Comfy but not durable. 4 months in the shoe came apart.

The shoe upper is very padded, which I didn't like. The uppper material aborbs a lot of sweat and the mesh isn't a breathable as expected. The collar around the ankle isn't a snug as my previous new balance making easier for ricks to get it. The arch support could be a deal breaker for down people. It didn't bother me too much. The bottom outsole has fantastic grip and flexible. You could never go wrong with a vibram sole. The toe box was wide letting my toes spread out to add more comfortable. Over good shoe just really didn't like the upper material.

Great style, comfortable except too narrow! I have always worn a M width, these do not fit. A disappointment as they are great otherwise

Width was very tight and there is no arch support.

Liked the style and look but this shoe is very sensitive when it comes to sizing with the tongue design that folds over. Since there is only one seam it is much more important that the fit is good because otherwise the tongue doesn’t cover your food and your socks show.

interesting, sleek construction. nicely made for use without socks. not enough support -- as suspected -- for my arthritic feet. surprisingly wide toe box.

There is not enough room from tom to bottom in this toe box, tried a bigger size and had same problem. Also was smaller than my prior trail glove.

The size was fine. The width was OK. I really wanted to like these shoes, the style, general comfort. Unfortunately, one of the lace buckles/loops is was digging into my foot no matter how loosely I tied the shoes.

VERY narrow. Having to return these and look for something else. Love how they look, though.

These shoes have a tongue which is integral to the side of the shoe (not apparent from online descriptions), and as a result if you have a wide foot and/or high instep the whole shoe distorts when you put it on and the tongue will not reach across your foot. Very cute, but if you don't have petite feet, forget it.

Really disappointed in this shoe. The plastic toe box breaks down on the creases. The toe box itself is wider than the trail glove 3 while the length is shorter. The sole is still best in class, but the rest is a disappointment. I think I'll switch to the New Balance Minimus until they fix this with the Trail Glove 5. I should have known it was going to be a dud when the price for the new generation was less than that of the old. For what it's worth, I run 55-60 miles per week and once put 1,200 miles on a pair of trail glove 3's. These won't last half that long because the upper is disintegrating.

I have a narrow foot and a low arch. In shoes with widths I would wear an A. In a one size fits all shoe I have to lace the shoes so it tightens only at the top, otherwise the shoe bunches up over my toes and rubs them raw. Ihave been running in a Trail Glove 3 but my stockpile is running out so I tried a Trail Glove 4 and Trail Glove 5. The 4 was close to a fit ubt the shoe tongue has this dorky design where it is attached on one side. Even tightening only at the top a diagonal crease formed in the tongue. My feet were swimming in the %, room for a couple of extra toes. It's true to widthe if you have a wide foot.

Not enough toe room. Ok support. Altra is a better minimalist shoe for me.
