing to know is that these run a size large. I have at least four other pairs of Danskos, all size 38, and the 38s in these were huge. I sized down to a 37, and they were perfect.

Really comfortable shoe, it hugs my foot and makes it look narrower than it really is. I like the fact that my wide feet look kinda smaller and narrower in these shoes. The strap is narrow enough not to make the shoes look "outdated". I have bunions and they do not hurt in these shoes. My big toes also point up a little bit and the curve of the toe box helps to make them feel comfortable (they do not feel pressed down like in some shoes where it looks like there was not enough leather for the toe box). The sole is think enough to walk on tile floors all day. Very well done, great quality, soft leather. I wish they would also come with the heel like Rockport Cobb Hill Collection Cobb Hill Abigail.

These run almost one whole size large

I tried several other grey shoes and this one was by far the most comfortable and stylish. I would totally recommend it.

Great comfortable shoes. They look best with pants, especially jeans, but I primarily wear them at work with dress pants. There was no break-in period, and the arch support is great for my collapsed arches.

Great shoe, but a hair too small for my size 12 foot. Returning and buying another Dansko shoe in size 12.5-13. Very great work shoe, sad they didn’t fit.

Very comfortable! After a long search and many shoes tried on, this is the one that worked for me. It has roomy toe space but not the big gap between the top of my foot and the shoe. For me, this is the best!

So comfortable! All black including sole which I like, so that it goes with everything in my wardrobe that is black.

I have flat feet and I basically know the minute I put on a pair of shoes if they're "made for me" or not. These are. My foot immediately felt balanced and supported. The rubber heel cushion made my ankles and legs feel energetic. I am lazy so I really like the velcro close. I got the gray and the texture and slight changes in tone are really nice. Finally, I love the padded back of the shoe that is easy on the back of my ankle instead of digging into it when I walk. I can imagine walking miles in these! Very comfy and also cute.

At last! I have found a shoe that is very comfortable, doesn't rub my bunion or cause blisters around the top, and is attractive with both skirts and slacks. I am ordering another pair in a different color!

These are the most comfortable Dansko's I've bought in years. The style is a little odd - with the "burnished" effect really making them look worn - mixed on that. But I wear them every day because they are so comfy. I hope there is a sandal with this footbed!

I've only had these out of the box like 5 minutes! I have to say how excited I am so I jumped on Zappos to review these! They fit me like heaven! I have plantar fasciitis and have to remove all inserts to put my orthotic but this fits perfectly and comfortabley! And the insert I took out is quite supportive as well. The shoes are darling. The color is a distressed brown that fades to a cocoa color. They have a pretty leather sheen to them. They are girly without looking to girly and matronly without looking too matronly. I'm 59 and I feel like I did 50 years ago when I got a new pair of school shoes - so fun! The toe box is roomy, the velcro closure is awesome since I also have a tremor so buckles can be challenging and the size is a perfect 10 while allowing toe wiggle room. And they don't make my size 10 feet look like size 10 feet! I will wear with leggings and skirts, pants and jeans, and I can see wearing them without socks in the summer. I currently have tights and a skirt and they look pretty dang cute if I don't mind saying so! Yaye!

Love love these shoes. Just wish I could remove the insert to put my own orthotic in there. Fingers crossed the original insert is enough.
