I'm 5'7" 119 lbs and got a small, though I usually wear an extra small. I wanted room for layering, and there's plenty of it. We've had a couple mornings in the upper 20's and the coat kept me very warm, even without layering. And I like the cuffs with the thumb hole. My only complaint is that I have to fiddle with the zipper a little before I'm able to zip it.

I've had this for two years now- it's held up great- no signs of wear yet! It is more ideal for fall though, Michigan winters get cold and I need something heavier when it gets below 30. Only giving 4 stars because of this, I was hoping to be able to wear it when it is super cold!

I've been on the hunt for a super lightweight, long down coat to be my new everyday-all-winter coat for the next several years in northern New England. The selling point for me on the Heavenly is the soft, tight stretchy cuffs with thumb holes. The furry texture inside the hood is nice, too. But for me, not having snap closures in addition to the zipper is a big drawback. Wish I could rate 4.5 instead of 4! Beyond that, Columbia products are always a good fit for my body type so this was no exception -- fits like a glove. I'm 5'4", 140ish pounds.

I bought this in preparation of winter in Colorado, so I can't speak for its warmth value yet. But what I can say is that unlike many of these longer coats, Columbia is close to designing a long coat that has a flattering fit! The only flaw, as with all of them is not enough accommodation for a women's chest (very tight, which isn't flattering). That said: having a longer coat with a flattering fit is WONDERFUL!!!

I ordered the spruce green color in a size small. For reference I'm 5' 8.5" and 130 lbs, 34a, typically a size 4 and size small. I dabble in XS if an item runs large. So I'd say this jacket is true to size. I do have room in the bust area, but I always do. Jacket hits me at mid thigh area and covers quite nicely. I love the part that goes over the hand (not sure what it's called) and the fleece lined hood and fleeced lined pockets are a really nice feature. The spruce green is such a lovely color and is a nice change from blacks and grays. I think it will work on a variety of skin tones. Haven't tested this out in cold weather, I'm in the Seattle area, but I got overheated trying it on over a tshirt inside so I think that's a good sign for winter. Great jacket, buy it!

I'm looking forward to wearing this coat in the cold weather:) Hopefully it will still fit-- just right... The soft, bright color makes me cheerful.

It's still Summer here, but I know this coat will be warm in winter. Just trying it on, I got warm. Love that it is very light-weight. I usually wear a 10 for pants, 10-12 for shirts, and the large fit perfect. I picked the navy and it's a beautiful shade. I gave a 4 star rating not 5, due to the fact that this zipper is horrible, and feels cheap. Having a difficult time getting it up/down.

I wear a small or extra small in shirts from Columbia. I have one pair of Columbia shorts in medium. They're kinda big. I was expecting a small to fit great, but it was pretty tight. I was bummed. I loved the coat, but the color I wanted wasn't available in medium.

I love the color and quality. I'm L, but the large was too small for me. I got the XL so I can have extra room :)

this jacket is very warm in Wisconsin Winters. It is nice and long. Is your taller people the sleeves are a little snug/short. Very warm but not bulky.

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to replace a similar coat that I have had for years. Runs true to size.

The coat is wonderful! Have not worn yet in winter but seems like it would be warm. Only issue is touchy zipper - does work but need to play around with it a little bit

I bought this coat as a gift to a friend to use in Argentina. The coat looks really pretty but it runs large for her. However, if she wants to put more layers it should be fine. I think a size M would have been ok for her. Overall she's happy.

I bought a large to be able to wear larger layers underneath but it fits and looks good with or without the bulkier layers. The zipper sticks. My friend has the same coat and her zipper also sticks. I feel like it got a little better with time but it wasn't a deal-breaker. It is warm and blocked some wind.

I have worn this jacket a few times in 45 degree weather. It is plenty warm even though it fits best with few layers underneath, more like size 12 than size 14. The special reflective lining conserves body heat. The pale teal color I chose is very pretty. I appreciate the two way zipper.

I love the fit and style of this jacket and that is not bulky. We have not had any super cold weather so I am not sure about the warmth factor in zero degree conditions, but so far I have no issue with staying warm (currently around 30-40 degrees). I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the trouble with the zipper. You have to hold the 2 tabs of the zipper together and then give it a push to get the zipper lined up perfectly. Sometimes it takes a good 2-3 minutes.

This was the second Columbia jacket I had to return. This one ran a bit small in the arms and the stomach areas. I returned because I would not be able to wear a sweatshirt under the jacket comfortably.

I love coats by Columbia I have had many. This zipper is very tricky. It sticks and I have trouble getting it to catch to zip up, otherwise, I like it.

I would give it a five only if the hood could be hidden or folded and if there's a small bag to put it in and to carry but overall I love it

Love the color, hand cuffs and weight of this jacket. A bit disappointed in the quality as I've had it for only a few weeks and since day one the zipper has been very difficult. Takes several tries to get it to zip up from the base of coat.
