This boot is perfect for apres-ski and any other activity in a snowy climate. While utility is the first, most important box to check, this boot is also very handsome and can be worn confidently in social situations -- gallery openings, finer restaurants, and so forth. If you are headed for a winter resort, you cannot choose better than this boot.

Pretty good fit, took me about two weeks to break them, and they feel amazing, I wear them almost every day to work, the support and cushioning are good so far, haven't had any trouble yet. Waterproof is great just don't sumerge them to deep because zippers are not waterproof, bummer there, but everything else excellent. Toe box espace is great, calluses or discomfort gone completely, that was a win for me. Definitely would buy me another one because they are irreplaceable.

I spent 2 weeks in Switzerland. I wore these boots the whole time through many conditions. First, one the plane- easy on and off. Then walking in the city and on and off of the bus and metro and trains. Went to 3 ski resorts that have hiking trails on packed snow, they were great! Even in Zermatt where we droppped in elevation over 1000 ft hiking on snow. They have a nice slim profile that looked fine a dinner. I have a wide foot, and women's are usually too narrow for me. These were perfect! I usually wear a women's 10. I did put an arch support in which made them even better for the amount of walking that I did. Would order a second pair now, but sadly, out of my size. Hope they make them next year again. Well made, zippers work well!x

I ordered these at the same time with my Cold Pack Ice + Mid Polar Waterproof boots. Unlike the Mids, these boots, thanks to lots of snow, have seen more considerably more wear, but not the 30-day wear standard that I prefer to use for evaluating footwear. Despite that, these boots have performed at the expectations that I have come to expect from Merrell footwear. I do enjoy the side zipper on the boots, as it speeds up putting on one's footwear, which makes for a happy dog. It would be nice to see the Cold Pack Ice + 8" Zip Polar Waterproof offered in a 10-inch height, and a 16-inch height, also. I am glad that my older brother, who has worn Merrell products for years, recommended them to me.

These boots are great! I'm on my feet all day at work and walk long distances in these and they're super comfortable and give great foot and ankle support. They're lightweight but durable.

Easy to get in and out of with zippered ankles. Tough and well constructed. Totally waterproof. And pretty light, for all of that.

Been wearing these boots for the last few weeks through both snow and slush in New Hampshire. They're comfortable, keep my feet warm and work well in the snow and ice. Very pleased.

Fit is good and insulation value is good.

I live in Michigan , and it is very good for snow and rain , keeps feet warm , it has been a bad winter so fr , sub zero temperatures etc and it has handled very well , easy to slip on and off compared to conventional boots , , you can wear the whole day like a shoe in the office , feels like a shoe and super light weight for an boot , and at the same time offering superior traction and confidence when walking on loose to 3 feet snow & rain . Only concern I have is will it hold up for long , I've been using it just for a month now.

Awesome boots. Lightweight to travel with during winter. Purchased them for our trip to Spain & Parus. Weather was great so we did not need them. Still Looking forward to wearing them.

These boots are similar to a previous pair of Merrell's that I owned- the only difference is that the boot upper is narrower and has a zipper now. Initially when I put on the boots the upper was tight around my calf however after wearing the boots a few times they have stretched out and are very comfortable now. I live in Western Washington and we have had an abnormal amount of snow this year- These boots have been comfortable and have kept my feet warm and dry.

Got them in yesterday and they feel like they are already broken in! Feet stayed warm and dry all day in snowy wet Washington state weather!! 5 star boot

Easy on & off. Light weight.

I debated buying these boots because the winter was almost over, ha. They are really comfy, and waterproof, and warm. Plus they look great, or I think so anyway.

I got these in the "Copper Mountain" color, a warm brown. Very nice. These are pretty easy to get on and off, and the zipper is snug and secure, I haven't had any trouble with the zipper falling down throughout my walks. They are very warm (in 15 degree weather) and the traction is incredible! I actually ran a ways in these and they are SO lightweight! I wear a 12 medium in just about every shoe or boot brand I have ever owned, including five other pairs of Merrell's I own. These are a little snug but not uncomfortably so. Just snug enough so I can only wear a lightweight athletic sock with them. But they are so warm that is good. I would sweat in them with a thicker sock. Another great boot, Merrell! Thank you!

This pair of boots is exactly what I was looking for. Something warm, weather resistant yet light weight. The ease of on and off is an added bonus as they have a zipper on the sides. No more wet laces! Great job Merrell!

I did order the black . very nice boot . these boots can be worn with jeans or you can dress them up too , for people working in the office . they true to size lightweight and waterproof + they to provide support . I highly suggest these boots . .very pleased with my purchase .

When I saw these boots I fell in love with the style. That doesn't mean I'll buy them right away however. I've learned to try them on and take a real honest look at how they feel and work and look on me. Compulsive purchases are a thing of the past, I have matured lol. I love these boots!! They are the best. I've worn them through the slush and snow here in NYC and they do the job. They grip well, they have the "arctic grip", keep the moisture out and they're so comfortable! I even wear them when there isn't snow or rain. They look so cool and people have noticed them too and asked me about them. I ended up buying a half a size smaller, they seemed to run a bit big, so if that's the only issue, then there's no issue...Money well spent, I'll be a returning client. Thanks guys I love Merrell

Have Merrill shoes and they work so well I bought these Merrill boots. They did not disappoint. Took them for a city walking trip in snow and -15 wind chill below in Canada . Great comfort, traction, and warm. Loaned my Merrill shoes to my wife and she won't give them back - so I need to buy more today.
