Really wanted to like these. But I couldn't even try them on the trail. The tongue is so narrow that when I loosened the laces to tie them for my feet the laces dug into my foot because there wasn't enough tongue material left/right. Very disappointing. Don't have this issue with my Challengers or Clifton's (or other brands).

Hoku makes beautiful shoes but they are not meant for people with wide feet. The majority of their shoes are too narrow. My Bondi 2E are the only shoes they make that have fit me comfortably. If you fix this issue and offer more wide sizes of all your models, my closet would be full of Hoku's in all colors!

I actually would like to return my shoes I wore them once they were extremely uncomfortable and I will never wear them again

I really wanted to like these because I like the Vibram sole but they were way too narrow, sadly
