My other merrels fit perfect in size 11.5 These are waay too big, sized more like a 13. My heel was at least an inch from the back of the boot. Going down a whole size!

As someone who values comfort over all else in hiking boots, I strongly recommend them. They are the most comfortable hiking boots that I've ever worn. That being said, they do not have the best durability. The rubber on the toe came loose within a few days, although it never came off completely I was never able to fully reattach it (neither shoe glue or gorilla glue worked). The threads also started coming off after around 400 miles and the shoes had holes on the sides by 500 miles.

This is the second or third pair of shoes that I have gotten. I wore my last pair for a year and a half every day and they held up great. The reason for only four stars is that the stitches on both sides gave up in only a week. So I took them to my local saddle shop and had them restitched. My newest pair have not given me any trouble yet. Oh by the way I work in a factory and ranch and do construction.

I love these and wear them a lot but sadly the tongue is not gusseted, not even halfway up. For that reason I can't wear them in wet conditions because moisture gets in. Other than that they're a perfect lightweight boot. Hoping they consider fixing that on future models of this boot.

These shoes are great. I have been a fan of Merrell shoes for years and they just last! Well worth the price. The reason for the four star rating is the shoe laces need to be a few inches longer. I often double tie them to keep them from becoming untied and these give you just enough to do it. More length would make it easier and help with appearance.

I'm a General Contractor and work in all four seasons. I've worn Merrell shoes/ boots of all types and could not be happier with every aspect of the product. I never give five stars, so four stars means I'm thoroughly pleased.

Lasted a hard 3 or 4 years still going. Waterproof is a lie tho

Awesome boots, extremely comfortable they feel amazing on your feet. Although as of my last several pairs there have been durability and quality control concerns. Sole delamination has been the main problem. I don't mind paying a little more so long as they do not fall apart in less than 6 months. Despite the issues I will continue to only buy Merrell hoping the quality does not continue to decline. Merrell seems to be making up for this by at least providing excellent customer service is regards to handling customers concerns. Keep it up all of you at Merrell you guys rock!

Comfortable shoe, goes anywhere. Except the toe cap began separating very early in the shoes life.

This boot is very lightweight. It is a little wide in the ball of the foot area but seems to be fitting better as it breaks in. Water rolls right off and the sole has good traction in all areas of use thus far.My job involves working in a warehouse on concrete. With that, these boots offer great support and comfort. My last pair of Merrells' are five years old and still holding up well after daily wear. I hope that I can get the same kind of mileage out of this pair. One of the best things about Merrell is that they are generally true to size, so online ordering isn't an issue.

Very comfortable boots. Not as much ankle support as the MOAB 2 boots I normally buy. 4 stars because the pair I ordered had a manufacturing issue. Merrell's customer support has been great and is sending me a replacement pair.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Unfortunately I can't give it five stars because after a couple months the toe cap is separating from the shoe. For a shoe at this price level that should not be happening.

I've been wearing Merrell shoes and boots for years and they've always been reliable for fit and quality. This pair continues the streak. They might be a bit more narrow than the last pair, but I haven't had a chance to break them in yet. And, so far, no issues with water from mud or small puddles. I work in a business casual, but active office so the brown Adventures blend in just fine for day-to-day work wear. I can wear them to a meeting without looking like I'm going hiking. Solid footwear again from Merrell.

The only, and I mean only, problem I have, is with the hook fastener at the top for lacing. It chews up the lacings. Speaking of which, you ought to go with the solid braided lacings, like in the US military boots. They are more durable!

I broke this boot in on pavement, inner city hiking for miles. Now it is ready for trail use. Very pleased with this boot. I hike 6 miles a day average on natural surface. Saving this for winter use. I liked it better than the Moab vent.

I really like this boot thus far. It is comfortable and no breakin time was needed. I got the wide width and it is much wider than I expected. Maybe should have gotten the standard width.

I purchased this item as a father's day gift for my husband and so far he loves them. They are comfortable but sturdy enough that he can wear them to work in. The only thing I would change about them is that, while they are listed as waterproof (and the leather does seem to be), they do not keep water (or debris) out of the shoe because they do not have the attached tongue on the inside as some of the other models he has had in the past do. Other than that they are a great and attractive shoe!

Boots are great right out of the box. They fit great. No problems at all. I even bought another pair in a different color.

I bought this pair of boots for work. They fit great and were comfortable out of the box. I have a few months of wear out of my other boots but already have replacements lined up and at a great price.
