Purchased for my husband and he loved them.

Fit is outstanding. My first experience with minimalist shoes and I absolutely love them. I wear them every day. I just got done working a trade show booth for two days and wore these shoes. It’s hard to switch to other shoes now. I’d like Merrell to make a nice chukka in minimalist style.

This is my first pair of minimalist shoes and, after a month, they’ve turned into my everyday favorite. Very comfortable and light. No foot fatigue to speak of. I haven’t tried them hiking yet but will do so in a few weeks. I would love to get this style of shoe as a dress shoe as well.

I am not a runner. I work in grounds maintenance, and this shoe seems to have been a good choice, as they're stylish and make walking around rocky ledges and on stepping stones very easy.

These are great shoes. I wear them for yard work, hiking, disc golf, kayaking, you name it. They have great traction and are very comfortable. I like the zero drop and the natural footfall.

Perfect combo of minimalist footwear and sole protection for rough trails. Love ‘em.

My husband is in his 90's and is so delighted with the Merrell shoes which are anatomically designed like the shape of an actual foot. He has owned 4 or 5 pairs of Merrells over the years and only buys the ones that have a foot-shaped, roomy toe box. This particular pair fits him like a glove once he gets them on. He has an extremely high arch so it does take him longer to get the shoe on with this particular style in which the tongue of the shoe is only open along one side, so it's harder to put on. Once the shoe is on though, it's very comfortable and the shoe is not hard to remove. We think this tongue arrangement would really be good for very active people, as they would not have trouble with the tongue moving out of position while jogging etc. The soles are great and are thick enough for good protection, but at the same time are very flexible with good traction. These shoes are not heavy, so not tiring for an older person to wear either.

A bit thicker of a sole than in other barefoot runners, but that is fine for me. I use this shoe as a low-profile shoe for taijiquan. It is sturdy and has held up for about a year now with multiple practices every week. Lots of width in the toe box. I often wear size 14s, and sometimes regular-width 14s are not wide enough for me. That was not the case with this shoe. It felt similar in terms of the width in the toe box to Keen Newport H2s (which are, obviously, a very different kind of shoe) in the same size.

Merrell are my favorite. Might be buying a second pair of these.

Great shoe! Got these for disc golf which is a lot of trail walking and wanted something less chunky than a standard hiking shoe for better control on the tee-box. I ordered 1/2 size smaller per reviews and would recommend this. I normally wear a 10 but the 9.5 is a better fit with these. I hope they make a waterproof version for wet winter conditions.

Great shoe. I’ve worn a 10 in every shoe I’ve owned for the last 10 years. These? 9.5. Order a half size down and save yourself a return.

I don't really wear this style of shoe, but I had a pair of Merrell's in the past and they wore and felt great. These are no different. In fact they are better than the ones I have had in the past. People in the reviews don't lie when they say these fit and feel awesome. They do. They are a minimalist trail shoe but I wear them everywhere. I have yet to run in them yet but I'm sure they will be fine.

Great shoe for relaxed walking in city or country.

Great shoe for running. As a beginner runner, I was worried that the thin sole would be an issue, but actually improved my performance and is quite comfortable.

Great Camp Shoe - I think. I'll let you know when I'm done with my hike, however these are very comfy in testing thus far. Best barefoot shoe comfort I've ever tried and It's like I'm wearing socks :) I think they look stylish and I love the functionality of not having to wear socks and still having the shoe be comfy to put on, and wear! I didn't feel that the breathed quite as well as I would have liked and that's my only minor knock on em. Overall 5/5 stars for me!

Great looking shoe. Could use more arch support

Comfy slip-on shoe. I never tie ‘em. Feel less stiff and more comfie than the Merrell slip-on Mocs.

This is a good replacement for the Mizuno Wave Universe 5 shoes that I can no longer get because Mizuno stopped making them a number of years ago. I have run in minimalist shoes for more than ten years. Minimalist shoes let me benefit from my midfoot strike. I have run a half marathon at least once a month for the last five years, with a few 10Ks and a 20 miler thrown in for good measure. The Merrell Trail Glove 4 shoes seem to be durable, but it's too early for me to tell. I only discovered them about a month ago.

I was a huge fan of the Trail Glove 3. I was hesitant to try the Trail Glove 4, but I’m glad I did! The Trail Glove 4 has improved on the last version. It’s a great shoe for everyday wear or for trail running/hiking.

Great shoe, only complaint is that mine arrived with a stain on the top of the shoe.

I love these shoes. Spent two weeks walking all over Italy in them and had no problems. This is the first time I’ve managed to find a shoe that didn’t give me blisters while on vacation and walking all day.
