I love this coat. It keeps me warm in freezing weather while being lightweight thanks to the special Omni-heat reflective lining. Due to health issues, I cannot wear heavy coats but I need to stay warm and this coat meets my needs. I try to get one every year but this year I got two because the store I usually order them from sold out of them quickly.

This product is light weight but very warm.

My prayers have been answered with my Heavenly Long Hooded Jacket! I purchased a short version of this jacket two years ago and absolutely love it but needed a long jacket with a hood for winter weather and tried, unsuccessfully, all last year to find one. I was determined not to miss out this season so ordered it as soon as I saw it available on line. So pleased with it, it is the warmest and most comfortable coat I have ever had! Thanks for such a wonderful product.

A colleague who grew up in the midwest says it's the warmest and lightest coat she's ever owned. Just trying it on at home I could feel it using my body heat, so I'm waiting for the first real cold to test it out. I love how light it is, and since I live near the beach and it's always windy here, I suspect it'll become a favorite VERY quickly. Sizing note: the 1x fit me perfectly. TOO perfectly. I wouldn't be able to wear more than a t-shirt under it, so I exchanged it for a 2x.

This coat is super warm in cold temps! I love it. The hood is super soft and the thumb holes are great. However, I got a size bigger then I normally wear cause a lot of the reviews said that the coat runs true to size and I wanted to be safe on the size. I may order another one in a different color, since I love it so much!!!! :)

Hi, I bought 13 coats last year! Where was this last year?! I have long arms and this fits! The color is so pretty, like really pretty! :) The coat is light, but I know from past Columbia coats that the Omni reflective whatever is warm and toasty! Do yourself a favor, and just do it...

This coat is lightweight and very warm.

I have had many cold weather coats over the years in every style. This is my new favorite winter coat. There is much to love; The length is perfect, it keeps my bottom and thighs toasty, but isn't binding. The inner sleeve cuffs with thumb holes keeps the cold out and the sleeves down. The weight is super light, but the Omni Core keeps me warm without making me sweat. The fabric repels water along with dirt and stains. The hood is roomy enough to wear a toboggan under and is lined with super soft fleece. The cut is flattering and roomy enough to wear sweaters or layers under without making me look bulky.

This is a great coat. Relatively sleek for how warm it is. The thumb detail is my favorite!

I was in need of a new winter jacket. I love the length of this one and the thumb holes are a bonus!!

As anyone who's plus size knows, it's nearly impossible to find anything that's comfortable, fashionable, and sufficiently functional. Seriously, I had all but given up on finding a winter coat that met all of the above. And then I stumbled upon this coat and thought, "Why not? If it doesn't work (or if I look like a bell in it) I'll send it back." I am soooo glad I did. This coat is awesome!! My chest measured at a 3X but a lot of reviews mentioned that it ran a little large, so I took my chances on ordering a 2X -- it fits perfectly with enough room to wear a sweater or sweatshirt. I didn't rate this coat on function because it's September, but I genuinely cannot wait for the temperatures to drop and the snow to fall so I can wear it in public. This coat feels good, looks good, and when I slip it on it instantly begins warming my core. Thank you, Columbia, for accommodating plus size women!! You've won another loyal, life-long customer!!

I purchased this for NYC winters. It's very warm and comfortable.

This jacket is amazing. I have it in black and had to order another color because I'm crazy about it! It's light weight but WARM!!! Not bulky at all. It's also nice and long so it covers the tops of your legs also. I have a long commute to work on the train daily, and then a walk to my office and this jacket provides warmth without getting over heated. My kids also play football and this jacket is perfect for cold games!!! I despise being cold and this jacket is my go to. I could go on and on but the bottom line is I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this jacket!!

This jacket is of great quality. The fit is true to size. Love the fact that there are thumb holes on the sleeves.

Light weight but warm and I love that the lining has holes for your thumbs to cover your hands. This coat will be perfect for my cruise in Alaska soon. I sized up one size so I could wear extra layers underneath.

This product is extremely comfy. Not to thin but also not to heavy. It's the perfect winter wear for those snowy, cold days. The only thing which is a good thing for most is it runs big for those extra sweaters for cardigans. But If your looking for you size just go down one size. I would highly recommend.

I made my first purchase of a Columbia product in November of 2017. I had been looking for a down coat for the winter, but I always have trouble finding anything to fit (I'm plus sized), that comes in any other color than black. I did a google search and found that Columbia has extended sizes and "Omni Heat" material. I was unsure of how this experience would go, but I took a chance anyaway. I ordered this beautiful Purple, extended size coat and I must say I am very happy! I love the quality, the fit, and the warmth! I am very satisfied with my purchase of Columbia products...so much so, that I am looking into purchasing the Minx Mid II Omni Heat snow boot!!! I'm feeling confident about this Chicago winter in my Columbia gear. I don't know what took me so long.

The jacket has proven to be exactly what I wanted and needed. A warm coat that stacks up against the other big brands. Stylish and covers my backside so I am not freezing in the Rocky Mountain winters. Wore it the last few weeks as we are just getting into our sub zero time of year. So happy to have thumbholes, nice big hood to cover my hat and with some layering l think I will get through the winter just fine. My only issue with this coat so far and the reason I did not give it 5 stars is with the zipper. It sticks pretty badly when getting the coat zipped up. Pay close attention to the sizing charts and use a tape measure on the first time orderting to save yourself the hassle of returning. When i went by the size chart it was very true to size. Very flattering coat I will use for years to come.

I love that this coat is not bulky, but it manages to still keep me very warm. The long length is great and it is very comfortable.

This jacket is AWESOME, I looked for weeks to find the right one for me and this is definitely it. The length is great and the fit it very flattering. The omni heat is amazing, the jacket is not bulky but will surely keep you warm. I highly recommend this!
