Wore these for trail marathons, 50k's, 50 milers and 100 milers...no issues with fit, stability and comfort. Only drawback....I've had four pairs and they seem to wear out too quickly in the same area on both left and right shoe...the area on the outside outer edge where the shoe bends above the toe box. Please fix this issue!

I use these shoes primarily for trail running for distances of 6+ miles. The traction is great for loose soil/gravel. The support and durability of the shoe handles great in rugged, uneven terrain.

This shoe is hands-down the best shoe I've owned for trail running. I used them to complete my first 100K this year and am buying two more for my upcoming 100 miler.

Fantastic, supportive, weightless sole--local running store turned me on to the Hoka brand for trails and after one run, I bought a second pair.

I am 72 years old. This brand was recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon, following surgery to repair a torn tendon in my left foot. I have found that the shoe aided greatly in walking and speeded the recovery process for me. I used to be a running, and would have loved these shoes back in the day!

This is the second time I've bought these shoes and they are a complete game-changer! They definitely help soften the impact on my knees, while providing great stability. This has allowed me to go farther and train harder. I'm normally an 11, but I would recommend going a full size higher. My last pair wore out at around 275 miles.

Most comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn (and have experienced many different brands). It even beats wearing orthotics.

First time Speedboat buyer and I am very impressed with the comfort and versatility. I expect this will even take the place of my hiking boots on most short day hikes!

I am not a real long distance runner and have only done a few half marathons. I am still running and doing a lot of long distance hiking. I used to have the Stinson's and love these even more. Very lightweight and comfortable. These shoes are very breathable. I used to come home with very dirty feet, but now only get it around my ankles. I ran my best run on the first day I wore them and they didn't even need any breaking in time. I love them!

First pair got over 500 miles on them, all rugged trails. This is by far the most miles I have gotten on any shoe. At 200lbs, they have held up well.

I am training for the " Train to Hunt " Competition and this shoe is doing great in all conditions. I had my Hip replaced 1 year ago and was worried about this shoe not having the cushion that I was promised.. It is perfect!!!

these shoes have been a game changer for me!! I'm obese, but steadily becoming less so, and needed a shoe that has good support, arches, and cushioning as I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. These shoes have been a godsend. They're hefty shoes without being bulky or heavy. They have GREAT support and stability and amazing tread. Although they make a lot of noise on hard floors. Lol They take a little getting used to just due to the thick soles but my feet have seriously never been happier!! I've ordered a pair of Gaviotas as well so will compare the two. My only issue is not being able to find the ones I want as they're sold out EVERYWHERE. I highly recommend these speedgoats for walking on various surfaces and terrains and general use, especially if you have foot issues like plantar fasciitis, or over-pronation. Also love all the awesome color combos! No-one wants boring shoes these days.

These are the absolute best in terms of comfort and support and as a bonus my orthotics fit great. So happy I tried these.

I am an avid hiker who enjoys 3-4 day backpacking trips. I love high peaks so am often scrambling up open ledges or scrambling up and over rocks. I will ONLY hike in Hokas! This shoe is so comfortable that I don't feel the jagged edges of rocks and my feet aren't screaming at the end of the day. The wide sole allows me to leapfrog across moss-covered rocks in streams without getting my feet wet. I appreciate the traction and the fact that my toes don't slam into the ends of the shoe when hiking downhill (I also order a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear). I cannot recommend this shoe enough for hiking!

I work in a fast-paced outpatient OR, and I am on my feet most of the day. I developed plantar fasciitis - foot pain when getting out of bed in the morning, foot pain when getting up after sitting for a little while - it was getting to where I had pain with every step. An orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon that I work with recommended HOKAs and said that she had heard several people say that the Speedgoat in particular helped with their foot pain. She was so right! The very next morning after wearing the shoes during another busy day at work, I noticed a significant decrease in my foot pain when I got out of bed, and my pain has decreased more and more each day. Thank you, HOKA, for making this outstanding shoe!

I wear a size 10.5 in the Clifton's and size 11 in the Speedgoat 2. At first they felt a tad big, but that extra room comes in handy on longer trail runs and quick downhill running. I typically like feeling the dirt under my feet, but a lot of trail shoes are too harsh on my legs while running downhill. The Speedgoat2's are a great compromise. I feel light going up and comfortable going down.
