Purchased this jacket after a large search for something perfect for my daughter to take to school back east for the winter months. She loved this jacket in the dark grey best. She felt like it flattered her, and she felt good in it. For reference, she is 5'6", an athletic size 10, shoulders are not too broad, and we kept the medium. The large was just a bit too large and oversized for her.

I ordered an XS for my daughter who is going to college in PA. She is 5’4” and 109 lbs. The coat was a perfect fit with enough room to wear a fairly thick sweater. The snap adjustments are great and give the slimming look she wanted. The coat’s outer material was a great texture and the quilted inner layer was soft and not bulky. She instantly felt warm when she put it on and the fleece around the face when she zipped it all the way up felt great. The hood fit just right to cover her head but not too forward to prevent her from seeing. We took a lot of time to research and read reviews before we purchased this coat and we could not be happier!

I bought this coat for my daughter who is heading to the East Coast for School. I wanted a coat that could withstand the winters, but was not too bulky. So far looks good. She will have to test it out when winter arrives. The only thing she had problems with, was the zippers. More human error than product so far.

I absolutely love this coat! So warm and stylish! I usually wear a small in North Face - 5'3 117 pounds- but I found this coat ran small.

This jacket, with its flat black water repellent finish, is about as sleek as a giant parka can be. I’m 5’4” and 125 lbs, and a small fits snugly but still allows a fleece underneath.

The product is too expensive for the quality.

Great jacket! Lots of pockets and an adjustable waistband. And I love that it comes in a grey color. However, I ended up returning it because I found the Arctic II to be a better fit for me (5'11", 135 lbs) plus it was cheaper.

Great coat for work in Toronto when winter arrives. Snow or rain, artic cold- you are ready for anything.

Quite a heavy coat, a bit bulky looking. But very warm.

This is a substantial, stylish coat. I am just under 5'4" & 130 lbs & I found that the medium fits like a dream. This is my "I live in the Midwest & I am not messing around by buying flimsy, cheap coats anymore" coat. The only minus is that it tends to leak feathers, but I wonder if this is the nature of all coats of this caliber. I could always layer up with a windbreaker underneath. Like some reviewers noted, this coat is heavy, but I imagine that is due to its warmth.

This is a gift for my mother in law. Once she get her correct size. I'm sure she will be happy with this jacket.

Beautiful Coat! A little heavy but amazing quality. Love that it has snap buttons instead of velcro!

I was very excited about this coat however after receiving it I'm on the fence. Not sure if I like it. When I walk the bottom button makes a noise unless I button it. I'm 5'3 125 and the med might be a tad big. I have hips so I think the small would be too small. The collar is restricting but maybe it time it will loosen up. I walk to work in chicago so i needed something very warm and i def think this coat will do that. Just won't be an everyday coat. I like the hood..Very big and keeps the wind off my face.

She uses this coat on the very cold days. Even the days where it not as cold, she still wears it because it's comfortable.

I've had many name brand winter jackets but this one tops them all. It's really comfortable and warm. I live in the UP ( Upper Michigan) and it gets COLD so I needed something warm to get me through the winter and I finally found it! Thank you Northface for creating the perfect coat/jacket for me.

I live in So. California and I know I probably won't need this much here but I love to travel and adventure out. This is perfect for the arctic and in locations where I might be traveling in the winter. It took me a while to find it in TNF red. It looks like TNF has discontinued it (why?!?). Luckily I found an online retailer who had it in the color AND size I needed. The only downside was that it was full price. I thought about it for a while and in the end decided to splurge. I received the parka today and it's gorgeous in person! The color is striking and the construction is high quality. I really like that TNF used a faux fur for the hood because honestly that is what was keeping me from buying Canada Goose. And the down feathers are responsibly sourced too. I got the XS and it fits perfectly on me. I am 5'7", 104lbs, 30C chest. I can wear maybe two layers underneath and be toasty. This parka is worth the money so if you're on the fence and need to invest in a parka, I would not hesitate to get this one. I have another Parka by Patagonia which I absolutely love too but I wanted a red one for that added pop of color in a sea of black coats in the winter.

It is a great jacket for cold weather in rainy days. it is perfect style especially when you go to school or go to work. The zipper is kind of a hustle to get it together and set it up other than that I love the jacket I will recommend it.

I love this parka! I've never had anything this warm! It kept me warm and comfortable even in the extreme temps we get in Boston. No wind penetrates it either. Loveee

I wanted to invest in a long-term parka that I can enjoy for years. This is definitely it. Very warm and light. I can definitely use for regular cold days. I can layer up and use it for extreme weathers or layer down for casual cold weathers. Good for snow and rain also. If I were to say any negative things is that I got a size small and it restricts my movement a bit. But all in all, I love this parka and the color is very stylish too.

I use this coat for everyday wear and it holds up great! I'm never too hot while wearing it and it's light weight which is a great plus. Rain never seems in and rolls right off of it. Very happy with this purchase. The craftsman ship is impeccable. I can tell the coat will last for years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for cold winters, wet weather, windy days, and comfort!

I work at a school in southern New Hampshire and for recess we have to stand out outside. Through the wind, snow, and rain this coat is amazing. It keeps me warm during the hours I have to be outside and it stands up to the unpredictable weather. I'm very happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research before I decided on this one, and I'm glad I chose it. Thanks North Face!

I got this parka in December 2017. It's light warm and fits great. I like the fact that the rim around the hoodie is not real fur! So to some degree the jacket is also cruelty free.
