I love this coat! It is light weight, but very warm, and I live in MN! Is form fitting and true to size. My husband and daughter complimented me the first time I wore it. I read reviews that the zipper had problems, so I'm careful not to rush when pulling it up. I'm 5 ft 4 inches tall, 120 pounds and the small fits perfectly over a shirt and fleece jacket.

I haven't found this jacket to be all that warm. I live in Colorado and I think it's good to maybe about 30°. After that you'd have to seriously layer up underneath to keep warm and that can be a hassle for everyday life. I don't find myself to run crazy cold usually but I'm not the hottest running person either. My other issue with this jacket is the zipper really does suck as many others have said. It can be really difficult to get it started and it's rather frustrating. It's one of the most important parts of a jacket! I've thought about returning it many times. Other than those complaints I really like it. I like the shape of it (it's more flattering to a woman's figure versus many others out there).

My daughter absolutely loves this coat. It is warm but not bulky at all. As a teenager she had always hated wearing winter coats but has worn this every day since receiving. Looking to buy one for myself!

I have been LIVING in this coat since I've bought it!! The Omni-heat feature is amazing and keeps you insulted and so warm! I've been through so many different coats but this definitely beats them all in every way! I love it so much I've bought 2 of my sisters one!! Love love love!

I'm always cold and was worried that because it is so light weight, it wouldn't keep me warm. I couldn't believe how warm it does keep me. It's the perfect length and I love the color!

Fits true to size and love the dark purple color I got! Much lighter weight then I thought it would be but still really warm!

Perfect coat for snow, cold and travel. I can stuff mine into a small stuff bag (including gloves and hat!) when I fly somewhere warm from Montana and don't need it. I also like that it's light weight and come to just above my knee. I'm 5'6" 145#'s and bought the medium

I don't understand how a coat can be so lightweight yet SO WARM!! It weighs practically nothing, and yet sometimes I get too warm wearing it! It's perfect for cold winters. I also love the length. I usually wear an xs or s and went with a small in this coat. I'm glad I did. The sleeves are a perfect length and there is a little room for a layer underneath. So, if you're debating between two sizes, I'd go with the larger one. I highly recommend this product!

Absolutely love this Jacket. It's light weight and so warm. Even on the coldest days this jacket is a must. You can dress it up or simply get on your gear and go. I have actually purchased two just so I would have a second one. I own a boutique myself and have had many jackets , but none can compare to this one.

Love the slim fit. Attractive profile. Provides extra warmth for the cold, yet breathes so you don't feel hot when wearing indoors. I love the length and added thumb loop to keep wrist and arm warmth.

This coat is so warm, comfortable, and stylish. I can be warm and still look semi dressed up. I'm so glad I bought it! Wish I would have known it was going on sale, but who knows I probably wouldn't have been able to wait. Had to have it!! So warm!

I love this coat! It doesn't feel heavy, but it's very warm and comfortable, and it doesn't make me look like a marshmallow. I'm 5'4", 120 pounds, and I ordered both the small and extra small. The small fit, but was bigger around the middle than I prefer, which can be too drafty for me. The extra small fits perfectly with room for a sweatshirt. I have very long arms for my height, and I often have trouble finding sleeves that are long enough. These sleeves fit perfectly - even in the extra small! The color is more of a grayish blue, and it's pretty true to color in the pictures of me wearing the coat. The picture I took of the hood appears lighter than actual. With the hood up and the zipper fully zipped, I don't think the wind will be able to blow it down, and the inside of the hood is a soft, furry lining. I don't have any problems with the zipper as long as I ensure that both the top and bottom zipper pulls are tight together and all the way at the bottom, and the zipper part being inserted is all the way in before pulling the zipper up. I live in PA, but it hasn't gotten very cold here yet. I wore the coat over a thin shirt in temps in the mid-30's and I was plenty warm. The only change I would make is slightly deeper pockets. It's a tight fit for my gloved hand and my phone in the same pocket. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase!

I bought this for my upcoming trip to Chicago. I haven't been able to test it out yet but when trying it on, it didn't take long for me to start getting hot. I can't wait to try it out in the city next week.

Runs a tiny bit big. Ordered the red coat. In the picture it shows the comfort cuff and inside the hat as red and when it arrived they were gray. ?? Zipper is a pain to initially zip and unzip. Haven't tested it in the coldest of weather but it does the job. Def will not purchase online anymore. Always will want to try on products before I purchase.

I love that you can compact this coat but it is still warm for the cold winters in northern PA. Thin but very functional. Not sure if it runs a little small or if I'm unwilling to admit that I should go to the next size. I always find that the next size is too big in the arms and shoulders. Just slightly snug in the tummy. I still love it.

I bought a Columbia fall jacket and rain jacket and I love them so much. I needed a quality winter jacket and quickly for a trip to Chicago. The jacket is great and keeps me warm but I am constantly fighting with the zipper when I try to put it on. The zipper get stuck almost ever time at the bottom I have the insert the one side at am angle to fit them to zip up. Really frustrating at times.

Very comfortable and affordable light weight jacket.

I purchased this jacket because I needed a warm hooded winter jacket, but not something too big and puffy. I really like the hand cuffs because they keep my wrists warm and keep the chill out without having to wear gloves. The pockets are deep enough to hold my phone and other essentials if I do not want to carry my purse. It's lightweight, but so warm. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

This is the perfect winter coat for both warmth, comfort and style. I love that it gives me coverage in my hips and thighs. It functions through an at times harsh TN winter. I wore it in misty below 30 and I was perfectly fine. I think if it got colder than that I would wear warmer clothes underneath or even get a jacket made for storms or for being outside for long periods of time but for typical use: running errands, shopping, walking to and from car to buildings, daily use for a mom it's amazing. I personally wouldn't change a thing about this coat.

This coat is very lightweight, but extremely warm. I love the lines hood and the sleeves that have thumb holes. The length is perfect.

I've been a Columbia customer for many years now. I had a Mighty Lite long jacket previously, which I ended up giving away because it wasn't as warm as I wanted and had no visible loft--looked like a sad deflated sleeping bag. This jacket has more loft and is warmer. I'm 5'3" and 105#, and this XS jacket seems just a bit larger than Columbia's previous fit. Altogether I'm happy with it and can wear fleece or other bulky items underneath. The cuffs with thumb holes are a nice feature and I like the Omni-Heat lining, which has been around for quite awhile now and seems surprisingly effective.

I purchased this coat for my wife who hates wearing coats because they are big but this one is sleek and warm, very fashionable and the Omni tech keeps your chest warm through the frigid cold weather. This coat is recommended highly

This jacket is perfect for when the weather starts to get cold. I sized up and got a medium so I could wear a layer or two underneath. It is very warm from when I have worn it in 30 degree weather. The extra length keeps your bottom covered from the wind. Not sure how warm it will be when it gets a lot colder, but it's perfect for the beginning of winter weather.
