I have had these boots for about 3 weeks now, I use them weekly when I go bank fishing and have to walk and hike through the outdoors. I love how functional and comfortable they are. I had some trouble getting use to them, since I wear cowboy boots daily and they are a loose, these Columbia boots did hurt me for a bit until I they broke in. But that may just be me. They are an excellent boot either way. They are water proof. First day i got them i went fishing and crossed a small stream of water and no water got in them until i had to get in the river and half my body was submerged so they definitely got soaked but if its raining or step in a small puddle they'll hold up well!

I've been breaking these in for a few weeks and like how they are not too heavy. As somebody who wears memory foam sneakers most of the time, any boots are a shock to the system, but the weight of these seems good to me considering how rugged they are.

These boots fit very true to size, are very comfy, and feel light. I was surprised at how well the traction is in slush and ice, and they out perform my Keens in that regard.

Made really well and a great look

I need a wide size, just wide not extra wide, so I ordered the Newton II boot in the wide size. I has to double check what was sent because they were pretty tight, even with just regular tube socks. I don't think these would be comfortable when I wear my thick wool socks. These are really nice and affordable boots, but, if you are larger than a D width be warned.

Quality appeared excellent. The function also appeared to be good but cannot give a true review because was unable to wear. The same goes for comfort and cushioning. I think it will all be excellent once I can get the right size. This particular model is a bit smaller than true size. You may want to consider going one size bigger.

I like the design with red laces and Very good quality especially for hard work, also keep warm my feet in cold, light weight . Inside Should be more comfy

This is the perfect boot for casual hikers and backpackers: good tread, cushioning, weight and waterproof, all at decent price. If you need a more technical shoe ( better breathability, weight, etc), you can pay more, but this shoe is good for all basic hiking up to 50-100 mile treks.

I was a little hesitant to buy these but I did and I love them. They are really comfortable and easy to break in. Lacing system keeps them where you tie them.

Great looking boot, great quality. Unfortunately had to return because husband has Fred Flinstone feet and the wide was not wide enough.

I got the wide and it didn't bend correctly in the toe area. Not sure if it's because of the material but it hurt. It looks nice and would have been good as a casual boot for city commuting but didn't fit right for me. Maybe the normal width could have worked but I went for a different style instead and returned this one.

The toe box is too narrow, feels tight. It fits small
