I LOVE this jacket! Sure, it's not the cheapest jacket you can ever find, but it holds up pretty well! My first jacket survived 2-1/2 falls/winters with my clumsy self until I poured diesel additive down the sleeve... I love that it hugs my form, it's a longer jacket, and it's relatively thin. It's light enough to use in the fall and the inside reflective heat liner keeps you warm enough in the winter. The sleeves are actually long enough (this NEVER happens!) and the jacket itself is long enough for my taller than average frame. The style and length also make it practical enough for every day use and if you want a "dressier" option. Easy to match any hat, glove, scarf combo with, and it's a whole new look. I am a tall, relatively thin girl with an impossible frame size. I have a long torso, long arms, and the rest of my body is probably a medium but my chest is an XS. It is impossible to find clothing that fits, let alone jackets that are long enough without being 3 sizes too large. The XS hugs me tightly while still being comfortable. I could probably bump up to a small and still be comfortable, but I like the way the XS fits and it's still 100% comfortable to sit and move around in. I hope they never stop making this coat. It is perfect!

This is a lightweight yet somewhat warm jacket that is beautifully designed with some shape to it but not too much. I choose it whenever I'm running errands and will be in/out of stores, etc because it's light weight and not too warm. The two-way zipper gets caught up sometimes. This happened with another similar Columbia coat I opened. It actually broke after about a year so I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen with this one. They need to put in much better zippers!! Otherwise it's just right.

This coat is light and thin but definitely holds in the heat. The black cherry color is great - almost a deep purple. I love that the sleeves are long and have thumb holes too.

I have tried different jackets for the past seven years. This is one the best light weighted jackets and fits me perfectly. Love it.

This jacket looks good and is relatively warm. I don't know if it's going to keep me warm on SUPER cold days, but it's good for the 30s so far. I live in northwest Indiana, near Chicago, so I will be able to put it to the test. I will say that it does run small as other reviewers have stated. I tried both a small and a medium. The small doesn't have a lot of room in it for me, but the medium looked a bit like a sack on me. Ultimately, I kept the small, but for days when I am wearing more layers, I'll have to use my Save the Duck jacket. I will say that I appreciate that this coat has the thermal technology and doesn't use down.

This coat offers great comfort and insulation along with flexibility of movement. Good coat for active people.

We live in SD where the winters are bone chilling cold (sub zero) and windy. My wife was looking for a winter jacket that would keep more of her body warm, with thumb hole cuffs as she is forced to the leave the comforts of our heated home. This hits all the marks of blocking wind, keeping more of her body warm with a stylish look. She really loves the jacket and glad we purchased it for her.

I love my new mid length jacket! The Omni heat lining keeps me very warm without the bulk.

I absolutely love this jacket. The color is very pretty. It's nice and warm yet feels light. I have worn in 30 degree weather in Chicago and I was nice and warm.

Nice fit; ordered up to accomodate bulky sweaters. As it happens, the weather hasn't been below freezing since I've had it, though it's been very chilly and I was satisfied with the warmth. The zipper is a little bit stiff and I wish there was a drawstring on the hood. Minor quibbles.

Light weight but warm and figure flattering! I'm 5'4" 138lb and the medium fits well.

I purchased this coat for a second time as I lost the first one. I originally replaced it with a cheaper coat, but it lacked the quality of this coat. I just purchased it again in dark nocturnal and absolutely love it! The Omni heat lining is so nice and warm. I also love the hand sleeves that are attached to the cuffs. I highly recommend this coat!

I needed a winter jacket that kept me warm but wasn't too big! This coat met all my requirements! The insulation really does the job highly recommend.

I have a few other Columbia coats in medium that I love so I thought I'd give this one a try. The top part of the coat fit nicely but the lower part was too tight around my hips. I am 5'6" and 150 lbs and pear shaped. I was hoping for more flare at the bottom of the coat but there wasn't so I returned it.

This coat is lightweight and really warm and cozy. So happy with my purchase. I wear a M/L is tops and sized up to an XL in this coat. I wanted room for bulkier sweaters and layers. Fits me perfectly. Love the thumb holes too.

Perfect winter coat! Ordered this in olive green. Love the mid-thigh length and fleece lined collar. Hood fits perfectly and keeps the wind, rain and snow off your neck. Pockets are comfy too. Super flattering design...Love!

It did not keep me warm enough for temperatures in the 30s. Bought this jacket for a work trip to Seattle in December where temps were mid to upper 40s and it was warm enough, but I also had a trip to Boston right after that and I was freezing in the 30s. I layered up in Boston and it still did not keep me as warm as I thought it would. I did not want a bulky or heavy jacket and thought after reading the reviews that it would be okay, which it is, but Just not for colder temps. For reference, I'm 5'1" and 110 lbs. XS fit perfectly.

Love, love, love this coat. I’m 5’6, 140lb, and the S fit like a glove. Love the soft fleece in the hood & thumb holes in sleeves. I live in NC so it’s seldom super cold, but planning to wear this to Europe later this month.

Absolutely in love with this coat! It's perfect for New York winters as it keeps me warm when it's in the 40s but also when it's like 20 degrees out! I love the little thumb loop sleeves so I can protect my wrists from the cold, and this jacket packs down so small for travel. I am 5'5" and a size 4/6, I got the medium so I have a little extra room for my hips and for layering. Love it!

I like my coat very much. Able to wear a sweater under it, if I want to wear another layer. I don’t like bulky jackets so this works great for me.
