I felt the part sticking out from my pants looked like a man's work boot. I wanted a bit more of a feminine look to the shoe.

No arch support, made my feet sweat in ten minutes in the house, smelled strongly of plastic in the box, so returning. Looked nice and fit very nicely, other than the arch thing.

These shoes smell AWFUL! Strong chemical smell, not nearly as good as the Encore Nova 2 they are replacing.

I usually wear a sz 7.5 in most shoes and a sz 8 in Merrell hiking/walking shoes, so I got these clogs in sz 8. I have a narrow foot. These were HUGE! Very floppy on my feet and the upper part of the shoe (the vamp) had too much of a gap-- a good 1/2 - 3/4 inch b/t top of my foot and the vamp. I didn't even bother to exchange for a smaller size b/c I figured that a smaller size would still have that big gap. I prefer a snugger fit around my foot. Also, the lip on the back is higher than on other clogs I've tried and I didn't like the feel of that rubbing on the back of my heel. I'd recommend sizing down 1-2 full sizes for a proper fit. I had to return them.

They look good, they feel good, but mine squeak.

I've worn Merrell slides for years and love them BUT the heel base on these is narrower that my last pair. I walk on a lot of uneven ground and have found I can easily step wrong and twist my foot. Potential twisted ankle... not great. Never happened with the last pair. The heel is at least 3/4" wider on the pair I'm getting rid of. Comfy shoes, fine indoors or on pavement. I would not have gotten these had I known of the narrower heel.

I have worn Merrel for years. These shoes are weird and don’t fit like my older Merrell Encores. They are too big (order size 9 like all my others but these are too big. They also seek when I walk. Can’t return, I wore them but I don’t like them at all. I love all my othe Merrell shoes but NOT THESE!
