I ordered these in 10.5 Medium and Wide, but neither worked. The Medium was too narrow in the toe area, and the Wide was huge. The length seemed ok in both, and I rather liked the Wide when I wore my super-chunky socks. The wide seemed to be a full half inch wider than the Medium. The foot bed was supportive except for the arch, which was just ok.

My five year old pair of this shoe wore out, so I ordered the exact same shoes. The fit and comfort are fine, but they look like a cheapened molded version of my old pair, which aged beautifully in appearance. Welcome to the modern world, I guess

Surprisingly too large despite identical sizing with other Merrell shoes I own.

The arch support was really lacking in this shoe- had to return it.

I liked the older style better with the rolled top & the size were truer, more comfortable with sole support.

Love, love, love these shoes! I don’t find them very attractive, but with this much comfort, I don’t care. I wear them everyday at work and most times when I’m out doing all those things that need to be done.

These shoes fit well and were well made. They would probably be very comfortable to wear. However, the shoe box was too full and they looked very matronly on my foot so I returned them.

I tried on dozens of shoes and boots before choosing these. I was looking for closed shoes to wear with pants, that are as comfortable as, but better-looking than, tennis shoes. These are it. They look like boots when worn with pants, but are much easier to get on and off and more comfortable than boots. I was able to insert my orthopedic arch support underneath the removable insole. The sole is very comfortable, like walking shoes, and I can walk all day in them. My only issue is that, because I have an extremely high arch, the shoe binds at my instep. However, it's not a deal-breaker and I imagine the leather will eventually stretch. The style is simple, and the leather will be easy-care, as it is not suede or distressed. I wish it came in a grey or taupe color!

Nice slip on, but way too big. I guess it has it's own style. Good quality shoe if this is what you want. Order 1/2 size smaller.

These fit great and were very comfortable right out of the box. They are a little squeaky. They are fairly basic in style and on the plain looking side.

I own several pairs of Merrell shoes and always take a 9 in this brand. Ordered the 9 Encore Q2 and they were way too big! Great customer support from Zappos got me a size 8 the next day and the fit was perfect. Right out of the box I hoofed miles in these on a vacation to New York City, comfortable and much more style than sneakers!

These run small. I've worn Merrells for years, the same size, and this is the first that wasn't comfortable out of the box. Will try the next size up
