It did not keep me warm enough for temperatures in the 30s. Bought this jacket for a work trip to Seattle in December where temps were mid to upper 40s and it was warm enough, but I also had a trip to Boston right after that and I was freezing in the 30s. I layered up in Boston and it still did not keep me as warm as I thought it would. I did not want a bulky or heavy jacket and thought after reading the reviews that it would be okay, which it is, but Just not for colder temps. For reference, I'm 5'1" and 110 lbs. XS fit perfectly.

This jacket is great for Jersey winter months. Keeps the wind and cold out. I ordered mine a size larger to accomodate my bust and I still have enough room for a sweater underneath.

This is a great coat. I definitely recommend. But I think the zipper could use some work.

Very stylish and cozy. I ordered a medium but it was a little tight in the underarm area. Sent it back for a large. I am 5ft 6in and weigh 130 lbs.

Good product but only expect it to keep you warm at 15C no more than that. At 10C it will be too cold.

I'm from the Northwest and I had a similar coat to this one and loved how it withstand a ton of rain and how thin, while still keeping you warm, this coat was. Only issue I have is that I have replaced this coat twice in the past for the same issue of the zipper breaking and it not being able to be repaired.

This is a good winter jacket but you definitely need to wear layers with it because it is not the warmest jacket.

I love the jacket but following other reviews, I order a size larger than my size and the jacket was too big. The jacket runs true to size. Returning and getting a smaller size.

Love this coat but after 2 years zipper broke. I can still wear it but have to step into it. Ordered a different color because I do love the coat!

The jacket has a comfortable fit and looks great. It is warmer than I'd expect a lightweight jacket to be but it is not warm enough for truly cold weather. I like that it is comfortable for driving and quick dashes across a parking lot carrying toddlers and grocery bags. It is not however warm for extended periods of time in weather below freezing. I'd hate to wait for the bus in this coat. I am cold and shivering if I need to walk more than a block or spend more than a few minutes outside in this jacket. If you need something lightweight and flexible and the temps in your area hover around freezing or above this is a great jacket. If you are looking for something to wear for subzero temps, keep looking.

I love this jacket but there is one huge problem: the sizes are so messed up!!! I normally wear a size L/10 in many brands and I ordered that size thinking it would be a perfect fit. No way. The jacket fits like a sausage casing. I tried it on with only a t-shirt and it was still very snug. It was super tight around the back chest area. I could feel it when breathing. I am able to zip it up and everything but I just can't do a tight jacket, especially since it's a winter coat. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. It's warm and I love the olive color, the built in hand covers and the fuzzy hood. It's also not bulky like other winter jackets in this style. It's so lightweight yet so nice and warm. I will definitely exchange it for an XL. Hopefully that size works! Plus size will most likely be too big for me. Columbia please make your regular sized jackets for a broader range of women's body sizes and shapes!

This coat is really cute on. The fit is perfect and well-tailored at the shoulders and the hood. The hood is a nice shape and stays on. The coat is thin and lightweight, but really warm which is exactly what I was looking for: easy to carry and packable. I think it is likely due to the lining. However, the lining is why I will be returning it. I unzipped the jacket to try it on and whoa. Surprise! It was lined with some kind of special thermal material that resembles emergency blankets. It's shiny, metallic, and looks gaudy. You can't miss it when you take off the coat and hand it over to coat check or hang it on the back of your chair. It's a pretty jacket, as long as you don't take it off. Also, may be a one off, but the zipper on this one wouldn't zip up.

I am very pleased with my purchase. It's warm as soon as you put it on! The length is just right and I love the thumb holes. It's just what I need for this Michigan winter.

This jacket fits great. Love the warm lined hood, the wrist ribbing, the light-weight fabric, and the length. I look forward to wearing it this winter, as it seems super warm. My only complaint is the zipper is VERY difficult to get started. I hope I'm not in a hurry to get zipped up, as this could get frustrating.

I am heading to an Antarctic area for a few days and needed a coat that would pack flat but be warm enough for spring in that area. This coat seems to do it, it flattens to almost nothing in the suitcase. Will do a better review after I return on its warmth level. However, like most Columbia products, it runs small. I wear a 12/14 in most manufacturers, I find in Columbia, an XL barely makes it. However, if you try a 1X, it is enormous. I love Columbia products but sizing is always a problem.

Love the feel of the jacket. It almost like satin.Beautiful deep blue color. Form fitting and love the length. I've had a little trouble getting the zipper to work. Need to make the pin is in the box perfectly before pulling the zip.

I love the style and fit of this coat. I love that it isn't bulky and is super easy to drive in play outside with the kids in and do daily activities without feeling stiff. I have not yet worn it in the cold NY winter but kept me dry and warm on a cold 40 degree day

I love the lightweight and warm jacket but there are two points that would make this an exceptional purchase. 1) the hood is about 3 inches short of being useful in the rain. 2) the inside side zipper pocket on the left side of the chest is a great idea but function wise, it falls way short of being practical. I have to keep zipping and unzipping my front jacket to retrieve my phone. In the blustery New York winter, this is a highly annoying feature. This zipper pocket should've been placed OUTSIDE the front zipper.

I desperately needed a solid winter coat for New England weather and landed on this one. It did not disappoint. I stayed warm all winter long, even on the coldest days. Easily survived long trips to the dog park with the pup without freezing. I actually need to take the coat off on long drives or I'll overheat while driving. Definitely recommend it for colder weather as an everyday jacket. Get a size up with you have thicker thighs or like to wear heavier sweaters. Highly do not recommend wearing this jacket in the rain. I guess it's partially my fault for not realizing it's only "water resistant" and not water proof. But when I've worn this jacket on rainy days, water seeps through the jacket and my back ends up soaked. I guess it passes for water resistant in the snow. But it resists nothing in the pouring rain.

I really wanted this jacket for a while. I love the soft hoodie and the silky hand sleeves. The length is perfect if you love long jackets. The only thing I found a bit of a hassle was the zipper it sometimes struggles as it is stiff. I've tried different sizes and colors on the factory store and the zipper always seemed to have this issue. Overall, it's still pulls through quite fantastic in regards to its function.

I bought this for an upcoming trip so I haven't worn it in really cold temps yet. For now, I rated the jacket as good. It's lightweight and provided warmth on the occasions I used it. I wanted something I could put in a backpack if I needed to and this will definitely work. I originally ordered a medium (which I normally wear) but found I wouldn't be able to wear extra layers. So I ordered a large which gave me extra space, but isn't too large if I don't need the extra layers.

I purchased this jacket during an end of season sale to use for next winter. I normally wear a size medium in clothing, but I like my jackets to be a little larger, especially winter jackets, so I can wear heavy sweaters underneath if necessary. I might have been able to get away with a medium on this coat, but I don't mind the extra room. The coat is very lightweight, but the insulation and warming features are great. I love how the sleeves have a fleecy wrist with thumb holes - big fan. I got the black cherry color and I love it. I'm 5'9" and this coat falls below mid-thigh, but above the knee. I compared a few similar coats across different companies and I'm happy to have landed on this one.

This jacket fits perfectly. I was a little surprised by the thin material but it does keep me warm!

I ordered my jacket in olive green. The jacket that I received was chocolate brown with absolutely no hint of green at all. Olive green should not be the description, it is a chocolate brown. Do not order the olive green if you are expecting a green jacket. I do think the quality seems nice. Very dissatisfied with color

I walk dogs all day and needed a coat that wasn't too bulky but would keep me warm and cover my thighs. This jacket fits true to size and is lightweight and warm at the same time. I've worn it in 15 degrees outside for over an hour and stayed warm. I wish it was waterproof. Any rain seems to penetrate the jacket. The fleece lined hood is a great added feature. I love the interior pocket as well. I can put my phone in it and use my headphones with ease. I I gave 4 stars because I do have trouble with the zipper often and I wish the front pockets were bigger. Overall, I would recommend this jacket. For reference, I am 5' 11" 190 lbs with curvy hips and the Large fits perfectly.
