The zipper on this jacket was so difficult to maneuver. I even purchased a second one thinking it was just one bad zipper, but the other one was just as bad. I also agree with one of the other reviews that the silver foil (which I know helps provide the warmth of the coat) just looks a little out of place on this style of coat. I couldn’t justify keeping this coat for the price.

Got the jacket last week. Tried it on and fit was spot on. Color was exactly as pictured. Very lightweight as described. Loved it. can't wait to use it this colder days.

If you are looking for a longer coat that is not bulky - this is the one! I like that it is a little fitted on the sides. I ordered a large which is my normal size & it fits perfectly. No reason to size up for this coat. I am tall 5' 10" and the sleeves are plenty long enough. The color I ordered was dark nocturnal and the color is as it appears in the photos. No complaints here!

I really loved the jacket, but at my first attempt to unzip the jacket, i could easily slide the top zipper, but the bottom zipper *which allows us to open the jacket from bottom up was stuck and no matter how strategically and gently I tried, It just wouldn't unzip. I ended up trying the jacket with the bottom zip still in place. Will return to get another one with a proper working zip.

My jacket is all I have been looking for!!!!! It's lightweight, so that it make it easy to carryon or stay for long hours with it during my work visiting my buildings contructions! I hardly recomend it!!!! I purchase sice S, I weigth 57kgs.-

The jacket is very good and fits perfectly. I didn't have the opportunity to test it yet, but it seems to be warm as I wanted.

I have been a loyal Columbia customer for a long time and this type of jacket is my absolute favorite! It's lightweight and super comfortable and keeps you warm but not too hot. I love how the temperature regulates, and I love the thumb holes in the sleeves. I will never buy another jacket without them.

LOVE THIS COAT! So comfortable. Love that it came in long. Arms are great length, I am 5'10 140 lbs. I ordered a Large Long so it is roomy enough that I can wear over anything. I hate clothes that are tight so this is perfect. If you are my size and you want it form fitting and more flattering, order a medium. Very happy with purchase. Great price.

Love the feel of the jacket. It almost like satin.Beautiful deep blue color. Form fitting and love the length. I've had a little trouble getting the zipper to work. Need to make the pin is in the box perfectly before pulling the zip.

I have been wanting this coat for a while, but because of my budget was unable to purchase it. I was so happy to be able to get it at this terrific price even though I cant wear it until Winter! This warm, beautiful coat made my summer happy!!

I purchased this coat after a very long cold winter without a long coat. The coat has a form fit to it and true to size. The color is beautiful not everyone will see me know. I like that it is not bulky or heavy but very warm for the sub zero temperature in northern Wisconsin. I think it was a great buy and well worth the money.

love it so far, light and warm

This was a tough one...great price, the jacket fit perfectly and was exactly what i was hoping for...the fit was the most perfect of any coat I have tried all year...lots of shape, made me feel sexy...the downside...the silver foil looking lining....not cool Columbia...I'm super sad to send this back because I know that I could really use it. I just feel like as soon as I take it off and the world sees my foil interior, I will have lost all my cool...all of it....if it were a ski jacket, no prob...but, its more of an around town coat for me.

Love this jacket, second one I have purchased. The fact that it is lightweight yet warm is the best of both worlds. The thermal reflective technology is genius!

It's been a while since I've purchase a jacket worth my wild the color, the alter fitting, the quality is everything I can ask for ,I can't wait for the cold winter to come around this time I'm so ready now all I need is some warm snow boot!

First of all this coat is definitely not water resistant. When the rain hit my coat, I immediately felt the cold dampness on my skin. I have had this coat for a good year, and with this being my second one do to stitching issues, I'm having the issue again with stitching. Coat definitely does not feel insulated forcing me to wear fleece under it. Got a little wet in the rain omw to work this morning and now getting off of work, the coat still has a chill to it on my skin. Coat does not stand up to the cold weather/rain of the Windy City. But I do like the length, thumb holes and lining around the neck and hood and also the zip up pockets.

I love the style and fit of this coat. I love that it isn't bulky and is super easy to drive in play outside with the kids in and do daily activities without feeling stiff. I have not yet worn it in the cold NY winter but kept me dry and warm on a cold 40 degree day

I love the lightweight and warm jacket but there are two points that would make this an exceptional purchase. 1) the hood is about 3 inches short of being useful in the rain. 2) the inside side zipper pocket on the left side of the chest is a great idea but function wise, it falls way short of being practical. I have to keep zipping and unzipping my front jacket to retrieve my phone. In the blustery New York winter, this is a highly annoying feature. This zipper pocket should've been placed OUTSIDE the front zipper.

The moment I received the jacket, I was so happy because it fit me well but I was disappointed because the zipper doesn't work easily. I tried a few times and I got so frustrated that I put it aside and the next day I tried it again, finally it worked! I didn't want to go thru the hassle of returning it, what I did was leaving the jacket zipped until the bottom so when I want to wear it I will slip on from the bottom thru my head. I hope Columbia will take a look at the quality of the zipper of the rest of their jackets. This is just a feedback. Maybe I am the only one who received a jacket with a bad quality zipper. Thank you

I desperately needed a solid winter coat for New England weather and landed on this one. It did not disappoint. I stayed warm all winter long, even on the coldest days. Easily survived long trips to the dog park with the pup without freezing. I actually need to take the coat off on long drives or I'll overheat while driving. Definitely recommend it for colder weather as an everyday jacket. Get a size up with you have thicker thighs or like to wear heavier sweaters. Highly do not recommend wearing this jacket in the rain. I guess it's partially my fault for not realizing it's only "water resistant" and not water proof. But when I've worn this jacket on rainy days, water seeps through the jacket and my back ends up soaked. I guess it passes for water resistant in the snow. But it resists nothing in the pouring rain.

Love this coat. Fitted for a nice sleek look. I usually wear a small but it runs a little snug in the arms so I sized up to a medium for a perfect fit. Longer coat to keep your legs warms. The OmniHeat layer keeps you super warm.

I really wanted this jacket for a while. I love the soft hoodie and the silky hand sleeves. The length is perfect if you love long jackets. The only thing I found a bit of a hassle was the zipper it sometimes struggles as it is stiff. I've tried different sizes and colors on the factory store and the zipper always seemed to have this issue. Overall, it's still pulls through quite fantastic in regards to its function.

I adore this coat. I purchased one about a year and a half ago and ended up busting the zipper on accident. MN winters are NOT forgiving when you have a broken coat - Columbia hooked me up with a new one and thank god. I couldn't survive without this coat - it's warm as can be without being bulky or uncomfortable. It's soft as butter and looks great. 10/10 you need this coat.
