The fit is great. I can wear thicker socks and they still feel fine. I am not crazy about lining and how it gives it a "house slipper" appearance with the lining sticking out. But they are warm and easy to slip on as I head the door with the dog.

Recommend going up half a size and avoiding the black color. I love these, but Merrell needs to get consistent about their sizing. I have an old pair of Encores which fit perfectly in size 9.5 with some arch support. In the Encore Q2, size 9.5 was painfully tight across the top of my foot (which is odd, that's never been a problem with any other shoe). Going up to size 10 gave me a good fit. I don't feel any arch support but they're still comfortable and warm. I would buy them again but not in black, because every speck of dust shows on it.

I love these shoes! I have a narrow foot and was so happy that they fit. I wish it had a better arch support, they still feel great. If need be I have my own arch support.

I have been looking for a replacement for my worn out suede clogs of another brand so I bought these. The fur inside is very thick and dense and the shoes feel VERY tight, especially in the toe box and instep. When I'm not wearing them, I have kept them in my shoe stretchers. They have stretched out to my satisfaction however, it took more than three weeks to get them that way. The soles also lack good traction so be careful walking in the rain.

This is my fourth pair of Encore Ice. The size seems a wee bit smaller than the other pairs.
The biggest complaint I have is the bad rubber smell of the shoes. The other pairs did not have the smell.
Are they manufacturing the shoes in a new country or using new materials? I see the label in the shoe states made in China.
I may send them back.

Not impressed with the newer issues and the gray on the outer sole looks like an “elderly shoe” and that’s coming from someone who isn’t a spring chicken... liked the black sole much better. The black fake wool sheds everywhere and gets matted down and then it doesn’t feel soft or padded on the insole. I would pass. That’s hard to say seeing that LOVE my old merrel’s but I’m just going to get new insoles to insert in them.

I bought a black pair for my Mom and she loves them. I also bought a brown pair, (the exact same size) and they did not fit well at all. I ordered 3 brown pair total and none of them fit properly. I was really disappointed that I couldn't find a brown pair that fit her.

I do love these shoes for the winter season! The lining makes them warm and toasty and they have that wonderful Merrell fit and comfort that I've come to count on. I was concerned the color might be too bright, but it was a classic subdued hue.

I've been buying these for years. They are so comfy and soft for your feet. My daughter takes my old ones for gardening, they last so long and are so water resistant. Worth the money!

The fit and comfort are excellent. Size is true, so you can order your usual size. I ordered a 9 and it fit perfectly. They’re so comfy and don’t cause any pain. I had many feet problems ( including spurs and planter fasciitis) so these were a great help. The heals are springy and very supportive. The only reason I took a point off is because they don’t have arch support. But the insole can be removed if you wanted to put any extra supports ( I did). Thank you Merrel for a great product but in the future please add arch support.

They are so comfortable and cozy.
I love the suede ice color. It becomes so neutral due to the shaded gray and white fur. I have trouble with my feet due to surgery but not in these!

So far I have purchased this shoe 3 times. All three to use as indoor shoes. We take out street shoes off indoors but when I standing for a long period- such as cooking for the week; or when my feet get cold in the winter there is nothing that does the job quite like these sweet little powerhouses. I have one pair for our house, another for my son's house, and my old pair for working in the basement or garage. I guess I never even thought of using them outside but now that I've read some of the other reviews, I'm going to take my old ones and head out. They still look fantastic even after so many miles and hrs of use! I am a Merrells fan. They are the only shoes I buy- my work shoes, my play shoes (where else can you find a fun looking sandle that you can take on a 6 mile hike. that holds up and keeps your feet and ankles balanced and happy? ), my "home" shoes. Keep doing everything right Merrell!

Awesome shoes! I’ve been wearing these since October 2019; super comfy! They kept my feet warm throughout the New Hampshire winter! But not too warm. They are easy to clean and still look new 8 months into almost daily wear. Highly recommend!
