I originally bought a size medium and it was too snug with layers underneath. The large fit perfectly! I LOVE that it has zipper pockets. The inside pocket is my favorite feature. I'm in New York right now and was able to put all my important things in the inside pocket without having to bring my purse! It was very thin which is what I wanted, I hate bulky coats. It has been warm but I wish it was a little warmer. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I don't need to layer up underneath

I was looking for something a little warmer, so I was disappointed that this didn't work out. I also have pretty long arms, so the sleeves were a little too short. (This is a common problem for me.)

This jacket is very flattering and light, but keeps me warm on milder winter days (20 degrees or warmer). It's great for layering and I have received many compliments on it. I like the cuffs on the sleeves that also have thumb holes for extra comfort. I wish it had a chest pocket for my phone.

This jacket blocks the wind very well ,I was out on a very windy day and I was not cold.

I love this jacket! It's so warm and cozy. I've been wearing it in the 30s - mid 20s and it's kept me super warm! I do feel like it runs a little big - kinda wish I'd gotten a medium instead of a large. I also wish the hood was removable but I love the furry inside as it helps keep the hood from blowing off in the wind. The silver lining is unique and has caught a lot of attention! I actually would prefer it not be so shiny but it does keep you warm! And thank you for the zippered pockets!!! Would definitely recommend.

I ordered the blue color, size large ( I am 5'7" 140lbs) jacket fits great, the color is really nice a bit lighter than navy blue, I really love then sleeves the thumb hole comfort cuff keeps out the cold. The only negative is that the jacket is a bit thinner than I expected, I'm worried it won't keep me warmer enough when the weather get colder.

The coat is very warm, I got the nori green and love the color. Very comfortable to wear.

Your product is really good but it would be easier if the arrival time and the return time was smaller

I gave mostly 4/5 stars because I haven't worn it in a Michigan winter yet. I love how the jacket looks and feels. I'm 5'2 and weight 115lbs. I ordered a small and it fits nice. I love the cuffed sleeves with thumb holes. That will help with keeping the wind out during winter recess duty. The hood fits well and is lined with fleece.

This jacket is lightweight and comfortable. Haven't tested it out in the really cold MN winters yet, but with a few extra layers it should be warm!

Nice coat, true to fit. I love how thin it is and how the hood lies back on the jacket. I love the outside Pockets with zippers, nice and big to keep my gloves in and I love the inside zip pocket as well. I do have concerns on how thin it is and if it's going to keep me warm in Michigan when temperatures get below 30. So far it has kept me warm in the forties but my concerns are there for this winter. I would recommend temperature rating on jackets so we know what to purchase. I think had I known temperature rating I might have gone one coat thicker.

Love how light weight the coat is, but still keeps you warm! Bought this coat in a size of the another Columbia coat. Wish I would have bought a size smaller. Otherwise I really like the coat!

Not what I was looking for. It's a very light weight coat, but the arms are so narrow, you can't fit much under it to stay warm on 50 degree days - and I have toothpick arms, so the arm tightness is a surprising styling choice. Other than that, well made.

I expected the color to be close to white, but it's really more beige/tan. It fit well except for the sleeves, which were weirdly tight around the forearms. I ended up returning this jacket.

Really warm and light weight but zipper keeps separating

I wish someone had written a review about the light blue color. It is NOT light blue it is mint green. Oh why can't columbia post true colors of these to save people the misery of having to return.

I had tried on a LARGE in an actual store of a DIFFERENT Columbia Winter insulated jacket. It was down so I thought this "thinner" jacket would fit even better. NO: this is so tight and I own a Columbia Benton Fleece in Large. This Heavenly Jacket was TOO tight across the Chest; Too Tight in the arm pit /Upper Arm area; and tight over the stomach. The HIPS (mine are bigger) were FINE. For me: IT is usually the HIPS that can be too tight (OR Upper Arms). No clue IF the XL will be huge in the hips! Jacket has a NICE length in back so you would NOT be sitting on a COLD car seat in Winter!!

I love this coat and it keeps me warm without all the bulk ones. I ordered the purple but received the blue this the three stars. This is my second purchase of this style.

Smalls are typically a little big to perfect for me in Columbia products. I am 5'1", 118 lb, C/D32, with a short torso and a curvy petite frame. This coat fit tightly around my wrists and fit snuggly around my hips causing a weird fold around my natural waist. Loved the idea of this coat but unfortunately the fit was not good considering how many good reviews it had.

Very fitted, a little too puffy for my body, and sleeves too long. I really need a petite size but it's not offered in these jackets, so tried a regular small. Returned for different style.

Hmmmm...I love the design. The stitching is slenderizing rather than typical horizontal stripes, which make me look short and fat. The hood has a minky lining that is extra warm and soft. I love the thumb holes. Problem--the body is kinda big, and the sleeves are TOO SHORT. I almost exchanged the medium for a small, but I knew the sleeves would never work. I wish there was a draw string on hood and at the bottom, since the jacket runs big. Drawstrings could help block wind when I'm hiking. I'm only 5'3" (135#). If you are taller, the sleeves will likely be short for you, so you won't be able to take advantage of the cuff with thumb holes.
