Trained for a few months in these and wore them for a three day Grand Canyon Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim. Easy two days of hiking from South Rim down to Phantom Ranch and then up the North Rim. Rained on the day up to the North Rim and then on the day of North Rim to South Rim. Stuck to the rocks like glue, all day comfort, and helped an old guy cover North to South R2R in 7 hours. These shoes are fantastic.

I have mild plantar fasciitis and these shoes completely alleviated the pain. They're extremely comfortable and I highly recommend them. I normally wear a men's 12, but after read the reviews I decided to order a size 13 and they fit perfectly.

I purchased these to ease into running and I couldn't be any happier. While they work well on the road. it's when you depart the hard surface where you will feel the immediate impact. They handle small rocks without a problem and will actually make you want to spend all of your time off pavement. I ran with them on a treadmill as well and was very happy with their performance.

I read many reviews on these shoes before I bought them. Since buying them 2 months ago I ran 2 50k and a marathon. All with 8000ft in very harsh mountain trails/rocks/mud. I love them. No blister. The cushioning is extraordinary. They are my go to shoes for any trail run now.

Very happy with my purchase! I have bad feet and problems with one knee and ankle, but I am able to do intensive 2-hour workouts pain-free. Excellent cushioning. I wish the azalea were more of a fuchsia, but I didn’t buy these as a fashion statement. :)

DEFINITELY WORTH THE $$. I have plantar fasciitis (who doesn't?) and Morton's toe (2nd toe longer than others, which causes ball of foot pain). I've been using rigid expensive inserts for over a year and they helped a lot. But I recently returned to work after three months off, literally from lazing on the couch to 8-12 hour days walking on concrete. My feet were in shock and my inserts became uncomfortable. My arches actually started to feel numb for days while on my feet and then throb when I went to bed. Read some articles, talked to some friends, and discovered Hokas. My feet feel cushioned yet supported all day. I still need to see a Dr because when I take my shoes off, my feet hurt again. But I'm thrilled to not be miserable at work all day. As far as style, they're fine if you like "loud" colors, but I'd prefer toned down color combos. I don't know if I'd have more selection if I had shopped Hoka website directly, but on Zappos, I only had a couple of color choices in my size and width. But I can live with walking on hot pink marshmallows.

Always a little painful to pay full price but these are worth it..the mileage just doesn't add up on the feet and knees at the same rate..had a foot issue and two pairs of these and many a trail mile later I don't..

I ordered these last minute and received them a week before my 25 mile trail run. I wore them for 2 short practice runs before the race. I completed the race without a SINGLE blister! They were great on the rocky terrain and perfect for climbing the mile long boulder field. This is also the first time that my toenails did not turn black/fall off after this annual trail race.

Did a 50K on these shoes and they did not disappoint...very durable and can take some serious rocky terrain. Would recommend...although I wished they had a bit more of an arch support.

On my feet all day at work. Went through two pairs of Nike's in 8 months. These are my new work shoes for running around the hospital.

Few weeks ago started to use speedgoat 2. They are the first shoes from HOKA. First training was quite unusial in terms of foot feeling due to light weight and really soft cushion. But during the next runing session the filling was unbelivable. I stop feeling pain in ancles and before even after a small run a had unpleasant pain. Quality of rus start to be much better and duration aswell. Really like this shoes. Definitely will order another one and will suggest to buy!

These shoes are amazing! I have been having terrible pain in my foot and just found out I have arthritis and bone spurs. I thought I would need surgery. But after wearing these shoes just one week the pain has been dramatically reduced to where I can walk for several miles and enjoy it. I have wide feet at the toes and was hesitant to get this shoe because it does not come in a wide width. However, the regular width was wide enough--my toes have plenty of room. Well worth the money.

Recently ran-hiked up Mt. Crested Butte Colorado and Scalp Ridge. These shoes performed perfectly above the tree line (12K Plus Trail Elevation)! Others in my group constantly commented on how much they liked the look of this shoe. Looks come and go but the performance of this shoe is unmatched in my opinion! Highly Recommend!

I have sworn by Brooks for years for running, but their recent iterations of multiple styles left me looking elsewhere. I ADORE these shoes. They are likely the best running shoe I’ve ever had. They don’t pinch my toes and have great cushion. Amazing cushion! If you’re wondering about Hoka’s try them. You’ll be impressed.

Just finished a 9 day hike on the Larapinta Trail in Tjoritja / West MacDonnell Ranges, Central Australia. Rocks, rocks and more rocks of every size and shape imaginable. The Speedgoat 2 were so light and breathable, super grippy and incredibly comfortable. People's feet were getting shredded and I walked out with only a minor hot spot on top of one toe. Feet have never felt better at the end of a hike. Love them.

The Speedgoat 2 is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. These shoes alone reduced my plantar fasciitis pain by more than 50% with in the first week. I wear these for running as well as on 12 hour shifts at the hospital.

Love these shoes..great on mud, hard packed trail, or rough terrain. Love the wide toe box and cushion. If you added a little more cushion I wouldn't complain, but this is still a 5 star shoe.

I've been on muddy trails, hard packed, rocks and tree roots and these shoes have done everything right! I love the wide tie box and the cushion. The fit is spot on and I've had no issues with hot spots, blisters, rubbing or slipping. These are my go to trail shoes..I absolutely love them. If you guys added a little more cushion I wouldn't complain, but these shoes are still 5 star. I love how they keep me stuck to the trail and grip perfectly. Please don't mess with this shoe..the fit, weight and support are great!! Happy trails for me

Awesome shoe. The first rendition and color line had a different overlay around the shoe. Where the foot creased caused a rip on the first colorway. Hoka changed up the overlay to decrease the crease from causing the area to rip. Go with the solid overlay

My podiatrist said I had to wear these shoes. After trying all of the HOkA styles, this gave my foot stability and amazing cushion. It has been hard to find the darker ones in stock. I now have 2 pair of this shoe and 1 in the men's shoe. The mens are one width wider which helps but they look like men's shoes. I hope this style is here forever. Thank you !!

I have these shoes in multiple colors because I'm on my feet all day in the hospital. I get lots of compliments and they are super comfortable. They are a little snug with thicker socks but if I went up another half a size then they'd be too big. After a little wear they fit perfectly...it's just that 2 week hump I have to get over. Will purchase again. Size 6 purchased.
