Lightweight and not bulky, the wamth this jacket provides is perfect for our cold and snowy Indiana winters. The thumb holes of the inner sleeve make sure my wrists stay warm and dry. This is my 4th Columbia jacket; I won't purchase anything else.

Great light, comfy jacket. I got the purple color and it is beautiful. I love throwing this jacket on to walk the dog or run to the store. It is light yet warm. I liked it so much that I bought a second one in black.

This is the perfect jacket for someone who is outside a lot throughout the year. It's warm, lightweight, comfortable & practical. I have a dog, a preschooler, and a baby and I wear this coat most days if the weather calls for it.

I bought this for an upcoming trip so I haven't worn it in really cold temps yet. For now, I rated the jacket as good. It's lightweight and provided warmth on the occasions I used it. I wanted something I could put in a backpack if I needed to and this will definitely work. I originally ordered a medium (which I normally wear) but found I wouldn't be able to wear extra layers. So I ordered a large which gave me extra space, but isn't too large if I don't need the extra layers.

I love how comfortable this coat is. Plus it keeps me very warm. Also love the pieces that cover your hands. Definitely helps when driving to keep hands warm. I have always had Columbia coats. And This one doesn't disappoint.

Two of us got very wet on the neck, back and elbows after walking under the rain without an umbrella. And not for a long period of time at all. Was told that water resistant doesn't mean it won't soak water... Very disappointed...

I have wanted to purchase this coat for a while. I finally did it and couldn't be happier with my purchase! I live in Michigan where the cold and wind can be brutal. The coat is lightweight, yet keeps me warm. The fit is perfect, it's comfortable and not too bulky for riding in the car.

I purchased this jacket during an end of season sale to use for next winter. I normally wear a size medium in clothing, but I like my jackets to be a little larger, especially winter jackets, so I can wear heavy sweaters underneath if necessary. I might have been able to get away with a medium on this coat, but I don't mind the extra room. The coat is very lightweight, but the insulation and warming features are great. I love how the sleeves have a fleecy wrist with thumb holes - big fan. I got the black cherry color and I love it. I'm 5'9" and this coat falls below mid-thigh, but above the knee. I compared a few similar coats across different companies and I'm happy to have landed on this one.

I purchased this jacket last winter. I love the length and even being thin it is REALLY warm. That silver lining really holds in the heat! I am 5'5 and 147# and the large gives me that little bit more room to wear a heavy sweater and not feel stuffed in it. I recently sent in for warranty repair because a pocket zipper had broken and I have to say I was really missing it! Because of their extraordinary warranties on their line is the reason I will be a lifelong Columbia buyer for myself and my family! Thanks for the speedy turnaround Columbia!

I got this to work outside bus duty as a teacher. I am outside in snow and rain all fall and winter and this coat has been perfect. It is so lightweight, yet warm and waterproof! I have also gotten so many compliments on it. Two additional friends have purchased it since seeing it on me.

This is the 3rd columbia jacket I have owned and it lived up to expectations. I am 5'3" and 132lb and a M fit so perfect. Sleeves and feel have that soft feel. Haven't yet wore it on a super cold day yet, so can't say how warm it can keep on below zero day... But definetly you need to have a full length layering inside.

Great long jacket. I live in Minnesota and it gets COLD here. I have found this jacket to be very warm if running errands and such in below zero weather. Love that is has double zipper that you can hike up when sitting in car, restaurants, etc. Has hand straps that go over which is a great feature. I am 5' 4" 135 lbs broader shoulders than most and the medium fit great

I LOVE LOVE this long hooded jacket! It is thin but VERY WARM! Easily worn in the car buckled up - no bunching, not constricting ! Cold winters here in Maine and this jacket keep me warm while I watch the school kids on the playground during recess I am 5'10" - coat is perfect length and arms length is good love the extra thumb hole

I was looking for a non down coat after reading how badly geese are treated for their fethers. I read up on Columbia's Omni Heat technology and searched for a longer coat for the depths of winter. I was fairly skeptical that it could keep me as warm as I needed and once it was delivered, was amazed at how light it was. WOW is all I can say, this little coat gets the job done, looks amazing on and is very figure flattering. I am so happy with this purchase.

I've been looking for the right insulated, long jacket that didn't make me look like a marshmallow and this is it! It's very warm, soft & flattering. I bought a black L and it fits great! I'm 5'7" and wear a 10 (to 12) pant size, 38 bra size. It's a little snug around the ribs if I have too many layers on, but if just a sweatshirt, it's good.

This coat is everything and more, I couldn't have asked for a better product. It's warm, lightweight, the right length, an excellent price, and it gives you all the specs you need to need that you know that you're buying a quality product. Thank you Lands End !!!

Love, love, love my new coat. Wore it to my Grandson 's lacross game . It was 39 degrees and I was warm as can be. By the way.....he scored a goal!

I absolutely love this coat! It keeps you warm in the very cold weather and not too hot in the chilly weather. I am 5'7" and weight about 130 pounds with a small frame (B cup size chest) and the small fit perfectly. I also have the same coat that comes to my waist in the small and loved it so much and is why I got the longer one. My friend is 5'6 and weighs about 145 pounds who is larger in the bust (D size cup) and the size medium fit her perfectly. I highly recommend this coat!

Product description was spot on! I thought I would need a larger size (L), but medium was the right fit. Tempted to get this coat in another color!

As expected a great all round jacket. The fit is great not tooo loose. The warmth factor is good, perhaps not as warm as my down coat , but the pros are it's much more light weight and not so bulky. This coat is perfect for everyday wear. The hood is warm and stays put does not slide off like many do. I like the hand warmer extensions they work well. The color is good I have black. This goes with everything. All in all a favorite coat and would highly recommend. The price was good and the quality and shipping were great too.
