Light weight jacket, but it runs very small. It looks very puffy in but it is not. It is thin and light weight. I normally fit in a med. and it was to small. I needed a large.

I hope this product meets its description. But it's not water resistant! I'm so disappointed.

The jacket is nice, but not at all what I was expecting :( its a very light compact jacket. I wanted and thought this would be a warmer winter jacket. For the price I paid for it I did expect something a lot better. it also runs about 2 sizes smaller than normal sizing.

I paid a lot of money for this coat and it is not warm at all. I now have to look for a warmer coat because there are spots in it where I feel cold air.

Great light-weight puffy, good for temperatures in the high 20's 30's F but I get a little chilly wearing the mine if it gets much colder. Quality of construction is average, I'd say fair for the price. Mine fits true to size in the arms and chest but flares out a little too much at the waist. I think this is why I get cold in lower temperatures. If I could add a feature, it would be a draw string in the waist. Most down jackets I've purchased have this feature and it really helps cut down on drafts/chill factor. All in all a good middle of the road jacket if you aren't in a super cold climate.

I got this jacket because I wanted a coat that would hold up well in the rain during a Pacific Northwest fall and winter. I wore it on a day that I was outside for many hours and it was raining the whole time. It really did serve its purpose well! The hood is large enough to keep rain out of my face, and the coat repels water very well and dries off really fast after coming back inside. The hand cuffs with thumb holes do a good job at keeping cool air from getting inside the arms, but the fabric of these cuffs is extremely thin and doesn't warm the hands in any way which I found disappointing. I got the coat in the dusty purple color and it looks less dark in person than it does in the photo, which I'm not crazy about. The jacket is somewhat thin and I did still find myself a bit chilly at times wearing it. I also wish they made a coat like this in a "mid-size" length, as opposed to only the regular/short and long length styles they currently have. I really like when a coat hits my upper thigh, almost mid-thigh but not too close to the knee. Columbia doesn't seem to offer many jackets at this desired length. It fit pretty true to size, though the arms seem a little big. It's a well made jacket but if you are looking for something to keep you really warm on very cold days or in the snow it may not be enough. It's a great option as a rain jacket/light winter coat hybrid.

This jacket seemed like everything I've been looking for. It's well constructed, soft and cozy, feels true to size, and the color I ordered (deep rust) is beautiful. BUT: the shape is weird - very boxy, and tent-like from mid-body to bottom hem. Plus, the contour of the drop tail is pretty severe, which isn't necessarily bad, but with the tent-like flow, it's kind of billowy overall. Not a good look. And could get drafty. Super bummed to have to return.

Not as warm as my old coat. Plus the fabric in the arms came apart. I am using it til the end of the year

I bought this jacket in April 2023. I only started wearing it in December 2023, and really liked the color and the fit. Unfortunately, the zipper broke in Jan 2024. Only a few months after I started wearing it, the zipper got stuck; I was able to get to get it unstock, but I can only wear it open. I am pretty disappointed, because I really like the jacket otherwise.

Thought this was a great coat but the zipper already split up from the bottom in my second wear! What a disappointment :( and it's not a tight fit so can't blame my stomach.

This jacket was described as "lightweight" but it's actually quite heavy compared to the down jackets I'm used to. It's thin but it feels heavy in weight. I'm returning it and going with a down jacket instead.

I really wanted to like this, and it is disappointing that I have to return it but unless you have literally no curves to your hips, this jacket does not work. The bottom was way too tight, I had to bunch it up above my pants in order for it to even zipper. It definitely runs very narrow, not fit for anyone who may not be. The shoulder area was also restricting and even just lifting up, you could immediately feel it didn't fit right. I got a medium and I typically wear smalls in other jackets similar.. just an overall design not suited for anyone who isn't narrow. I know it says slim fit, so just take that to heart when you buy it because it truly is. Positive notes, I loved the color and the quality of it was great but not enough to fix the issue at hand. I really wish this wasn't fit so weirdly or else I probably would have kept it or ordered more in the future.

Too small! I normally wear small in all other Columbia gear I've purchased, but this jacket was so tight are the bottom and shoulders that I had to return it. I loved that it was lightweight and had a hood and was otherwise a flattering silhouette, but athletic-shaped women shouldn't be made to feel that their normal size is too small, especially from an outdoor brand that focuses on an active lifestyle.Why make a jacket that doesn't fit around a shapely bottom that is a result of working out regularly, hiking, etc.?

Arm seam ripped the first week of wearing. Should have seen it coming since there were strings hanging off both sleeves. Got it repaired and now, 4 months later, another seam in the arm has ripped again! Disappointed by Columbia normally I consider their products reliable but not this time. Their jackets are overpriced for what you receive.

Small. I'm usually a Medium and I ordered a size up for a sweater. The jacket was too small and the zipper was defective.

Loved the color on this jacket but fit runs small returned it.

This was an XXL not a 2X, but advertised as a 2X. There is a difference in an XXL and 2X sizes so it does not fit. Also, I paid extra for it to be delivered by 12/29 for a trip and it got here 12/30. The coat in general is not made like previous Columbia versions - thinner material and doesn't have a tie at the bottom for extra warmth. Overall disappointed with this order.

Had this jacket for 2 weeks, wore maybe 5 times. Fits great, very warm, BUT the outside material is very thin. I pulled up the sleeves just a little and the seams busted. Now there's a hole in the sleeve. This is my 5th Columbia coat, the most expensive and the cheapest material. Very disappointed.

Not happy with the fit on this jacket. I bought this for my daughter who normally wears an XL, I sized up based on other reviews but it was too big. The arms were too long, and too much of an opening around the waist. I returned it but did not order a smaller size because I was charged to ship back

This coat is super cute but it isn't warm at all. It's basically a wind breaker.

Very thin, was expecting a puffy warm winter coat. and the white color is grey. I was hoping for a white jacket that looks like the photo.

Bought new Nov 2nd and am having constant zipper problems. The zipper constantly rips open and sticks, rendering the jacket useless and my money spent a waste. Now having to buy an entirely new jacket but of course from elsewhere!
