This does not feel like a women's size 11 at all, its more like a 10, and I'd like Merrell to make 12's for women. First so I can buy and fit into this shoe (although I'm a size 11) but also because women need more choices.

I didn't like these shoes. I tried on two different sizes and neither fit comfortably. They seem to have adequate arch support and ok cushion in the footbed. The toe box is a little on the narrow side. My pinky toe rubbed on the edges. Had to return.

If you choose to order these, definitely order at least a 1/2 size up. I regret that I ordered the size I always wear in athletic shoes and after wearing these shoes to walk, my great toes are bruised on both feet. I have already worn them so am unable to return them and that is also very disappointing. They are very comfortable but have elastic around the arch and I think this is pushing my foot forward when I walk. I will definitely think twice before going with this style again.

Loved the look and idea of these. The size was correct as far as length and width, however, the tongue came too far back on my foot and was too stiff. Someone with a differently shaped foot and ankle might love this shoe.

I love Merrill shoes, however I need a great of support in the sole. This didn’t do it for me. I did however find one that did.

I have had “minimalist” shoes from Merrell in the past. These felt more restrictive, and I really didn’t like the half-attached tongue.
Wanted to love these, but they are being returned.

Fit great and felt comfortable, but if you have a high arch, the fact that the tongue is attached on one side and can't be centered makes the top of the shoe messy and askewed. I would have loved these if it weren't for that one sided attached tongue.

One of the Merrell's I chose was a 9.5 and the other was a 10. Both of them were too small. I've gone up in size to a 10 as foot spreads a bit with age but with the regular socks I wear, the 9.5 was way too small. The 10 was ok, but no real room at the toe. Don't care for the tongue and laces to be to the side.

I pronotated horribly in this shoe. It was comfy, love the design and of course the vibram soles, but I think I need something higher on my ankle to prevent the pronation. Even with my favorite barefoot shoe of Merrell's (bare access flex E-mesh exclusively) I pronate slightly. I think maybe the knit trail glove will be better for me and my feet.
Overall super comfy, nice design, the soles are top of the line, but if you have higher arches and boney ankles like me you might pronate.

I had the recommendation to try the minimalist shoe by my son. I have a very heavy heel to toe gait and come down pretty hard on my heel. With my job I'm am on my feet all day. After 2 days, my knees hurt a lot. Switched back to my old shoes and everything settled down.
Going back to a traditional shoe. These shoes fit well. They have nice room for the toes. True to size. Just not the type of shoe for me.

Great toe box. Nice looking. The wrap ankle fabric hit the front of my ankle too high and therefore caiused discomfort. I would have preferred less arch support, but overall this trail glove is a good quality flexible shoe.

I was excited to buy these shoes, I thought that they would enable me to really enjoy a more natural style of running but unfortunately I have had many problems.
Firstly, the outer fabric does not seem to last and has many places where tearing has occurred.
I also suffered a few injuries with these shoes and have stopped running in them; these include, insertional achilles injury and plantar fascia pain.
It is a shame.

Love this shoe! I'm going on my 4th pair and they've always held up really well. Unfortunately, after about 5 wears to the gym (light use), the elastic completely separated from the burrito tongue. Fortunately Merrell will be replacing the shoe with a similar one for me. It is a very comfortable shoe with the right amount of arch support. Great for trail runs, hikes, and wearing to the gym.

I originally rated these 5 stars for comfort, zero break in time, and versatility. I got my pair in September, wore them on a 6 day trip that involved a lot of hiking and city walking, and since them, wear them when running errands, going on walks, and working out. I noticed after about a month, the fabric had gotten rips in three spots on one of the shoes. I thought maybe I'd accidentally caught them on something while cleaning the garage or something, but about a month layer, I noticed the other shoe had started the same rips, mirrored. Aside from this, they're fantastic, but something about that wear in those spots has caused them to be 3 month old shoes with matching rips. Super bummed, and hoping that the sale prices on these indicate a new version that's just as comfy and versatile but with better textiles is on the way!

What I Like: Cute design for running shoes, wide toe box, lightweight, and fits well, feels great for minimalist running shoe with flexible but protective outsole.
What I don't like: The tongue is continuous with one side of the shoe and I think that made it impossible for me to keep my heel from slipping out when walking. Not enough arch support for me. Made my feet hurt with just walking so I'll be returning them.

I got these shoes as a minimal hiking shoe and was absolutely in love with them. They fit true to size and they're super comfortable, even after several long days of wear. They're one of the first pairs of shoes that I haven't dreaded putting on by the third or fourth day on the trail. The vibram soles are awesome for a non-slip grip on all surfaces. However, I bought them for a backpacking trip and they have pretty much fallen apart. The fabric edges of the vibram are pretty shredded and there are a few holes in the sides. Whatever material covers the arches of the foot for flexibility is also shredded and was shedding for the second half of my trip. I do love these shoes, and any ultralight shoe would probably struggle being out on rocky terrain for a few weeks, but I would find it hard to justify purchasing them again as they're pricey for a one-trip wear.

I am a huge fan of the Merrell Vapor Glove shoes and wear them daily. I've started to get out on rockier trails and decided to go looking for a more rugged sole. VOILA! This should have been the perfect solution. HOWEVER, it squeezes my foot oddly, cutting off circulation through my mid-foot, and one of my big toes bumps the end of the shoe. It is sized correctly - a size up would be floppy long. It's just an oddly different fit than the Vapor Glove 2 I normally wear. All I wanted was that shoe with a burly sole, but alas, they had to make design changes that just don't work for my feet. If it fits you well, you will LOVE IT - perfect lightweight minimalist upper with a great wrap around tough sole. Good luck!

These feel great in the toe box, like a barefoot shoe should. I don't have a wide foot, but I found these incredibly narrow in the midfoot. I can feel the hard rubber digging into both my arch and my 5th metatarsal, even on my foot that's a half size smaller than the other. Too bad Merrell doesn't make a wide.

I so wanted these shoes to work, but in the end I had to send them back. I loved the roominess of the toe-bed and the way they looked, but there wasn't any heel support, which I need for my back. The arch also hit me wrong. I wish they had worked!

I like these shoes, got them to walk my dog. I have a high arch and tend to roll my feet outwards, and these have helped with my foot placement and heel tightness.
However, just noticed the right foot has a tear on the outside of my big toe joint, and there is another on top by my pinky. Since I've only had these for a month and put under 100 miles on them that is very disappointing. For the money I thought they would hold up better.

All the people responding said to be sure to order up a half size to whole size. I took the advice and ordered up a half size and they were at least a half size to long. I had to return. So my advice is if unsure call or email Zappos and ask rather than have to return them. I don't know how to respond to comfort or the rest as they were so long.

I wanted to like these shoes and I did. They were super light and comfortable but my pronating arches pronated immediately when I put them on. No support at all.

I was really disappointed. I really wanted to love these shoes because they are comfortable and they look great! Except that they are not very breathable. I've tried wearing thin socks and also barefoot with these but my feet felt hot after a while of wearing them and sweaty if not wearing socks.
