Purchased to do errands and walk my dog along the north facing shore of Lake Michigan in Door County, WI. I researced to find a coat with down and a wind proof layer-coat is wonderfully warm and I have received several comments on how good it looks-even described as "it's wonderful" by a friend today. The wind proof fabric makes all the difference with the winds here on the lakefront.

I've lived outside of Chicago my entire life. You'd think after 42 years of the brutal wind and cold I'd be somewhat accustomed to this weather. Wrong. I'll be cold until July and my new parka will keep me warm and looking cute.

Everything is great about this product it's very warm and it's warm when I put it on. I live in Minnesota and it beats the 20 or 30 degree weather by a far!

I come home from work about 12 am every night and I like to go out on my balcony with a beer to unwind. Problem is that it is cold and windy. Well no more problem. I put on this coat and it is like having a blanket around me. And I still feel feminine in it which is important after a long shift working hard labor. Sometimes I need something to feel like a woman. This coat makes me feel special. :)

This jacket is everything that I was looking for. Awesomely made!! Keep in mind it runs 1 size too small since it is "Slim Fit". I had to return the one I purchased for 1 size up.

Really glad to finally have a reliable winter coat! It is pretty tight in the chest (fits me fine because I'm a small person). If you're debating sizes, it may be worth it to order a size up- other than the chest it fits really well. Love all the pockets in this coat. The zipper has been giving me some issues- sometimes so get it the first time and other times I have to play with it.

I love this jacket. It has a bit more style than the Arctic Parka. Lots of pockets for hands and storage. I love that you can chinch the waist to give it a more definition in the waist. I'm 5'11" with long legs and arms. This hits just above my knee, and the sleeves go all the way to my wrist. My only complaint is that the sleeves near the hands are very loose. I worry about wind blowing up my sleeves if I don't have gloves on.

I love this warm coat but it does restrict my arm movement which i find super annoying because the coat was so expensive. The shoulder construction just does not allow me to bring my arms forward completely. I normally wear a small or medium, I bough medium and returned it for a large hoping to solve that issue, but alas the coat still feels small in the shoulder, even in large.

Loved this coat, very durable and a great material. The fit however was not great. I usually wear a medium in everything, but for this coat the medium was snug on the arms / shoulders and I did not end up keeping it. I was tempted to try the large, but after reading the other reviews I ended up going with the Arctic Parka.

This is a very heavy coat. It runs small and I didn’t like the style on me. I will be sending it back.

I use this jacket every single day. It is getting cold in Madison, especially with the tall buildings and the wind all billowing up around everything. I have been warm every single time that I've worn it, except when it was raining. Even on the chilliest of days, I still got a little bit sweaty from how warm I was! So worth it, though. I know I will love that in the winter. When it did rain, the rain did not seep into the jacket, though, and I do not believe that snow would penetrate either. It also dried immediately upon getting indoors. I love all the pockets, too - there are so many are they are very large. It's also very stylish and matches anything that I wear. There're endless great things I could say about this product!
The only two bad things I would say about it is that it's a little heavy, but that's understandable, and sometimes the zipper is hard to zip up.

I bought this coat, so I could stand outside at recess and watch elementary students. It is fantastic at blocking wind and I LOVE the built in mittens.

This is a very stylish parka. The hood is warm and the collar helps with cold winds (I live in Michigan). I wish the pockets were located a bit lower for more comfortable use. The coat is warm, especially with the hood on, but because it is loose on the bottom, the wind can get under it easily. I am 6 foot 1, so most coats are too short with sleeves that are not long enough. This parka is perfect for a tall girl with long arm and the cuffs leave my hands warm. I usually wear size 8 but got a Large for extra length and room for a sweater. Overall, I would recommend this coat!.

I have always owned TNF parkas, but this one is hands down the warmest. The only cons to the jacket are overall fit. I ordered a small since that is what I always wear, but the small was tight in the chest and short in the sleeves. The medium is a little big overall, but I don't care what I look like when it's freezing outside.

At 5'9" and 165 lbs I usually order a large, but your sizing help suggested an XL for a looser fit that will allow for a warm sweater. By cinching in the waist I get the right fit. It is in the 40's now and I arrive home after a dog walk nice and warm. This is a great coat. I used to have the NFace thigh length puffy coat but, although it was warm, it wasn't waterproof and I got tired of the "Michelin man" look. I agree that the top on this coat is a little more snug fit than I would like but I am a B cup so it's not a big problem. NF needs to listen and correct with their supplier.

This coat is great for frigid, windy days! A great length, even though I would consider myself shorter than average. My only complaint would be that the shoulders are a bit narrow for my preference and slightly restricts movement. Also, I LOVE that there are two, technically three, sets of pockets! Overall, I would definitely recommend this coat to anyone looking for a thick, warm, lasting coat.

I am not happy in cold weather. This parka keeps me warm and snug. I feel protected from the wind, rain and cold temperatures. I am old school and keep my winter coats for several years. I have no doubt this jacket will will serve me well for that. I really lve how I look in it and how I feel in it.

This coat is great! It's nice and warm, just tested it today in -10C with a windchill of -20C and no real layering, just a t-shirt and light cashmere sweater. I can fit a fleece under it although it's a bit bulky (not overly restrictive). The XS fits perfectly and it's amazing how flattering and striking (in red!) the coat looks despite being warm. I'm 5'5, about 31/25/36 with a 28DD/E bust (equivalent to a 32C on a small ribcage). The construction is really solid and it's truly windproof. I will happily wear this for the rest of my life of they keep making it in 20 years!

I am 5' 4" tall and 150 lbs. The coat is a bit snug in the chest area. I think that if you could adjust the back belt one more notch bigger, it would be perfect if you want to layer. However, I love the slimmer look, and it kept me toasty warm in Palmer AK, which is why I bought it. I would definitely buy this coat again.
