Great all the time. As a layer on cold days or on its own when it's less chilly, pretty bomber jacket!

Good, light weight and easy to pack

This is my second Ascendant Hoodie, best jacket I've ever owned! I just needed another color so I could change it up a bit since I wear this thing almost every day. It's perfect for most temps, has some water repellency for the misty days. I've used it as a mid layer in the mountains skiing and it packs up and stuffs in a back pack nicely when on a trail. It's definitely my go to jacket for just cruising around town as well! Awesome jacket!

Great jacket....very lightweight and comfortable. Bought it in the late spring and now I can't wait to ski with it on.....bring on the slopes.

mid layer for everyday use and skiing

Overall a great product. It's perfect for San Francisco weather where fog and moist can come upon you anytime. The jacket is very light and perfect to have in your car just in case. I like OR's colors. They are muted and don't scream. So you can wear strong colors like blue and red, and yet. you don't have the feeling your color is screaming out... I got this jacket at a start discount, that helps, too.

Excellent warmth considering it's light weight and low bulk in the pack. it would be perfect if the hand pockets had zippers.

Prefect layer or by itself!

I had my doubts. Great deal, but the jacket didn't fit any category I knew I needed. I took the leap. No regrets. The perfect jackets I never knew I needed. Light, warm, water resistant and a feeling that puts a smile on my face every time I put it on

I'm blown away. Great coat I'm 5' 10" 150 and fits perfect.

I haven't field tested it, but it's been perfect for wearing around town over a t-shirt in the 50s, and is also comfortable under a rain shell. It's extremely comfortable, and at 5'7" and 150lbs, a medium has a great, slightly loose fit. The shell material is thin, breathable, not stretchy and seems very delicate. The Alpha insulation is like Sherpa fleece with a hair cut and doesn't seem weigh anything.

Fantastic shoulder season jacket! Better at blocking wind and rain than a fleece while being just as light and more durable. Is cut slim--I wear a medium, which fits great (6 ft, 160 lbs)

I get it now. This became my favorite article of clothing overnight. Perfect for every condition, as long as things don't get too extreme.

I often have a hard time getting both sleeves to fit without being baggy and this is great. I love the lightweight feel, and the lining is super soft. Water resistant so far, but haven't tested it for a long time in the rain.

I love the polartec Alpha combined with the Pertex, great for mild mornings or as a layer under a shell on crisper days.

My boyfriend is 6'5" and slim. Usually when he buys XL jackets they fit very wide on him. This jacket is the perfect fit and length. It's nice that he finally found a jacket that looks good and fits!

Lightweight, warm, breathable. Held really nice under rain too.
