I wear a size 14, and an XL in every brand. I ordered an XL, and it was TIGHT with just a tank top underneath. VERY disappointing.

Love the quality material, very warm, and nice color. But the neck part is very tight for an XL. I have a Suttle Mountain Jacket from Columbia size XL and the neck part is much wider. With the Icelandite, I could not zip through the neck part and I only wear non-hooded fleece jacket inside. Maybe next time Columbia could widen the neck part when making jacket with this particular pattern (Icelandite has top back and shoulder pattern that makes the jacket narrowing to the neck part.)

It's a nice jacket that will keep you warm and cozy in winter, however, I found the jacket a bit bulky. Especially, the pockets at the bottom (the skirt area) look too big and baggy when you fully zip the jacket. It may have something to do with how it was folded during the packaging, I'm not sure. I may try to iron the pockets a little bit before wearing the first time. Hopefully it will help with the look. Right now, it is looking less neat than the photo on the model, taking from the front angle.

This jacket is warm, but it runs really big for me (I'm petite and 5'4"), so it's a little too bulky and not flattering on me. I'm sad that I'll end up having to return because I would've kept it otherwise.

I am 5'3 tall, weights 125 lbs, skinny body shape. The armholes are small for this jacket size M. No spaces for armpits at all if wearing a second layer. This issue is really bothering me. In MN winter I do wear 2 layers of clothing. There are feathers down stick onto my sweater after 1 wearing. The 2 pockets with zippers, on the waist heights are great features. A+. I keep the jacket but have to carry with me a second sweater. I would love to recommenced the product if the armhole cut bigger.

This coat looks and feels very high quality. It is best suited for very cold climates, if you'll be outside a lot. It is quite heavy in weight. I typically wear an XL, and that's what I ordered, this coat runs small or has a design flaw. Particularly the underarm cutouts were very tight and I don't have big arms. I returned it.

This is over all an absolutely delightful coat. Very well-made and quite beautiful I've received multiple compliments on it. It definitely keeps me warm and dry. It is, however, extremely annoying that the two way zipper keeps unzipping from the bottom. I can't seem to find any way to keep this from happening. With this one exception it is an absolutely wonderful coat

I wanted to love this jacket, it is very warm and seems well constructed, but it bells out at the bottom in a weird way. Just couldn't get over it, had to return

The hood is so problematic. I feel like I'm carrying all the weight of the coat on my neck and it's not a light jacket at all.

Jacket is way too heavy. Seems like it's good quality and would keep you warm but I would get tired just wearing it. I had to return it. Hoping the return arrives since the tracking is showing it has been all over the US by now. I just wish Columbia would offer free shipping return labels for APO locations.

This is a very highly prized down jacket that really is not worth the money they charge it's not as warm as I thought it would be. It's tight across the chest but big around the hips so it creates a little bit of a tent like look. I live in Phoenix, so I expected this jacket to be warm enough for our chilly evenings and mornings, and it really isn't all that great. Looking to return this. Not impressed at all.

I sized up like the website suggested and it was a mistake. I was swimming in the coat. In my opinion, the flint gray color runs true to size. I normally wear a small in other brands. A medium was much too large. I am 5'8" and 140 lbs.

Returned the coat. Didn't like the outside fabric feel like plastic. The size doesn't fit well, too large around shoulders and the sleeves are too. I'm 5,7 and 123 lbs.

This coat is extremely well made, however, it is so very heavy! I was surprised that no one mentioned this. I got worried when I lifted the package off my porch, but was hopeful the weight would disperse when I put it on. It was so heavy that I knew instantly it had to go back. It's also not as flattering as it looks in pictures. It kind of flails out at the hips, and the belt cinch in the back couldn't be used to adjust the waist on my 5'4" (128lb) frame. It was much too high so the "waist" wasn't on my actual waist. I noticed the model wearing the coat is 6'1", so it seems to flatter a VERY tall form. I returned and ordered the Heavenly long hooded coat. Hoping it's a better match for me!

I bought this coat at the beginning of winter. I have bought past versions of this coat as well. I do not recommend buying this one. The past versions of this coat were great. This one was not worth the money I spent on it. The hood is too small and does not far enough over my head. The fur is lacking and cheap. I have animals and all their hair sticks to the coat. The new material is cheaper quantity. This was not the case for past versions. I wish I hadn't spent the money this winter for this lackluster item.

I wanted a warm jacket for my trip to Europe this winter. This was definitely warm enough but way too bulky. Also zipper was difficult to open and close.

The quality is not good at all. The zipper is very cheap and every time I have to struggle with it. The fabric is bad and it attracts fuzz a lot

I need a new coat for this winter and I really wanted to love this. However when I put it on, it is tight everywhere and I ordered a size up! Too bad, have to return.

I ordered the wrong size and won't be able to use what seems like an excellent coat, because of it. The site is sold out and I ordered based 1) on the Columbia mighty lite coat I own in a Large that fits me perfectly and 2) reviews that said this coat ran small. Completely incorrect. The Large is huge. I am 5'7", 145 and have broad shoulders... It doesn't fit with two sweatshirts on. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!

Yes i like it but all the feathers from inside come out and i dont like that.
