I love these shoes! Warm, comfortable, and they fit well. I have a wide foot and they are snug at my regular size but that’s the way I like them. Might order another pair. Great purchase.

This is my 3rd pair - my first pair with FAUX lining - for which I am very disappointed. They are HOT and DO NOT BREATHE as you say. NATURAL Wool FLEECE BREATHES. This is so disappointing that Merrell can't maintain the quality of their ORIGINAL components in this and other of their shoes. My first 2 pair have NATURAL WOOL LININGS and are my go to shoes in my house.

I just wish Merrell would continue making a quality shoe once they get it right - but no, they they cheapen it bit by bit - makes me so disappointed. The original Ice has actual sheep fleece lining which stays comfortable as it allows you feet to stay dry - this polyester junk is so hot. I still have my originals and they can't be matched, apparently - Merrell - please try a little harder to keep a success story - product instead of cheapening it up

I love these shoes other than one rather major issue. The inside sole pad comes loose and will slide down the shoe once they receive any wear. I'm not sure why they were made this way other then the footbed pad can be taken out and washed. It's very uncomfortable to be walking around with pads that slip down the shoe and crease. FYI...I bought a second pair hoping it would not happen since I really loved them other than this one issue, but it did. The black fur lining also attracts a lot of lint. The white lining actually holds up better.

Even though I have a average width foot and a narrow heel, this shoe at the toe box is very narrow. I had thin socks on. I loved these shoes so I kept walking around the house hoping they would become more comfortable, but they didn't. The bottom of the shoe has lots of cushion and traction. Wish it could have worked out for me. When I get my foot measured at the shoe store it usually is 6 1/2. The 7 1/2 fit me better. Everyone is different. That is why I usually order more than one size.

I replaced an old pair of fur lined Merrell's that I lived in for way too long. I hesitated to purchase again because they are exactly high fashion. However, I DON'T CARE. These are the best slip on shoes for winter coziness and extra comfort. I have a high arch and find that these shoes have a decent amount of arch support. It is great to move about my day feeling like I am wearing slippers. I am taking a ski trip out west and plan to wear boots and pack ONLY this pair of shoes for the week.

This clog fits fine. I have a narrowish-medium size 7, got the size 7 M, despite warnings. It fit swell, just like other Merrells. And I had hesitated about going back to Merrells as I'm/was an Ugg fan. But Uggs have 0 arch support, which is becoming a problem for me. These clogs are supportive, warm and look exactly as pictured—fine! The footbed is removable so folks can remove for their own scripts if so desired, or an Ugg footbed. I'll wait for mine to wear down and replace it with an Ugg set I already have. The Q2s and I have been dog walking and gone through snow—the best! I'm sure the return to Merrells is now. And I'm definitely a shoe person.

If you love and wear Spenco brand shoes, this shoe will work for you also. I have found thru much trial and error and mega expense and disappointment that my particular foot bed, arch, heel needs the Spenco brand molded footbed. This is my second pair of Encore Ice2. I love them both. If your foot works with Vionic, it probably won't work with this shoe. Vionic has an arch that starts way too close to the heel for me, creating an uncomfortable bump. It is the worst possible fit for someone whose feet bottms are of the Spenco type shape. I am 65 and a retired flight attendant with TERRIBLY ruined feet from 30 years of heels and 16 hour days. I hope this helps with a comparison of footbeds. I can't even walk bare foot anymore. It's always something that is the most important for those of us with bad old feet. This shoe is warm, luxe, and comfy for all day wear inside and out.

Everything about this Merrell Encore Q2 Ice IS superb. I just purchased my second pair. Get them! For the colder months with thick socks, they are excellent. And, I have very high arches, thus this specific Merrell Women's 'winter' clog, works perfectly!

Thankfully I did not give up on finding the correct size! The shoe has a wonderful springy sole that gives great motion fully through the arch, while providing ample toe box room to wiggle my toes comfortably. The only catch is that I had to size up 1 1/2 sizes from my usual 6.5 in other shoes and from the size 7 in the Merrell slides to an 8 in this fake fur lined winter mule. Wish it were real shearling as others mentioned but this will work... Because it’s difficult to wear socks due to myofascial disease which requires loose fitting clothes and shoes, no socks due to elastic and Lycra, as anything restricting worsens fascial stickiness and thus, these springy shoes with its cozy lining fits the bill and solves my dilemma. Ideally I’d like the black but will think it over based upon some reviews that the dye is not colorfast and rubbed off on the foot... so I wound up with the gray due to the cream colored lining. I do have very high arches, complete with a high instep, thus needing to upsize one whole size from Merrell summer slides and 1 1/2 sizes from Dansko size 6.5 slides... Hope this helps others decide to order up, even with the narrower area at arch. Sizing up solved that giving more room overall, yet without the shoe slipping. It’s a perfect fit- very comfy. The only issue is the black lining with the dye rubbing off on some people... I so would love this shoe in black; leather would be better than suede also, but will spray them well before wearing.

I sent these back only because I wanted a dark grey and the color is more of a steel blue grey

This is the 4th generation of this same shoe I have had in the last 22 years. I still have every pair but they are now yard shoes or just plain work-type shoes. My new ones are absolutely everything I wanted them to be. The fit, the look; everything. No snow on the ground yet, so I cannot speak to their grip but I'm confident they will be as safe as all my previous pairs. I wear mine without socks, so I prefer the snug fit. You can't go wrong with these shoes.

I love the Merrell Encore Q2 Ice. This is my fourth pair, and I find myself wearing them from October to April. I really wanted the Andorra color, even though other reviews made it clear that the real shoe color wasn’t as bright a red as the photos online suggested. It’s true that they’re actually more of a reddish-brown, but they’re still a great, energizing color. They’re a little more understated than a bright red would be, but the color blends beautifully with many other wardrobe colors. The design of the shoe, though, is the most appealing feature. I have a high arch, and these are exceptionally easy to slip on, and they easily stay on. The arch support is good, and the faux fleece lining is both cozy and a nice color/textural contrast. I highly recommend them.

Never had worn clogs before but recovering from foot fracture and recommended by doc to wear a clog for several weeks after almost 2 months in aircast boot. Initally comfortable with cozy lining. Removed insole to add orthotic which took up a bit more room, may could have used 1/2 size up but 10 1/2 was as large as they come. Working as a nurse I thought I should go with a leather version but they irritated by bunion! The suede gives a bit, so preferred these. These are grey in color & look a bit like a slipper with the fluffy lining but with long pants not so noticeable. Zappos ROCKS!!! ESPECIALLY if u have troubled feet. They have the BEST customer service of any company I have ever dealt with (Laura was amazing!) & I have NEVER had an issue with retuning any item and FREE shipping! What's not 2 love!!!

This is about my fifth pair of these shoes over the last 16 years. They fit perfectly they are warm, and I use them to jump into when I go outside with the dog and walk him. and they don’t slip easily on the ice. I use one pair by the front door and when that one gets pretty muddy and old I transfer it to the back door where the real muddy stuff happens and then finally I toss a pair and cycle in a new one. I have narrow feet and these fit perfectly and true to size it 9.5. I don’t like to wear socks so these are perfect, and they are fast on and off - excellent for potty training puppies when speed is of the essence! Best of all I found them on sale I love the shoes!

These seem narrower and shorter than a pair of these(in another color) in bought several years ago. The other pair is an 8 1/2 and it fits perfectly. I had to order a 9 in these and they still seems narrower in the toe. I’m keeping them and hoping they stretch as I have a bunion and hammer toe. The falcon is a beautiful color of gray and I love the shoes. Was surprised and happy they were on sale. They arrived the day after I ordered them.

This is my 5th pair of these Merrill’s. I wear them as slippers and change to them the minute I get home. I plan to buy a pair in black to wear out doors.

Fit as expected - My feet are slightly wide and one has a small bunion, but they are low volume - kind of bony - and these are super comfortable. The shearling seems to adjust around the shape of my foot. Decent support without being overwhelming. Sole provides nice cushioning for standing or walking. These are the only shoes that are more comfortable than my Danskos.

Merrell constantly changes styles especially when you find the ones that are perfect. After a few exchanges for the correct size and no defects, finally was able to purchase 2 pairs in the stone color. Great comfort and warmth!!!! EXCELLENT customer service from Zappos!!!!

The shoes are pretty comfortable, but I am disappointed by the heel. My previous pair of Merrells had a full back on the heel, so it doesn't slip. This one, although it seems comfortable, the heel does slip back and forth. It isn't really a clog, but it isn't a full shoe either. I saw this in the picture, but with all of the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Since I can't wear the shoes to find out if this will be a problem for me, (just wearing them around the house won't do the trick) they will have to go back. I wish they just made a plain old shoe where the back comes up all the way.

I absolutelly love these shoes and I hope Merrell continues making them every year. I am a size 8 in most shoes including these, and the fit is perfect. These keep my feet warm in the winter, just like my Uggs. I have been wearing this style of Merrell's every winter for about 10 years, and replace them every 2-3 years with new ones. That is why I hope Merrell never discontinues this shoe, because I really don't know what else I can wear all winter (besides Uggs) if they stopped making these Encore Chill slides. These shoes are so much more convenient to slip on and off than boots are. I live in NJ, and the winters can be very brutal, which is why I need warm shoes like these. I would also like to add that I have issues with my feet (bunions, corns, etc.), and these shoes do NOT add to my discomfort at all! I can wear them all day shopping or walking outdoors and they are as comfortable as wearing a pair of slippers.

I recently moved back to the Midwest after living in Southern California for fifteen years and as it's gotten colder in the past few weeks, my feet are always freezing. I decided to try this Merrill for comfort and warmth to wear around the house or on a quick errand before it gets really bad out and I have to wear snow boots. After reading the reviews, I went up a half size, and ordered an 8 M even thought I'm always a true 7.5 M. When they arrived and I first put them on, they felt snug. I wore them around the apartment for about three minutes and they felt wonderful. They're literally the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The lining is warm and cozy and the arch and instep have great support. They're made with high quality materials, and I love the sporty winter look--great with leggings and jeans. I highly recommend this shoe. I got the grey, which I love, and I like them so much, I want to order the black or the brown. YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

I have a pair of there from years ago in a camel suede. I have worn them to death! I looked and found a pair that were almost similar. They fit and feel perfect. Love them.

They have changed their sizing and the shoe is much narrower than it used to be. I went up a size to see if that would help but it's still too narrow.

This seems as comfy as previous generations of the shoe. I have a somewhat narrow foot and a moderate bunion, both of which are comfortably accommodated by this shoe. The Andorra color in the photograph is a so-so match to the actual shoe. The red in the photo is brighter than the actual--the shoe is a slightly duller, winier color but does not veer into purple.
