These coats are really great. Block just enough wind and breath incredibly well. Perfect for any aerobic activity like backcountry skiing or climbing. Also work great as just a general lightweight jacket in milder temps. Great cut and fit. Sizing seems perfect and true to size. I'm a medium in most things and this fits like it was made for me. I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs.

I did not I was going to like this jacket that much, I just use it all the time! my other jackets are jealous!. the only thing is tha tis designed to wear not to pack it.

This hoodie is the jam! Super light weight, very warm but doesn't make you want to sweat, easily smashed into packs and stylely. I took this steelhead fishing and it's great because it cuts wind really well and keeps you comfortable in a variety of conditions.

I was a little unsure about this jacket as I have a light down and several fleece jackets and this seemed redundant. Now that I have used it several times, it is as warm as my light puffy jacket and as breathable as my fleece. Incredibly versatile layering piece. I am looking forward to using it on some ski tours this winter.

Hands down the best mid layer I have had. I was sceptical that a jacket you could see through would actualy keep me warm. It's so comfortable that I would forget I was wearing it if it wasn't making me so warm. This has turned into my go to jacket for just about everything.

Perfect active mid layer. Very stretchy but durable. Warm but not hot. Got a hole from some gnarly bush wacking but nothing that can't be patched.

Love this jacket! I've used it as a baselayer on cold mornings on the river fly fishing and on some pretty strenuous hikes. It does an amazing job keeping me warm but not overheating! I can already tell this is going to become my go to piece for many activities.

Soft, quiet, lightweight insulated jackets. Will be great alone in cool weather or under a shell jacket in cold weather. Chest pockets for phone is a plus.

After I bought this and loved it, I bought it for the rest of my family. It is my go to jacket for cool morning hikes, commutes or whatever. Is a great layer for under rain jacket that maintains a nice temperature without overheating. Does great for brief rains or mist on its own but will eventually get wet. My family can't say enough about this garment and all wear it often.

This layer/jacket excels above treeline. I have worn this for a couple of climbs now and it has worked great at keeping me warm and blocking the wind in spring and early summer conditions. I was a little cold while sitting in my tent waiting out a hail storm but that is to be expected. This is an active movement piece and it does that very well. If you stop moving or encounter precip, you will need to toss on something with it. I have only need to do this so far due to rain. If you are in the sun when stopping, you are probably fine. I am 6'1" with and athletic build and an XL fit me perfect. The slimmer fit is great. I thought no zippers on the pockets wouldn't bug me but it actual does. If you use this piece as a mid-layer, I could see the potential for the zippers to get caught on things underneath a shell, so I do understand the rationale behind the design.

Purchased this jacket for my partner when it was on sale for $60, such a good deal! He loves it, perfect for our Summit County, CO weather changes. He wears it biking, climbing, hiking, and just hanging out. Just wish the pockets had zippers!

Everyday use/hiking. Lightweight and extremely comfortable. I own a small in the Ascendant Jacket, but went with a medium based on reviews. Fits just right with room for 1-2 layers underneath. A touch on the long side for someone 5'8" and 155 lbs.

The Ascendant Hoodie is lightweight, warm, and water resistant. I have worn it everyday since I received it.

I bought this last month and use regularly for shoulder season warmth. This will be my new mid-layer for snowboarding, and will use in high altitude backpacking for cold nights.

Nice mid layer for chilly mornings. Haven't gotten to tour with it yet but it seems to be a great option for that at well

The perfect mid / outer layer. I used it from everything from Ice climbing to Nordic skiing to going to work. I am 6 foot, 165 lb, and the medium fits perfect. Very much an athletic fit
