After shopping around for a couple of months for a good waterproof and warm coat for an upcoming Iceland trip, I found the Heavenly long hooded jacket on the Columbia website. This coat is not only waterproof, it is also wind proof and thermal. I was expecting an incredibly thick coat to stand up to water, wind and to keep me warm but this coat does not disappoint. I highly recommend this coat if you spend any time outside, whether walking the dog or going on a hike.

I was tired of big bulky jackets that were hard to move and drive in. This is lightweight yet still keeps you very warm. There is a double zipper that is great for when you're driving, and a nice lined hood. I wore this all day long in inclimate weather at an outdoor hockey game last weekend and I remained warm and dry. Will definitely purchase again once this one bites the dust.

I love this jacket! The omni-heat technology is amazing, keeps me toasty on cold mornings. This jacket has the thumb holes which is a must for me and a two way zipper that rocks. There aren't many outdoor companies that have plus sizes true to size. I will never buy another brand. I love Columbia and I love the way they stand behind their products!

This coat exceeded my expectations. It was warm, cozy, and it looked stylish -- not like past bulky coats I've had!

I love this coat, roomy enough for sweaters and light weight but very warm. Only problem i have is that it is difficult to get zipper started.

I love this jacket. My daughter bought me the Mighty Lite long hooded jacket four years ago and I loved it. I was ready for a new jacket and thought I would try this one. It is great for my grandson's hockey games and it is perfect for our Northern Lower Michigan winters. It is so warm and the length is perfect.

This jacket is absolutely perfect. I purchased upon recommendation from a friend and have absolutely no regret. The length and weight are just what I was looking for. Speaking of the light weight, don't let the it fool you... the Omni-Heat built in keeps you plenty warm on those blistery days.

Jacket is lightweight but warm. Perfect for taking on European trip next November. Don't like short jackets so length is perfect.

I have purchased MANY Columbia jackets over the years for everyone in our family and this has been a favorite ! LOVE the omni-heat liner, longer sleeve lentgh with added bonus of thumb holes for driving without need of gloves in Mn. cold winters! The super soft hood lining is yet another awesome feature. I honestly cant say enough about this jacket !! Wish I had one in every color!

Love this jacket! Light enough I don't feel "hemmed in" but warm enough to wear during Ohio winters. The two way zipper makes sliding in and out of car easy. Great length for pants or dresses.

I love this new coat. I have many coats but I find them bulky and uncomfortable-not this coat. Thin and light but keeps you warm. Long so it covers your butt and keeps it warm too. Love that you can zip up from the bottom and open it so that while you're sitting in the car it's more comfortable. Looks good too. I've gotten so many compliments on it. Thanks Columbia!

This jacket fulfilled my search for a lightweight yet warm jacket for the Chicago winter. The color makes it a unique choice among the dark puffer coats usually available. I am extremely happy to have found this jacket.

Nice that Columbia makes a good looking technical coat in plus size. The coat is warm, yet light weight and features a hood and zipper pockets. to top it off the coat looks good too!

I am so pleased with this coat, lightweight and so warm. As a plus sized woman, I did not want to add bulk with my coat. This coat fits the bill. This is my second Columbia winter coat - I needed a longer one too!

This jacket has been great for me so far! I've had it for 2 months and I absolutely love it! I thought it would be a little bit longer, but when I stand I'm just happy it covers my butt and that's all I could ask for. I usually wear a 1X-2X in tops. I ordered a 2X for this and it's nice because I can still wear a hooded sweatshirt underneath and I am still very comfortable and have enough room. I do have a couple of strings that are poking out, but nothing too serious. I know I am going to have this jacket for a couple of years and it is definitely worth the money! Very happy with my purchase!

My jacket is Well made and warm. I have worn it several times now. I like that its light weight and covers my butt. I live in ND and its windy here most days so the extra length is what I wanted. I would highly recommend. My family has several Columbia coats and jackets that are good quality being several years old and still are worn and in good shape.

I really love this jacket. It's so warm and yet lightweight. I wore it for the first time on a few 30 degree days with just a T-shirt on underneath and was totally comfortable. I'm 5' 6" and weigh 200 pounds, with most of my weight in the hips, and the 1x fits with just a little ease in the hips. The coat length hits about the mid-upper thigh on me. The cut is great - very flattering for this curvy girl!

This coat is just what I was looking for! I love the longer length and warm without being heavy and bulky. Great for running errands and to and from work. It has the omni heat lining which is wonderful. It is in another jacket that I have and I love it!

For all intents & purposes, this coat is amazing. Temps dipped the other day and I was so warm I didn't even realize until i noticed my gloveless hands and face were hurting from the wind. However, with my hood up, the only places I felt any measure of cold were the parts that were uncovered by this coat. I was concerned at first because its so thin and light but it works! The pockets are super warm and fleecy on the inside. Love the inner pocket as well. My only concern is that is tends to get stuck when you zip it up and design wise, I would've liked one of those elastic cords at the bottom to pull in closer to my body. This might also be because I bought the wrong size but even having one of those on the inside of the coat (elastic cord) to cinch in the waist would be useful as well. I will say this is true to size (3x). I went up a size thinking i'd need the extra room but tbh I didn't. A 2x would've done just fine. I know different companies list different sizes so I'd suggest going by your bust/waist/hip measurements with this one. Mine are 43-40-52.

Super warm, love the long length and fits true to size. I bought it a bit bigger to wear some warmer clothes under it (for a trip), but works well as an everyday coat too!

I have been a long time purchaser of Columbia Jackets. This is a great jacket to have. It's lightweight and very warm without making you feel overheated. I did find it to be a little bigger than I thought but I like my jackets to have room when moving around or sitting scrunched in the car.
