This jacket is very lightweight which makes it easy to drive and move around in, but warm! True to size and Simple style which I love!

This jacket fits great. Love the warm lined hood, the wrist ribbing, the light-weight fabric, and the length. I look forward to wearing it this winter, as it seems super warm. My only complaint is the zipper is VERY difficult to get started. I hope I'm not in a hurry to get zipped up, as this could get frustrating.

Very light yet so warm, love my new jacket! Can't wait to try it in MN snow.

I've had the chance to wear this coat a few times this fall and it has kept me cozy and warm. One day we had wind gusts up to 40 mph and my jacket kept me warm while waiting for the bus. The pockets are soft and the hood fits great. Highly recommend this coat!

This coat was exactly as expected. Fits true to size, is warm, arms are long enough to my lengthy build. A little tight through the chest. Color was just like on the website. Quick shipping.

I bought this jacket in August. I live in New London, CT and there was a Nor'Easter blowing through yesterday and a few times it was even raining sideways! I finally had the opportunity to wear my jacket. Oh boy, was it ever warm! I was wearing it when I went for a walk on the waterfront. The winds were so strong that I was getting pushed around. I wore my Heavenly zipped all the way up to my chin with the hood up. My hood NEVER got blown off my head and my ears never got cold (I have a very short pixie style haircut). Also, the hood is lined with this very soft, short-shag fleece. My hands were so warm because of comfort cuff with thumb holes while leaving my fingers free to operate my phone and camera with no frustration. Plus, my bum stayed nice and toasty because of the length. It's a thin jacket but the Omni-heat technology makes this it so warm! When I got back to my car, I shook the rain off my jacket and the outer material was dry. It was like I never wore it in the rain! The only drawback is the dual directional zipper. It takes some getting used to, figuring out the correct way to zip it without getting it misaligned. I absolutely recommend this jacket!

I ordered this coat in a medium and a large - not knowing what would be my best fit. I am busty but have small hips. The medium was a beautiful fit with the exception of the bust. I opted for the large which is plenty big - but does not look huge on me. It is an extra 1-2" longer which was not a game changer (I was looking for it to be a little shorter). Love the red-blue (not too red and no orange) color, the weight of the coat and hopefully the warmness. So far, it has been perfect for the damp 35-50 degree days when a raincoat is not enough and your heaviest coat is too much.

My body temps (and blood pressure) are lower than average so I get cold easily. But I am tired of wearing big puffy coats and heavy jackets. I saw the description of this coat and decided to try it. I was not sure about the "silvery interior" part and what that would feel like. But I love this coat. Used it for walking the dogs around the sand dunes on a briskly windy and overcast afternoon near the ocean. I felt I could stay outdoors as long as I wanted, as I was not cold at all. I was comfortable and forgot about the brisk wind, as I was warm the whole time. And, I was not weighted down by extra clothing or a heavy or bulky coat. If it gets colder, there is still room for a couple more light layers, without being oversized. This is what I am talking about! Thank you!

After looking at several Columbia coats, I purchased this one based on the great reviews. It seemed to have the functionality I wanted (to keep a thin-ish girl warm when the temp dips to the teens & single digits), the style I was looking for (not too bulky, & long enough to cover my tush), and a price I could afford - with my coupon. THE GOOD: Love the color, the cuffs with thumbholes, the length, and the lined pockets & hood. THE BAD: It's not warm (not enough for me anyway). I'm glad I sized up, because I have to wear a jacket under my coat to be warm-ish at 40. I should not have to do this... The zipper is cranky - it usually takes me 3-5 tries to get the zipper to catch properly & zip up. And when the zipper is completely up, it hits at an awkward place under my chin. THE UGLY: While there's nothing "ugly" about this coat, it lays a bit funny on me. It's kind of a slight A-line design, and since I sized up based on reviews (I could have gotten away with my regular size), I feel like a bell. Maybe it's just that my torso is long & the waist hits me a lot higher than the average person, but I feel like I look bulky (too bad they don't have long torso sizes). It's probably too late to return/exchange it, so I guess I'll have to alter it somehow... >:/

I bought this jacket for my daughter for an early Christmas gift. She loves it! It fits her well and will keep her warm in the Wisconsin winter! The Omni heat thermal reflective lining keeps you warm without making the coat heavy when wearing. She has other Columbia coats but wanted one that was longer when the weather turns really cold. She liked that there was quite a variety of colors to choose from too!

Perfect length. I thought it would be too short but it's great. Hits mid-thigh and keeps you warm without being super bulky. Also very light weight.

Not me, the jacket ;). I was shocked how thin it was and was initially frustrated. Until I tried it on in my house and started to heat up immediately. I am excited to wear this over the winter as it's cute, fits well, and should also keep me very warm!

I ordered two sizes L and XL based on previous reviews. The large fit, but when I put on some winter clothes It was a little too sung, so I opted for the XL even though it bruised my ego a little. I love the nocturnal color it will go with anything. Of course I received the coats on the hottest day of the year, so it was plenty warm, so I cannot attest how it will do this winter. Love that it has a hood and dual zippers. Love the omni lining in the body as well as the arms. Seems to be a very well made coat and very slimming compared to down coats.

I purchased the Heavenly Long Hooded jacket because I had been so pleased with my other Columbia jackets. I need a longer, hooded jacket for outside bus duty this Winter so I thought this might be a good choice. Columbia did not disappoint! The color, Dark Nocturnal, is absolutely beautiful! The lined hood is comfy but does not obstruct my vision. I always enjoy the thermal lining which is warm but does not add to the weight of the jacket. I highly recommend this jacket. This coat is exactly what I expected. Haven't had the weather to wear it yet but I love how light weight it is. I love the Omni heat. I have many Columbia coats and jackets with Omni heat and it is great. Live the faux fur in the hood. Great quality

I was in need of a new winter coat and have been eyeing this one up since last winter. I also know two people who have this coat and really like it. I love the color and that's it's not super puffy and the Omni heat is awesome! This will also be great when I have to take the train to Chicago. It's not too puffy and you don't feel super huge when wearing it.

This jacket is not only warm but it also has a nice, flattering fit. I am always cold and this is one of the few jackets that can actually make me feel warm/borderline hot, which I love. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this jacket at the end of the summer (gearing up for the winter) and when it came in, i was very excited! It is lightweight, but has the themal heating, which- when i tried it on, worked instantly. There is a two way zipper (one that goes to the top and the bottom) which is kind of sticky after using it a couple of times, but maybe it just needs a little working. I usually wear a size medium in shirts/jackets, but for this one I ordered a Large so i could layer underneath and I am glad I did. It gives me a little extra room that passes the hug test, and I know i can wear bulky sweaters underneath. I recommend sizing up if you want to layer up, or have a little extra room! I would absolutely purchase again.

I am heading to an Antarctic area for a few days and needed a coat that would pack flat but be warm enough for spring in that area. This coat seems to do it, it flattens to almost nothing in the suitcase. Will do a better review after I return on its warmth level. However, like most Columbia products, it runs small. I wear a 12/14 in most manufacturers, I find in Columbia, an XL barely makes it. However, if you try a 1X, it is enormous. I love Columbia products but sizing is always a problem.

I love this coat. The extra length is awesome on the colder days. It also has the omni heat on the inside. The coat is light weight but has the warmth of a heavey coat. This is my second jacket with the omni heat lining. This is a must have jacket. I ordered a medium so i had room for the extra layer i wear .

Haven't been able to wear yet as it is still summer, but it is exactly what I wanted. Lightweight and comfortable. Fitted so glad I ordered a larger size as I was between two sizes. I love that it is longer - comes to mid-thigh on me so no draft up my back.

It hasn't gotten cold enough in VA to wear it yet but just from trying it on it seems like it will do its job in the 40 weather over winter. I normally wear a size 0-2 as I am 5' 1.5" and 118 lbs and the XS fits perfectly. I am very excited to wear it when the weather becomes chillier!
