Love the coat quality and hood. Good for cold and rain. However I had to return my other one because zipper broke. This is a replacement and zipper still is not easy to use. Seems like zipper quality is off. Have other Columbia stuff that seems to be better quality overall.

I love the weight of this coat and the stylish fit! It is beautifully made and super warm with thumbholes to keep the hands warm when they are not tucked away in the pockets. True to size!

Lightweight but super warm! This is my fourth Omni heat coat. Now everyone in my family has one!

I wish I could give a 5. If you splash or get a drop on the coat the stain is there. It will be reduced by washing but doesn't disappear. Keep this in mind if purchasing a lighter color. I havent tried a stain remover in fear of adding to discoloring. Otherwise very satisfied with warmth and fit.

I LOVE this coat! The length is great even though I'm only 5'2". And I don't get overheated wearing in stores. My only complaint is that the zipper is stubborn.

I really wanted this coat. Perfect length and had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately, when at the store, I couldn't even unzip it. Needless to say, I skipped it. Very disappointed.

I've had this coat for nearly two years. I like it for the fall and spring, but I bought it for the winter based on ratings and reviews. It does not feel like a winter coat! I live in the mid-south, so when the temp hits the 30s/40s, that's considered winter for us. (It does drop even lower and we occasionally receive snow.) The reviews and description led me to believe this coat would be perfect for that type of weather--I'm also hot-natured--but I am always still cold when I wear it. I can feel the wind through the layers, even with a sweatshirt on underneath. If I have on a thin layer underneath and have worn the coat for 30+ minutes, then I feel like the interior thermal layers begin to heat, but only with a thin layer and extended wear. Overall, I've been disappointed by the warmth this coat provides based on my expectations reading the product description and reviews. I do like the interior pocket, the thumbholes in the sleeves, and the length. I'd recommend it as a light layer in the early spring and late fall, but not for a winter coat.

So I just purchased it was between this coat and a Lands End coat. I've had coats from both companies so I was aware of both qualities. I choose this coat as I liked the fit, sleek not bulky, I thought the omni heat lining would be warm. It is a nice looking coat but definitely NOT a warm winter coat. It's ok for in/ car, store.. but that's about it. I just finished shoveling snow with an Under Armor turtle neck, with another shirt and slough not overly cold definable not warm. Maybe a good winter coat for more southern states but definitely not Pittsburgh.

I love the color (gray) and I could immediately tell this was going to keep me warm since when I first tried it on I felt heat building up within the first 5 minutes. The hood is soft inside and a great size that doesn't hang over your eyes. I also really love the half glove feature for the hands! Great length along the body and in the arms too. I'm tall and this doesn't pull in my arms and hits my mid thigh. I'm disappointed that the shape of this coat isn't more feminine in the waist; you're going to have PLENTY of room in that area. At first I thought I had sized this wrong, but when I came back to the site and looked at how it fit the model, you can see the bunching in the mid-lower back and the loss of shape from the side view. I'm glad I came back and looked because I was going to try to exchange it otherwise. It does fit correctly through the chest, shoulders, arms, and hips though. Those areas being the most important since I'm going to prioritize full range of motion over fit. My specs for size comparison and choosing your own fit: I ordered a Medium and I am 5'9", 142lbs, and my bust including my breasts is 36" (because why wouldn't we include the girls when sizing?)

This is a wonderful Jacket. It is toasty warm and an upgrade from the older version in that it has fur in the hood! Long enough to cover the booty and shaped to move comfortably around your curves.

It's warm, looks and fits as described. But the zipper is cheap and doesn't work well. My wife sometimes is not able to get the zipper to work at all.

I love this coat! I ordered one last year and got the same one again this year in a different color. It's a great light weight, the length adds warmth, the collar and hood and soft on my neck and the sleeves are long enough too. The fit is slightly fitted and the coat does not look or feel bulky. I can add layers underneath. I'm 5'8" 120# and the XS is perfect.

This coat is truly lightweight yet warm, easy to move in and comfortable. I love the slimming lines too. The attached hood has a nice fleece lining. I have the dark nocturnal color and it is a really pretty color. The longer length is great !! The only issue is the inside lining (omni heat thermal reflective ) which is very shiny, takes some getting used to.

Absolutely love this coat! I am 5'2", 125lbs, 34b with thicker upper arms & a bit more weight sitting at my hips. Ordered the xs and fits perfectly. I tried just about every coat they have in this length, in small & xs. This was the best fit by far for my proportions. I live in CO and am outside every day for a couple of hours at work. Has kept me warm but still able to move around. The fuzzy hood is nice perk. The zipper however is quite irritating for such nice a coat otherwise. Great color but should note hard to get stains out around the cuffs, especially oil based stains as well.

This coat is so comfortable! It's 1/4 the thickness of my old winter coat, and it's warmer! It's like magic. It keeps me warm outside, but doesn't make me overheat when I'm indoors. I am very happy with it.

Love this jacket, my fourth Columbia jacket and third of this kind of material. One is black, short, no hood. Other is purple with hood. And now this one. I love the warmth, the inside pocket, the cut, the thumb thingy, and the fit. I am 5'8", long arms. I machine washed one of them and it came out like new. This one I took to Rochester, MN and with a little layering underneath it kept me very warm. For my climate I use the black short one the most and the others if it gets windy or much colder.

This jacket has a great trim fit with no bulkiness and is truly warm. It is exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this coat several months ago and love it! Unfortunately, I had to return the first coat I received because (as many other reviews state) the zipper was very poorly made and kept sticking. When I got a replacement, the second one was also pretty bad, but I kept it and have been using it for a couple months now. Other than that, it's a great coat! It's warm, and the length is perfect. I bought a medium, which is what I usually wear, and it was perfect. It's nicely fitted (but not too snug), and flattering. I just wish they would put a zipper on it that matches the quality of the rest of the product!

Super pleased with this jacket. I walk the dog many times a day, regardless of temperature. If it is near zero degrees, there is plenty of room to add another layer. I usually need to unzip my coat a little, half way through my walk as I get too warm! Great problem to have. Three pockets.

I love this coat. The length is perfect. I wear size 10 - 12 and I bought a size large. I can wear a sweater and not feel stuffed into the jacket. I walk a lot in my Vancouver, WA neighborhood and it keeps me warm without any bulky weight. I highly recommend this excellent quality long jacket.

I love this coat!!! I've been wearing Columbia coats for years. I wear this coat everyday that it's cold. It keeps me warm and allows me to move when I'm doing errands, playing with my daughter or out for a walk.
