I ordered the blue frost new color that came out this season and was disappointed to see the color is not even 5% of what was pictured it is more of two tone color blue purplish not frosty blue so please beware of the color .. the bad review is only for color not being pictured correctly other than that the jacket is warm and perfect

At this point, there is not model North Face long down coat that fits. I think their sizing is off. My experience is that the M is an 8, and the L is a 14. For a winter coat, I would be looking at about a 10 so that I can get a sweater underneath. I just received a Gotham II L as a gift, and I am swimming in it! Hips are wayyyy too big, sleeves to long, whole coat is baggy. Yet I tried the Gotham II M, and it had a tight fit (think sausage). North Face, you need to fix your sizing!

I wanted this as a casual winter coat, but as a plus-size person it wasn't to be. The sleeves were long enough, but not roomy enough around the biceps. Because of this I cannot review any other qualities of the jacket.

Coat runs very very small. I am about a size 18 and the 3x would not even zip. This 3x is more like a size 16.

The feathers keep coming out and it does not keep me warm at all. I am so disappointed.

Was looking for a new winter coat when my coat broke. Had to return because it was too big and wasn't warm enough.

I am currently awaiting the e-gift.

I am so frustrated with the quality of the zipper of this coat. The warmth of the coat is great but of little use if you can only count on the zipper to work half the time. I trusted this name was worth the money, but I will be going with a different brand in the future. Sad to say this coat has left me out in the cold!

The color is not same as shown in the picture. Picture show milk white where are the item we received off-white color which I did not expect. So return the product. It wasted my time and effort.

I bought this jacket less than a month ago, and it is bleeding feathers at all times from all areas of the coat. I always thought North face jackets were well constructed until this one...Highly disappointed!

I purchased this jacket because it was rated as a "warmest" level on North Face. Unfortunately, I wore it one time on a 40 degree day and was FREEZING. I live in Minnesota and am used to the cold. This jacket performed worse than much more inexpensive jackets I've worn. It is barely warm enough for a MN fall and will never work in a MN winter. Now I am stuck with a jacket that doesn't work and I am unable to return even though it is in perfect condition. Terrible customer service and a jacket that doesn't hold up to what was promised.

NOT WARM ENOUGH FOR COLD WINTER LIKE IN NY STATE. YOU NEED EXTRA SWEATER FOR MORE WARMTH.

I am sorry I ever bought this coat. It's expensive and I have stopped wearing it. When I tried it on at the store I had some trouble getting the double zipper to go together so it would zip up. I thought that was just a glitch. Now it hardly ever zips up and I spent much of Christmas vacation in frigid weather holding the coat together.I hate the coat. I would recommend not buying it.

Feathers keep coming out and loosing one by even though it was new.

This jacket is so light weight and not warm at all. I was so unimpressed. Considering how much money I spent on this I was expecting so much more. This is being returned. Not worth the price.

Bad quality

I bought what I thought was the same jacket I'd purchased about two years ago. I needed to replace the old one because I had slightly ripped the shell and it wasn't repairable. . I was so surprised by the poor construction of the new jacket. Zippers that are plastic and don't zip well (the old jacket has real metal zippers), no vertical snaps. hood isn't detachable, pockets aren't lined. (The old jacket has those last three features.). The jacket two years ago was much higher quality. I could get used to it all but the zippers truly make this jacket a very cheap and frustrating product.

This product was simply the complete opposite of my thoughts. I thought it would be something a little more warm but it's very thin, totally not recommended for cold weather. I'm sending it back, not that it was someone's Christmas gift or anything!

Depressed...the manufacturer was way off...
