I just got mine, and as I just put it on and these defiantly feel like the most sickest running shoes I've ever owned, and seems much more advanced in comfort and traction, and support than the last hoka one trail shoes I got last year. I can't wait to wear them, when I go hiking/trail running. With all of my years of running in brooks, Nike's, pearl izumi, and now hoka one, these are defiantly my favorite brand that knows there's stuff in how to make good looking sick trail shoe. I love I!!

These shoes are great! The wide toe box allows for long runs with no pain. The cushion is great and the shoe works great on mud, hard packed, rocks and roots..smooth sailing!

Very good quality with so much cushion. I would choose this shoe over the Challenger.

This shoe is my favorite. I run a five mile very steep course in the East on pavement and then run the longer trail courses through Mt. Tam outside of San Francisco. The Speed Goat 2 has been my go to out of all the Hoka models, and I have run in four different Hoka's and enjoyed them all. I find I need one size larger since the redesign; however, the strength of the shoe and response is great on uphills. Steep drops also show how sturdily the Speed Goat 2 grips the terrain. Zero problems. I love these shoes

Just took these shoes around Mount Rainer on the Wonderland Trail. The Vibram soles stick to anything. These shoes give me the stability I need for long mountain runs. This is my 3rd pair of Speadgoat 2's. The only thing that seems to give is the top mesh material around the toe crease.

Just awesome all the way around. Wore these for the last 3 weeks of training as well as during the Sierra Crest 50k in Truckee. No blisters, no issue, and total awesomeness throughout. Can't wait to take them to the next race this system.

Happy to jump on a reduced price for SG2. Loved my first pair (over 500 miles) and look forward to going on all sorts of adventures with my new pair.

Love these shoes! I also have a pair of Hoka One One Bondi 5, which I love! The brand is excellent if you need support and cushioning! I could wear these shoes all day!

This is my second pair of Speedgoat 2's. I tried the Challenger ATR but it was not for me so I exchanged it for another pair of Speedgoats and am happy I did. Love the cushioning, the fit, the grip on the sole. Everything about it is perfect.

Went from Stinson ATR to Speed Goat 2, very happy with the shift to a quicker more nimble trail shoe that still checks the comfort boxes.

I found the show to solid on types of terrain and conditions. The problem I had is that sometime between putting 100-150 miles into them the upper tears on the forefoot. It's right in the ball of the foot area so the flexing of the material in that area during toe off seems like the likely culprit. Since I liked the shoe so much I bought it again and had the same problem. I've seen others have the same issue. It's too bad because when you are putting in 30-50 miles on the weekends your buying a new pair of trail shoes every month. That's just not economical, for me anyway.

I had been hesitant to try Hokas for many years now, I was never sure how the extra midsole height would feel or respond on the trails I run. After speaking with other trail runners, most of whom are much faster than me, that use Hoka's I decided to purchase a pair of Speedgoat 2's and try them out. They do take some getting use to but I just ran a 50K in them and my body has never felt better during and after a run. I use to get hip pain and foot pain but experienced none of that this time around. The wider toe box takes a bit to get use to when the trail footing gets real technical but the added comfort is worth it. The only downside to the shoe is that when running sidehill on loose terrain the midsole moves a little independently from my foot. Overall I'm very pleased with this shoe and will continue to use it.

Little to no break in needed, I ran 15 miles on my second run in these. Lite weight yet very sturdy and comfortable. Grips well but maybe too good for non- trail running. Size is pretty close to true, I wear a 7 1/2 to an 8, bought an 8 which is just right for trail runners shoes

My sons just bought this shoe for my 80th birthday next month and all I can say is WOW....the size 12 is perfect fits like a glove with just enough room at the toe front. I've been running other trail running shoes and they don't come close to the cushioning the Speedgoat 2 has. I just took my first hike today because I had the Post-herpetic Neuralgia, the worst, most complex and painful form of shingles since the day before Thanksgiving and then stubbed the toes on one foot that have been swollen for the past month.... I love to run trails rather than hike but for today I had a 13# back pack to just hike and break them in....although they didn't need to be broken in...I hiked up Red Pines Trail off the road to Snowbird Ski Resort for an hour and twenty minutes then came back down. These shoes provide so much cushioning that act like a shock absorber going up and especially going down when you put more weight on your feet. The heel cushion is incredible and the grip with the 5mm lugs really hold extremely well on stones and rocks. I can't wait to be able to run the trails as I get my heart, lungs and mountain legs back to their old self again...

I use these for daily running. They are super comfortable and the color is awesome and in demand apparently. I wanted a size 12 but settled for 12.5 since it was the closest available size. It is recommend to size up, they do run small so 12.5 is a perfect fit.

Last February I developed plantar fasciitis in both feet. My doctor told me about Hokas and how great they were. Let me tell you they are a God send! I'm on my feet at work 8 - 12 hours (occasionally even 16 hours) a day and typically walk on average 5 - 8 miles a day. I work in a 12,000 sq foot boarding facility within a retail store. As soon as I put them in the planter fasciitis pain went away and for the first time in years my back and knee didn't hurt. I also have arthritis in my spine and a bad knee. After 9 months and putting 960 miles on my hokas I've worn them out but I will be replacing them with another pair of speedgoat 2's.
