Hated the fit of this coat... I do not have a large chest but it was really compressing me at the chest area. I did not like the way the waist looked... it might have benefitted from a built in belt. I did get it in white... maybe that contributed to the unflattering shape lol but ultimately it was uncomfortable. Material was quite nice though and felt warm enough. Sad to return.

This jacket is keeping me warm in this colder than usual So Cal winter. I've had it a few weeks and feathers are coming out of the seams already! My black tops get coated in tiny feathers on the back. Disappointed in the quality! Not what I expect from North Face! I have a cheap Uniqlo jacket that never had this problem!

The coat looks good online and seems to be good quality, but the lower half looks strange and unflattering with the fabric flaring out at the hips like a bell. Exchanged for a different coat.

I bought this for college in Michigan which is pretty cold depending on the day. I've washed it once and after the first wash I could never get the feathers to go back to what they were. My coat is now very very thin and I walk around freezing on campus.

I bought this product due to all the amazing reviews and the high quality of this brand but this jacket has really let me down. Within 2 months of purchasing this jacket little feathers all along the seams started peaking through and actually falling out. Feathers have also punctured through the material in the front of the jacket and come out. Really dissapointed as I had such high hopes for this jacket! I've sent it back to be replaced as I hope it was just a manufacturing default.

I'm so disappointed to be returning this, but the fit was not as I had hoped! This goes in at the waist much more than I'd realized and between this hourglass shaping and the thick puff rolls, it created a ton of extra volume I don't actually have. Wish it was a straighter silhouette.

I was excited to receive this jacket, but when it came I was disappointed. Right away I noticed a smell about it, almost like a paint smell from the color. And the fit wasn't flattering, it fits nice in the waist but then bells out towards the hips. I've owed a few other North Face can't stand and my Sons also do too, but the quality and the fit wasn't what I expected. I will be returning it.

Cheap zipper. Not with the price!

Ordered a medium according to the size assistance. Too big all over. Keeping and wearing too large. No small size available now.

I love my coat; it was replacing almost the exact same one purchased 6 years ago. BUT the zipper works about 25% of the time. Why can't they get this right? Yesterday was 10 degrees in Chicago and I had my coat on 5 different times and it never zipped once. The day before my luck was better. My previous North Face coat had a similar issue, but it had 5-6 snaps, so if my zipper wasn't working at least I could snap up. This Gotham Parka II has no snaps, so when I can't get the zipper to work it hangs open. It will be a pain to return since I bought on-line. But How different will another one be?

I gave my sister my old north face parka and bought this one. Was surprised by the poor quality. Doesn't keep me warm even with layers when it is less than 30 degrees outside. Also the down keeps coming out and it is difficult to pull back in from inside. I loved my last north face coat so was disappointed in the quality of this one. Seems it was made for late fall New York weather.

I am so disappointed with this jacket! While the body is fairly warm, the wind blows right through the sleeves! To the point that I thought there was a hole in the jacket! This definitely can't handle Canadian winters! For over $300, I expected more from this jacket!

I loved the print of this jacket. it looks black and white on the website but it has some colour sprinkled through the pattern. Very Pretty. I thought this jacket was nice, nothing super special, the hood doesn't unzip, there is not collar on the sleeve to stop snow/wind going up your arm. Overall, I could not keep the jacket. It was so light that it didn't give me confidence that it would really keep me warm in temperatures colder than -20 (celcius) and in Ottawa, you've got to be ready for -40/45 temperatures. Ultimately, the return experience was positive because it was quick but I have a real problem when the NORTH FACE CREW will not pay for return shipping! It cost me $14.00 to send the jacket back, that is absolutely insane and unacceptable for a company as large as this one. I still love the North Face and bought a more expensive jacket - because I love your stuff - but I cannot give this jacket more than 2 stars because I had to pay for my return.

Exchanged this for the Metro. This coat was flared at the bottom and the quality did not seem the best for being a North Face

The jacket itself was nice but I did not like the fit on myself. It has a built in belt right under the chest area that I did not like. Also the pocket zippers are tiny and difficult to open.

I have yet to wear this coat. But with movement, the feathers come out of the coat easily! It's not a little bit, it's a lot! This is NOT the Northface quality I know and depended upon!

Terrible quality. Feathers are constantly coming out of the jacket which I expected to be made with better materials that would not cause this to happen.

The fit was super Tight but made my body look weird

I loved the look and feel of this jacket. I got it for Christmas 2 weeks ago and have warn it maybe 5 times total and the feathers are poking through in several different places. For the cost of this coat and for it to fall apart this quickly

My first jacket had feathers coming out of it. I called and ordered a exchange. The second jacket had the same issue. The quality is terrible.

I read up on this jacket and ordered it after I had gotten another one that wasn't very warm. I was understanding that this would be a true winter coat and even with a sweatshirt on underneath, I could still feel the cold outside. I live in MN, today it is 13 degrees here. Idk, I guess it just wasn't enough good down or something.

I didn't even take this coat out of the shipping box. The online photo of the blue frost showed a pretty light blue. Actual coat has an overwhelming metallic purple/pink hue. The blue undertone is barely visible. Not at all what I was expecting to receive. Very disappointed!

tiday will be first day to wear it.

Is nice but the color is not what show in this picture looks like unicorn changing color ugly color zipper look cheap

I haven't had the coat for a month and the feathers are coming out everywhere.
